you can make friends in the UAE, but you will need to be an Arab, Indian or Filipino in order to do this.
@@douglasscovil3447 C'mon... I had plenty of Western friends, plenty easy to make friends there, did you actually try talking with people there and hanging out with them on weekends? I mean I might be slightly biased as an Arab, but it's plenty easy to make friends, spoke to this dude for 5 minutes, and all I knew him for was 5 minutes before we decided to go grab breakfast together and grab a coffee while he spoke to me about his entire divorce story and gave me plenty of life advice, phenomenal dude, hope he's doing well.
@@douglasscovil3447 you can make friends depending on your interest: artists meet in al serkal, fitness buffs from the gym, even skateboarding and parkour, fishing as a past time one will meet more, cycling enthusiast, and zumba or yoga circles in Dubai

on my to do list is returning to KL this year.
I wouldn't rule out Muscat, Oman. Its an awesome place too when compared to Dubai, really chill and great ,great infrastructure, plenty of natural beauty & friendly people too.
Thank you Sir!!
Really good points here
I’ve watched lots of these videos but this one gave me some very valuable info
Glad to hear it!
I am Malaysian and love your videos but other than knowledge of options, I don't see myself exercising the options available elsewhere for now. I am happy to pay my taxes in Malaysia for now. 😊. But of course things can change and it is always good to have options. I just hope it's not in my lifetime. Keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you.
I have an amazing job offer in Malaysia. I was wondering, what are the benefits regarding taxes in Malaysia? If I may ask.

Kenya wtf. Like in my class so many of them are in Europe. They never wanna go back
I am Australian living in Dubai and honestly I’m here for 2 reasons 1. I don’t pay income tax here but get hammered in Australia and 2. It’s extremely safe. You can walk the streets at anytime day or night and no one will even talk to you. But you can never become a citizen here, which makes it a little unstable, even though you can get 10 year visas.

Good video. One problem with Dubai is realtors do not call back or simply do not show up to appointments unless you have a lot of money, like more then $10 million. That's my friend's experience, anyway. He thought about buying there but got so turned off, he bought and moved somewhere else where realtors are more attentive to customers.
You keep putting Dublin on those lists, and as someone who lived there I find it ridiculous to even mention that country if you value freedom 🤯
I’m originally from Dublin. Left a long time ago and couldn’t agree more with you.
He was wandering around Dublin 4 yesterday so I guess he looking to make it one of his bases hence why it keeps popping up on his lists.
Yes andrew spoke on his enjoyment of ireland in previous videos. It's definitely a top candidate for him to plant a "flag", if he hasn't already done
so spot on you are!
“Ireland is about to pass one of the most radical hate speech bills yet. Merely possessing "hateful" material on your devices is enough to face prison time.
Not only that, but the burden of proof is shifted to the accused, who is expected to prove they didn't intend to use the material to "spread hate". This clause is so radical that even the Trotskyist People Before Profit opposed it as a flagrant violation of civil liberties. Dark times.” Just copy-pasted this from source
What a wonderful video with your valuable insights. Hope that you and your team have had another success at the Nomad Capitalist Live event in KL 2024.
Malaysia are good because near Singapore/Indonesia/Thailand/Japan/China
Go vacation to Singapore , party in Bali Indonesia , explore Thailand , visit culture temple in Japan , go to China also
For information
Singapore/Indonesia/Malaysia are same ethnicity
cheap flights too some flights from KL to Singapore cost less than $5 a few years ago

@@kamrulz659true. Europe overall is enjoyable but way too expensive
i live in dubai 8 years its very safe and the service is probaly the best in the world alos tax benefits of course but the down side is its very expensive and no nature
I would never move to a desert . It’s nothing personal
Spend some time in KL, Malaysia then. You will impress with the nature around the capital city.
people live 6 months in Dubai and travel quite often and leave in summer... so if I had to live without nature 5 months... I wouldnt care
Singapore, Malaysia, Monaco, Dublin, Milan ❤ India
Dubai is the safest place to be no pickpocketing also like other places... Security and place is safe from natural disasters like floods earthquakes or wild fires.
Floods lol. This comment didn't age well 😂
Lol, rain has sunk Dubai and world war 3 just kicked off with Israel just having attacked Iran.
Not floods😂
I haven’t been to Kuala Lumpur since 2014 but at the time I was there was pretty ugly and there wasn’t much to do. I wouldn’t consider it. Singapore is beautiful but I think I would spend a lot too. You have the 4 seasons within a day in Ireland, I would take that out of the equation as well.
I moved to Qatar from Singapore, and I absolutely Love it
Do you have PR though?

