    Any chance you could go over your rear hitch/bumper setup a little more in depth? Like how you did the rear bumper? I'm planning on doing something custom, maybe modifying the stock hitch to be up higher while welding on some tubing for the rear bumper

    Hey bud, I have a 2004 DC and have 285/70/17. I want to go to bigger but don’t want full size 35s. I don’t want to run spacers and such. I have been lookjng at the 255/85/17 baja boss they are a 10ply. If that’s not gonna be a good idea id go 285/75/17 which is basically 34in vs my 33s. My 33s perform well but just look small on my truck. Do suggest the 255/85/17 or 285/75/17? Just want to hear your opinion. Thank!

    • @Drewsoffroadgarage
      @Drewsoffroadgarage 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      In my opinion I would go with the 255/85/17. The 255 tires and the 285 will be similar in weight even though the 255 will be around an inch taller. The 255 will also fit easier since it is narrower tire which would mean less rolling resistance which would help with power and mpg loss.

      @@Drewsoffroadgarage thanks for the feedback! Ya, I think I’ll give them a try. The 285 only weighs 57lb and the 255 weighs 65lb. Only now actually building yota axles not just stock ones for no reason. And your mounts are not stout enough if you actually offroad once again. And its way too tall, just figured id let ya know.

    Hello, a warm greeting fro the province of Pontassieve in Florence, Italy. I am the respected owner of a Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 with a m13a 1.3 LT petrol engine, petrol, completely original, year 2001. In fact, it is completely original, which I often drive on country and forest roads, and with the appropriate mud tires it will do well too. The Suzuki Jimmy 4x4, although completely original, I see it in its natural habitat when I approach country agricultural and forest roads that are used by logging companies to transport wood in logging trucks.

Ive decided on doing a winch plate and winch setup just like yours. My question is were your two radiator hoses coming up right at the front, is there enough room behind the winch plate for those or did you have to notch out the winch plate? Its pretty well covered up in your video so i couldnt see, but it does look like the winch plate is very close to the body of the truck which i assume would pinch those two radiator hoses, thanks man!
