I just finished put the tethered american flag on my f150 tailgate and man it looks good 👍. 1st time doing this and there are a few wrinkles and bubbles but it looks awesome. Thanks inshane designs

I'd hate to do something like that out side, no shop. And some areas like the tail gate would be a real pain to do because of how oddly shaped they are. I'm sure someone like yourself could do it, but I'm more of a wrench guy then a wrap guy haha.

What printers do you use, especially for the vinyl wraps? I was looking at the HP Latex 365 just can't stomach the $20K + Price tag to start up. But I guess if that is what you have to do that is what you have to do...

I am contemplating on getting my ford excursion wrapped by you. What kind of cost am I looking at for a full body wrap on a vehicle that is that large? I have so many questions on durability, maintenance, etc. to decide if a wrap is the best option to go with for my truck.
You should make a hood wrap in this design as well, I like the tattered flag you have on your website but I like this one better!

Just rubbed my finger over it. It has built in air release technology so no air bubbles ever.

Those tailgate bezels and handles are a breeze to disassemble.
I'm no expert and installing graphics on vehicles but that just seems like it would help tremendously.

Nice job! Is there a way to scale the flag a bit to conform to the space, so the star field is smaller, and the # of stripes are correct, or would it look to distorted. This was the idea I had a few months ago for the tattered flag, if you recall.
It might look a little distorted but i am working on the design to make it perfect. This was just a quick prototype to see how it would look.
Good. Watching this video, it confirmed that applying the flag to the tailgate would be much easier than the hood, even by yourself. I suppose if you couldn't take the tailgate cap off, you could leave about 1/4" of material , and tuck it underneath with a thin applicator card.

So I bought the fringe flag and did it like this and I could not left it like your doing once down it was done so some spots stayed on the paper other spots just tore. The tire spot and others I pc back in

PS remember guys that is a fresh made wrap and mine was in a tube for some time before I wrap my hood on my 07 suburban
So I think the glue stick to the sticker more then the backing
Anyone notice the blue line is in the wrong spot, or that the flag is missing stripes? I would have taken the time to remove the handle as well to make the vinyl go behind it. Even if it would only be a little bit behind the trim.

Im curious why you dont use soapy water as a barrier between the vehicle and the wrap to ensure no bubbles? Doing it dry like that results in a lot of bubbles, evident on the blue line, that soapy water would have eliminated. Just a thought...

We never do a wet application with the products we use. Technology in our material is top notch. No need for the mess.
Curious as why you didn't do the top half first as gravity would have helped doing the bottom half secondly

Nice technique for the vinyl but the only thing I would say is that if you are going to rock the American flag, make sure you display it properly. You got yourself a 10 stripe flag there... its oversized for that tailgate.

Someone at home doing it the first time might have better luck removing the tailgate from the truck (2 bolts) and removing the tailgate handle (1-2 bolts) so they can do it indoors and not have to cut as precisely.
