In todays society it feels like if you have common sense you have to walk on eggshells with everyone you interact with in case they decide to blast your name on social media and cancel/get you fired. I lost my job years ago because of this and it sickens me that it just gets worse and worse every week. We need more people like you putting, who put their faces on the internet and spit the truths and cold hard facts about life. You and many others, such as Bill Maher and Jordan Peterson are gems in this world.

As Jordan Peterson so astutely pointed out, some men have feminine traits and some women have masculine traits. But that doesn’t mean those men should be women and those women should be men. Some people need to embrace the diversity of personalities and traits within their gender, and not jump to the conclusion that they’re the wrong gender.
How is that astute? It's just Peterson obfuscating the blatantly obvious. Quit jumping to the conclusion that you have the slightest idea what you're talking about when it comes to gender dysphoria as understood by actual qualified medical experts.
Which is surprising, because EVERYONE has BEEN a kid. I couldn't count how many phases I've had, and still continue to have to this day. I mean, it's not rocket science.
To be fair, it would be difficult to understand when some of these people never phased out of being one... Kids come in all ages and sizes these days... Use to be between usually 12 and 18, reality would set in and the maturation process would proceed... Not so much no more.
I'm a liberal and huge Maher fan - I think everyone needs to be careful with the language we use online to describe things. Most liberals i know sorta think like him - you just don't see it because it's noot extreme and garerning social media POV. Watch the rebuttals from other channels. The mental gymnastics is amazing. They mention the mess we give kids (which has already been debated ages ago). Everyone by now knows how wary we should be of giving kids meds for ADHD or depression or anything else. But that's their strawman argument on experimenting on children. So they recognize that both should be handled with extreme caution, but their transitions should be met. It's a crazy world we live in. I we're so far gone, I don't think we can take two steps back.

At my school we were doing a protest for the ten victims who were shot in buffalo, and people were holding signs about the lgbtq community and breast cancer awareness. When are these people finally gonna realize that not everything is about them.

I know a girl who only became a trans guy out of peer pressure and conditioning. It doesn't help that her mom also pushes her toward everything super progressive.
same exact thing is also happening to my 13-year-old niece. she's now showing signs of depression among other things. incredibly sad and disgraceful that a child has to deal with that at such a young age.

My sister is 13 as well, but thankfully she’s well aware of all the stuff going on around her and has chosen to remain conservative in spite of all the propaganda surrounding her. She goes to a very liberal school and is forced to hide her beliefs and politics for fear of being targeted and harassed.
as a teacher it genuinely scares me and makes me want to protect my kiddos at all costs because of the world we now live in. It terrifies me how this treatment of kids is welcomed and applauded. It's disgusting.
I guess I never gave it much though as a child, but teachers play a colossal role in shaping our youth. You spend more time with kids than their own parents, I can't even imagine the level of responsibility that must warrant. In the world we live in today, be that source of warmth and grace that kids need. You'll be that teacher that keeps in touch with students for years and eventually attends high school/university graduation ceremonies. What an amazing feeling it must be to be a teacher like that!

He's actually said a lot lately that agrees with the right. So much so that he spends part of his time defending that he is not a conservative. He has to try and defend that he is a liberal. He used to be a liberal and maybe even a right leaning liberal that he kept the right leaning parts hidden but now he comes across as a left leaning conservative.
Bill Maher is an interesting guy. There's a lot which is annoying about him, and I disagree with him about a lot of things, but... he has one overarching virtue, which is that he makes up his own mind about each issue, instead of simply swallowing either the Left or the Right's package whole.

I like that he's always inviting other people with very different politics and he always debates with them in a respectful way. He allows others to challenge him and he's not afraid to ask questions. Liberals and leftists can try to cancel him all he wants, he will never back down or apologize.

as a mom of 2 young boys 7 and 10 I beat myself up sometimes for yelling at them and being strict when I think I need to be, and also not to give in to their "wants", but watching what's happening to these poor kids today I think I am doing a good job. This is very dangerous times we live in.

