Girl pls get some protective gear!!! at least some knee or wrist guards, and learn the correct falling techniques! It’ll help so much! Cute skates aswell!
I just bought these exact same skates off amazon as well and I MUST ADVISE THAT THESE ARE NOT GOOD BEGINNER SKATES. I think u should also change the wheels because those are for advanced dance skating and tricks and stuff. You need a thicker not rounded on the side type of wheel but definitely a urethane or poly wheel. I’m really scared though because you said you ordered an 8 and you wear a 7.5...... I wear an 8 but my feet are skinny lol but 😭😭😭 if I have to send them back
1 - There is NO such thing as a beginner skatE...only a beginner skatER. 2 - The wheels are a 78A...classic durometer for an outdoor skate. 3 - "Rounded on the edge" wheels are best for speed...but anyone can really use ANY wheel. That's not going to matter. 4 - Wheels are either plastic (children's skates - and shouldn't even be used by kids), urethane (any outdoor skating), or hybrid (park skating) for outdoor. Polyurethane is for indoor skating.
@@MystiqueRisingSun I'm actually thinking they're hybrid since the discrimination for them says they're indoor/outdoor wheels (or at lest at the time of my order) Which means there probably hybrids, and not really the best at that. Better hybrids can be found that offer a smoother ride, and more grip. These really do have either imo. Great for inside though.
@@_IVXX Hybrid wheels either have no durometer (because it's a fully mixed duro wheel - two compounds of the same color but different duro's are blended together) or they'll have two (one for the outer edge, one for the main part of the wheel). The first is easy to know...since there's no durometer listed. The second is usually poured so that there are 2 different colors denoting where each section is so, very easy to spot. Wheels marked "Indoor/Outdoor" can range from a 78 up to a 96...but do have a duro on them. The issue with those marked as indoor/outdoor is that not all are. True outdoor wheels range from a 78A up to an 88A.
Love this video!! I was looking for info about these skates and someone one reddit sent me the link for this vid, definately post update video (or post to insta haha) because I'd definately love to see how you're doing a few weeks later! Progress update!! :) Keep making vids you're doing great!
I would hesitate to call anything a newbie talks about a review. You can only really review skates after skating aggressively in them for a while. A ton of new skaters made _reviews_ on impala skates not knowing that the boots fall apart after you've skated aggressively in them (~3 months).
@@alexatorres6248 I guess I read the description and took it too seriously. A check of the channel history tells me a little about the weight of the opinion/first impressions.
So excited for you though! You might now be as bad of a skater as you think u just have to get used to ur skates. I hope u get some knee pads and elbow pads because I can assure you that you will take some spills as you learn and I’d hate for you to get hurt. Keep practicing girl u got this!!
Phoenix Fire Thank you!! And I’ve definitely gotten used to them now! I used to be really good at skating but I haven’t skated in YEARS so I’m quite a bit rusty lol...I’ll probably end up doing an update video and a review on the skates so make sure to be on the look out for that video coming soon!
omgeevie I’m in the same place! I used to do derby racing and I could do cartwheels and stuff. But I was 17-25 then and I’m 39 now so yes I can relate to being rusty. Girl my skates came early and I was walking my dog and found myself speeding down a hill that curves at about 35 mph if not faster( it was faster) slammed into someone’s garbage can cuz that’s all I could find to stop me( I hadn’t made any adjustments to my skates yet) cuz my toe stops were too high and if I had tried to use them I would’ve caught air and broke my face. So I crash into a garbage bin and roll like a tumbleweed down a desert hill until I slide through my neighbors grass with the wind knocked out of me. All I could think about was getting to my dog though. Needless to say I’m fucked up and I’m not putting my skates back on u til I make the proper adjustments. Don’t pull a me! Wear protective gear and be safe. I’d love to see your update video. ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽💚💚💚

Not bad for your first time skating! You should post an update on your skate progress 🛼😊
Just found your channel and was looking forward to more videos....but there aren’t any ☹️ Hope everything’s OK.
Whaaat, if i heard bout these sooner would’ve bought these on Amazon and saved a few bucks

Hi I just got my roller skates too! I’ve just subscribed to you. You’re definitely better than I am xx
Carrie Ann Hahah thank you!!!
What did you use to tighten/adjust your wheels?
I’m actually not sure what it was called, I got it from my dads toolbox lol. I can figure out what the name of it is for you though
Hi! Are the wheels hard plastic or rubber?
They’re rubber!
You are too funny...and I love it 😀
How much were they?
Let's ride out Nice Parks here where I live
Quick question, do they roll easily or no ?
Alejandra Chavarria Yes, they roll very easily
great video!!!
Great job
Hi 👋 Gorgeous 💕 I like the 🆕 Skates

Yes I completely agree with you. Hence why I have not made a actual review on them yet. I want to skate in them for a while before I make the review
That's why this is an UNBOXING. I would also call it a FIRST IMPRESSION...

Im sad.mp4 Thank you!! 💗
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that was 2 cute
I like her socks in her skates where they thick ones
would you recommend sizing up?
Alliyah Marshall Yes I would recommend getting at least 1 size up. I wear a 7&1/2 and I got an 8 and it was a little tight
@@omgeevie9173 thank you!
Alliyah Marshall Of course!
If you haven’t ordered then yet I would recommend getting your actual size. You have BREAK INTO your skates.
Jaz Jillette If i were to order my size, I would not have been able to put them on at all.
I guess the name means ''beautiful''?! 😊
Actually...it does. Just take out all the vowels...BeauTiFuL
This very good keep it going flowing, moving, and rocking,🤔😇😎👌👋👍🙏🌄🎆. also wear loose fitting socks. 🧦 so that you feels comfortable.
