Hey cuz !!! After all this rain,,, will the fishing be any good on the river Saturday? I fish the pool from Little Rock to Jefferson. Any tips on where to find em. Shallow,deep ??
If it comes up above the jetties it wont be good. Best bet a lake somewhere. If it stays up a while, then a few days after the tributaries settle down would be my next choice.. thanks for watching!
I'd say not yet but, I'm in arkansas. If you want a more knowledgeable person about the Illinois river I would watch Rods fishing adventures. I believe he fishes it quite a bit. I'm sure he'd help you out. Thanks for watching!
@@edooutdoors316 there are 2 different species of crappie, black and white. Those black crappie lose their spots in that cold creek water. Keep them on the stringer and they will be back. It’s magic lol
@@903fishing thanks for the excellent explanation! To be honest I never heard the words crappie, white bass, drum, bowfin, flat heads till I left the state of louisiana in the 80's. They were white perch, bar fish, goo, grinnell and opelousas cat from the old timers lol.

Really hard to say, all a person could do is go and see if they are there. Definately need some warmer weather

Your right, there a lot of them around here. I like catching them but not when targeting crappie, which is pretty much all the time lol!