Believe when I say it you're doing them - not wrong. I myself work with "difficult children" myself (be it their mental inabilities, pathological bringing up and so forth). Where I work and from where I am standing, you're just doing your job as a parent and should be proud that you do it in this way. I myself see it much too often when a child falls behind their peers mentally just because they fell behind with their education. Biologists could call it de-evolution or whatever, but we see it as bad parenting done by these youngsters parents / legal guardians, who weren't there to push their kids actually not follow the herd and not get brainless and let them be over-influenced by current mainstream media and "culture" they are exposed to. I, not being a parent myself, may be uproared as someone who "doesn't know anything about parenting, because I am not a..." - EXACTLY, I am not and I see mistakes and falls of the parents, viewing it from the sides and being able to... not be a bigot 🙂in telling people how to bring up their children while letting my own go against my preachings. Take heart in that you're doing well and knowing how to be strict enough and when. Kids need boundaries and know what kind of behaviour is "off-limits EVER". Best regards

A friend of my kids (neighbor kid) self identified as bisexual. Less than 2 years later he said he wished he never said anything because he was still a virgin, attracted to females and the thought of actually having sex with a man repulsed him. Kids do and say things just to fit in. Sometimes it comes back to haunt them.

You can catch with the Podcast of the Lotus Eater channel for UK, that's the alternative media launched by Carl Benjamin (formerly known as youtuber Sargon of Akkad). They give some news about the rest of Europe. For France, i can tell you that our medias and universities are already deep into it. They don't go as far as the US woke, for several reasons, but are already quite nonsensical. Now, from what i gather, wokism hasn't been welcomed in Eastern Europe, notably the parts that were under Varsaw pact rules. They had enough experience with totalitarianism and identify it quickly. They also cannot be guilted into accepting mass immigration on the behalf of a black slavery and colonization they never practised. But there are a lot of attempts, notably by the EU to push LGBT agenda onto them. The EU itself is really pushing wokism as much as it can.

"Trans children" shouldn't even be a thing. Anybody trying to manipulate or alter a child to fit what they want them be, needs to have their kid(s) taken from them and those people need to be put on a certain register.
Hopefully we eventually get to the point were you cannot have a child unless you undergo an emotional/psychological test. Would help minimize child abuse, and help shed out the shit for future generations. Because this is getting way out of hand..

I'm not a MAGA guy, but I am a conservative. And there are lots of things Bill Maher says that I have issues with. That said, he is an example to people on both sides of how we can disagree with each other, but talk about it, and not get unceremoniously dumped into one camp or the other.
This episode deserves big “Thank you!” Kids are not allowed to make decisions on smoking or drinking until 19 and 21 yo, but gender therapy and life changing surgery is all of the sudden ok and without parents consent? Those experiments should stop.

Well, I sometimes watched him and maybe it was timing but the times I watched him he sure sounded like a strong biased liberal. But I have actually been thinking of watching him now. I understand that he will still say things I disagree with but I am OK with that because he will say things I also agree with. The sad thing about the way the left has become such violent extremists is that there were some things that I used to kind of lean left on. For instance, I used to be leaning towards a little bit more restrictions on guns and didn't see the need for certain weapons. I can say due to the left extremism about 10 years ago I bought my first couple of guns and while I don't see a problem with a universal background check I think there should be a permit that allows people to buy guns and that you have to renew it every couple of years but when you go to the store to buy a gun you show that and you get the gun...All they do is check that your permit is valid still and has not been revoked due to some crime. I used to be more accepting of the whole gay thing but after seeing them getting what they asked for and then pushing that line forward and acting like they have not made progress and got what they wanted...I have moved away from accepting. I still think people can marry who they like and do what they want in the privacy of their own home but no one should be forced to say they accept it. It's sad that the extremists on the left have made me and probably others move to the right on certain subjects.

I don't understand how no one remembers what it was like for themselves growing up. We spend half of our Lives figuring out who we are and the other half making sure we stick by what we believe. Even if you don't have children and don't realize the phases that they go through, How can you not remember what it was like for yourself?
I got it...Nobody wants to remember their past because we are made to believe that our upbringing was "so bad". Parents buy their kid almost anything they want. No matter the cost. This week my pastor was talking about present issues we are dealing with as it relates to what the Bible says. He made a comment that men are men and women are women as God created us. The entire congregation burst into applause. It was really awesome. I do want to add that my pastor went on to say that the best way to deal with this issue is the way Jesus dealt with the issues of His day. To speak the truth always, but to do in in a loving but firm way.

