Blind Guardian, formerly known as "Lucifer's Heritage", is relinquishing stage shows. Their worlds of imagery are exclusively musical, which makes them no less effective: with string sounds and double bass thunder, the formation around Hansi Kürsch takes their audience to peaceful heights ("Bard's Song") or to the battlefield tumble Lord of The Rings “).
Blind Guardian are fans of Heroic Fantasy and in particular of the High Priest of the genre J.R.R. Tolkien. These magical worlds are reflected in their discography, from Battalions of Fear (1989) to the long-awaited Twilight Orchestra: Legacy of the Dark Lands (2019).
In Clisson, the band from Krefeld at Hellfest shows all the power of their Power Metal: Their concert comes without orcs, elves and dwarfs and still creates a powerful mood.
