Hi, 2 speakers will always give you an increase in loudness :) aprox 3DB increase. Stereo Pair also gives you the proper stereo image, which is why I have 2 :) they sound amazing when set up correctly.
With a low end frequency of 23hz 😮 these can make you dance 😂 though max spl is around 95db. Still for a small flat perfect. I also have Wharfdale Xaurus 5000 + Wiim Amp, spl around 100db, low frequency around 30hz but it shakes even on 90w Rms of power. The Wiim amp for me with the tower speakers, was the price of 1 sonus speaker and has far superior sound.