It's great for half the year. Of all the places ive lived so far KL wins by a long shot.
Thanks!
Nomad Capitalist,
I have a question. Do you recommend Mauritius as a place to go?
Malaysia is really credible.
We have talked about Mauritius in this video: th-cam.com/video/kD4wrRWHuzI/w-d-xo.html

Thanks a lot Sir
No mention of Doha, Qatar?
In Malaysia, you can live like a KING with an income of 5000USD per month.
The up-market lifestyles in Dubai won't be the same if you earn 5000USD per month !😊
But you can earn more in dubai
any given time i can squeeze more value from 5k USD living in Dubai than any place on earth. and with the peace and order guaranteed one will definitely feel like a king.
I'm french lived in ireland for 12 years and left to bahrain 2 years ago. Ireland is a way too expensive now and the tax are quite high people are also more and more racist out there . Bahrain is very small affordable and the real estate very affordable . Its safe and people are overall friendly
Good to know excellent English in Dublin
Hey! what do you think about Andorra in terms of what you mentioned in this video?
What about Thailand because Thailand offers elite program and cost of living is much lower then Dubai Singapore and Bahrain
I think because the food is bad 😂,that's why it's not talked about.

Milan and Dubai are not comparable at all. The tax system in Italy is one of the most difficult to work with
What about Cyprus?
What's your thoughts on Andorra?
Sorry to tell you , italy is very unfriendly and Bureaucratic country , am so surprised you listed italy in your recommendations , within Europe italy will be in the bottom
Sorry but an Arab like you can’t talk about Europe. Focus on your muslim country
What about the spanish islands baleric and canary islands
US taxes your global income per my understanding. So, what really is the tax advantage from moving or investing abroad?
you will need to renounce your U.S. citizenship like NC did to be able to take advantage of these tax haven countries.

As I understand per US law they tax upto 10 years after someone renounces their citizenship.
Don't be mislead by "no tax" in freezones. The second you invoice anyone in the mainland - you do have to pay tax, provided that you have reached the threshold
You should talk about Malta.
Why I still getting the vibe Dubai is better than other options u r giving in as a whole 😊

Hello Andrew, what country in Africa should I consider?
Hey, if you're considering investments in Africa, we recommend checking out this article: nomadcapitalist.com/finance/top-10-friendly-countries-to-invest-in-africa/

Most of Europe seemingly not a good place to invest or stay in the near future considering the geopolitical situation we are in. The Ukraine War effect most of the European countries economically. IMF predicts Germany and the UK will be in recession this year while many others are in very slow economic growth
Europe is going to collapse economically considering the „ green“ agenda being slowly but surely being put in place.
Russian war on Ukrainian territory
Ukraine war is not what's really affecting the EU. It's the self-sanctions it placed on itself while being largely reliant on Russia for energy, natural gas, and fertiliser. Simple economics.
Thanks for rhis great information 😊

What about taxations in Malaysia for remote workers??
The issue with housing is space in cities. In the suburbs, they are fantastic
Excellent advice but we can think on your opinion,

Dubai is a place without soul, filled by temporary people. It is not so hard to find better plase to live.
Move to Pattaya. Not for tax purposes though. But for the fun
If it is Irland must it be Dublein then ? and what will the taxes be there ? Malasya and Switzerland is the option i think about the have more green areas / nature the Dubaie

This may have been covered in another video, but given US persons’ special circumstances, where are some good considerations? Also, since you have (had?) ties to Istanbul, how would you rate it? Personally, I’ve found Turkey to be quite difficult to do business in. Thanks
Not just because ot Tax, but also because of Regulatory over-reach of arbitrary western Governments that make silly laws on the slightest whim.
You think the UAE is exempt from that? Lol
As much as I agree with you on Western government overreach, I don’t think an Arab emirate in the middle of the desert could possibly be any better!

Hard to get into. High humidity. Many Locals will always resent you for not doing national service. Your children will have to do national service.
