I think you’re the first TH-camrs to come up with a pocket square made of scrap yarn! I love to make things from scrap yarn. If you have enough, you can make it coordinated so it doesn’t look like planned out. Thank you for referring people to your other videos. So often I get turned off because a video goes at snail speed cause they’re instructing basic skills . I’m not trying to sound like a witch, it just gets frustrating to those of us that are more experienced. Plus, it’s better to learn the stitches before trying a project. It leads to less frustration. Thanks.

Thank you very much! I would be careful when washing. You can tie the fringe in sections at the bottom so that doesn't unravel or get messed up. :)

I love patterns using scrap yarn. They can be so unique, even one of a kind! Plus they’re fun since you can’t predict the outcome!, I have a bin that size just of green scrap yarn. Green’s not even my favorite color! Lol!,

Could you please tell me how wide your shawl is I'm in England and I find our yarn seems to crochet up different to yours sometimes great tutorial
My shawl came out to about 14” wide at row 14. But you came make it any width with more or less rows.

Hi! My new videos will have subtitles. For this pattern I chained 180 for long shawl, 160 for shorter. Any multiple of two is fine :)

Does all the scrap yarn have to be the same texture or the same brand?
It’s good to use yarns of the same weight or thickness. Brand doesn’t matter, texture maybe as this usually effects the thickness

I used mostly worsted weight, a few bulky and sport weight mixed in to. It does help to use mostly all the same weight.
