The Tiya people will ask you if you want them to do the clearance for you. If you decide to let them handle it then you will pay to them so they handle everything for you. Most people have their own agents that's why they leave that as an option for you 😊

The buy now price was USD 1,550.00 so I contacted him and gave him the stock Id. He asked me if I was ready to deposit and quoted a whopping GHC 32,000.00 (USD 5, 423.00 @ exchange rate of 5.9) as the amount required to buy and ship this vehicle that had a buy now price of just USD 1,500.00. Is it that I did get something right or what? When I asked he told me it includes taxes and services charges.
If i get the explanation correct, the amount you were asked to pay includes custom charges , shipment, a agent fees etc. That can reach the amount they quoted for you. Just ask for the breackdown of the charges

Estimated retail value = is there to give you information as to how much the car will sell for on the market without bidding.
Bidding is an offer you will make on the vehicle. Normally you have multiple people offering their price. The bidding will have a expiring date and time so when the time ⏲️ expires, the user with the highest offered price of the car wins.
