Curious what lug nuts you used for the factory steel wheels? Thanks man, truck looks amazing. Just got 4 steel wheels from the junkyard!

I got some black bulge acorn lug nuts off amazon

@@Drewsoffroadgarage Sorry to bother you, but if you could send a link that would be much appreciated. All the lug nuts i find on amazon say for after market wheels, or not for tundra OEM wheels. Is the 60 degree diagonal acorn the right nut? Thanks dude!
BTW, cant wait to see your winch video on how you installed your HF winch plate and winch!

No problem! These are the ones I use and have had no issues with them for four years. They don’t say they fit Toyota oem wheels because the alloy wheels have a different lug nut design than the steel wheels.

Honestly, 11mpg is not bad! I was expecting 8ish.

Hey man I had a question about your winch setup. Do you think the winch plate could be mounted on the bottom of the metal front omt bumper? Just like you have it but on the bottom. Maybe hollow out the metal front bumper to make room for the winch and to hide it kind of like a hidden winch mount. I've heard a winch mount plate could possibly even be bolted to the existing tow hook points

Forgot to mention but the newer double cab tundras have a slightly different metal front bumper. It's longer and also its flat on the front instead of having that horizontal divet thing. So I'd imagine it could be doable?

@@rickymedina7563I think it’s definitely possible to mount the winch plate on the underside of the frame. The only issue I could see it interfering with the front skid plate. Also I doubt the plate could bolt into the existing tow points. The tow points seem to be too far back on the frame

There's a company that makes a winch plate for the first gen tundras, and it hides the winch behind the stock bumper

I’m about an hour southeast of Memphis and looking for a 4wd samurai or 2door tracker if you know of any that are decent.