But you can still be considered liberal or conservative overall (at least in my opinion). Many people, myself included, just prefer arriving to our own opinions without feeling strong loyalty or the need to conform to an existing set of views laid out by a particular side/ party.
As someone who does have anxiety and depression, it always ticks me off when people flaunt those terms around like they’re the latest Nike shoes. It’s not cool, it’s a serious medical issue.
I've been a lifelong sufferer of anxiety (due to a genetic metabolic condition I have, it's one of the many side effects.. there's a lot of science behind it but it's boring) but my point is that I don't tell anyone and I don't let it define me. I'm just a "normal" guy on the face of it. You can have a character suffering from those types of issues, and while the story is about how they're working through them, and how having such issues doesn't devalue you as a person, they idolize having them in the first place. Hell, I've seen tons of posts where a character will be actively suffering from it, and the caption is some shit about how they wish they were that damaged.

I myself work with "difficult children" myself (be it their mental inabilities, pathological bringing up and so forth). Where I work and from where I am standing, you're just doing your job as a parent and should be proud that you do it in this way.
I myself see it much too often when a child falls behind their peers mentally just because they fell behind with their education. Biologists could call it de-evolution or whatever, but we see it as bad parenting done by these youngsters parents / legal guardians, who weren't there to push their kids actually not follow the herd and not get brainless and let them be over-influenced by current mainstream media and "culture" they are exposed to.
I, not being a parent myself, may be uproared as someone who "doesn't know anything about parenting, because I am not a..." - EXACTLY, I am not and I see mistakes and falls of the parents, viewing it from the sides and being able to... not be a bigot 🙂in telling people how to bring up their children while letting my own go against my preachings.
Take heart in that you're doing well and knowing how to be strict enough and when. Kids need boundaries and know what kind of behaviour is "off-limits EVER".

For France, i can tell you that our medias and universities are already deep into it. They don't go as far as the US woke, for several reasons, but are already quite nonsensical.
Now, from what i gather, wokism hasn't been welcomed in Eastern Europe, notably the parts that were under Varsaw pact rules. They had enough experience with totalitarianism and identify it quickly. They also cannot be guilted into accepting mass immigration on the behalf of a black slavery and colonization they never practised. But there are a lot of attempts, notably by the EU to push LGBT agenda onto them.
The EU itself is really pushing wokism as much as it can.

Well, I sometimes watched him and maybe it was timing but the times I watched him he sure sounded like a strong biased liberal. But I have actually been thinking of watching him now. I understand that he will still say things I disagree with but I am OK with that because he will say things I also agree with.
The sad thing about the way the left has become such violent extremists is that there were some things that I used to kind of lean left on. For instance, I used to be leaning towards a little bit more restrictions on guns and didn't see the need for certain weapons. I can say due to the left extremism about 10 years ago I bought my first couple of guns and while I don't see a problem with a universal background check I think there should be a permit that allows people to buy guns and that you have to renew it every couple of years but when you go to the store to buy a gun you show that and you get the gun...All they do is check that your permit is valid still and has not been revoked due to some crime.
I used to be more accepting of the whole gay thing but after seeing them getting what they asked for and then pushing that line forward and acting like they have not made progress and got what they wanted...I have moved away from accepting. I still think people can marry who they like and do what they want in the privacy of their own home but no one should be forced to say they accept it. It's sad that the extremists on the left have made me and probably others move to the right on certain subjects.

I don't understand how no one remembers what it was like for themselves growing up. We spend half of our Lives figuring out who we are and the other half making sure we stick by what we believe. Even if you don't have children and don't realize the phases that they go through, How can you not remember what it was like for yourself?
I got it...Nobody wants to remember their past because we are made to believe that our upbringing was "so bad". Parents buy their kid almost anything they want. No matter the cost. This week my pastor was talking about present issues we are dealing with as it relates to what the Bible says. He made a comment that men are men and women are women as God created us. The entire congregation burst into applause. It was really awesome. I do want to add that my pastor went on to say that the best way to deal with this issue is the way Jesus dealt with the issues of His day. To speak the truth always, but to do in in a loving but firm way.

Many people, myself included, just prefer arriving to our own opinions without feeling strong loyalty or the need to conform to an existing set of views laid out by a particular side/ party.
As someone who does have anxiety and depression, it always ticks me off when people flaunt those terms around like they’re the latest Nike shoes. It’s not cool, it’s a serious medical issue.
I've been a lifelong sufferer of anxiety (due to a genetic metabolic condition I have, it's one of the many side effects.. there's a lot of science behind it but it's boring) but my point is that I don't tell anyone and I don't let it define me. I'm just a "normal" guy on the face of it.

You can have a character suffering from those types of issues, and while the story is about how they're working through them, and how having such issues doesn't devalue you as a person, they idolize having them in the first place.
