    I find it fascinating how much they havent changed over time.. I have a 2014 F3 Agostini Edition (1 of 300 worldwide) and seems (especially after your comments) they still have the exact same rubbish mirrors, the same tail taidy, exactly the same body work, motor (even the fuse box design and placement) and the same dry weight. This could be considered "lazy" for number of manufacturers, however mine has the same howl, the same feeling of being super special and the same hunger for the bends. I'm 6'1 so it feels small, cramped, rist-ey, and uncomfortable and I F*****G love it!! I have a V4 Streetfighter as well which i love, but the F3 feels like going on a date with Kate Beckinsale every time i fire it up... You can have my F3 when you pry the keys out of my cold, dead hands!!!!

      Perhaps they are finding it very had to improve on something thats almost perfect !!! Motor is different & better.

    Fantastic review. I have its older big sister (F4 RR) and I am so happy with it. I think MV is the bike you get once you ridden most everything else and you crave something different and unique.

      So I fell in love with MV over the triples. I didn’t even know they had inline 4 versions for quite a while. As a result I’m afraid somehow I’m forever sticking to the triples. That’s part of what makes it exotic to me I guess. And it’s my first MV love story. Does that make any sense? I feel weird for not lusting over the i4 MV’s but despite being better bikes that makes them too “normal” for me somehow

    Great review & a beautiful bike. Personally I'd go for the lower spec version & I get what you're saying about the lack of electronic suspension etc considering the price. However I much prefer manually adjustable suspension as the electronic stuff is just too expensive & less flexible & sensitive imo.

    Great review of a bike not many will see out in the wild. I think Suzuki is missing a trick not having the GSXR750 in the line up. Saying that with the currant problems they have, we wont be seeing anything new or even refreshed for quite some time.

    • @michaelarchangel1163
      @michaelarchangel1163 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree. A GSXR 750 may not have the bling factor of this MV but they were cast iron reliable. I never heard any reports of the Suzukis jumping out of gear, to name but one issue that's plagued this manufacturer in the very recent past.

      Probably emissions regulations. A 14k rpm redline with anything less than a 1.2L engine probably wouldn't meet euro5. It's the reason the panigale has constanly gone up in displacement

    I’ve always wanted one, but I’ve waited so long that I’m a bit frightened it’ll feel like a let down…..kinda like meeting your heroes.
    I was really keen to try all the above, and mostly as good as I’d hoped, but had high expectations disappointed by the all the Triumphs and Aprilias I’ve ridden.
    You mention the engaging ride of the MV, so maybe it’ll be fine.

    Without doubt a lovely looking machine and the colour is superb. However as it has anti wheelie feature do you have the habit of crouching forward when you open her up or is the bike raising the front end till the anti wheelie cuts in? Definitely some ups and downs related to the throttle!! 😄

    If my experience of the ownership of many Duclatteries is anything to go by -
    A, never take it out in the wet
    B, always carry a bag for life to carry all the bits that will undoubtedly fall off
    C, make sure your breakdown insurance is comprehensive and up to date.
    D, try wherever possible to reign in the toothy grin that only the owners of Italian bike owners are afflicted by.

      Being on the right side isn't great either, though you quickly get used to it and it's not a problem. Not having a resume option sucks though. At least with my TV, it also turns off when cornering at a fairly mild lean, in my opinion. I've just taken to hanging off to moderate the lean to workaround that issue.
