  • In this video I will show you how I make a pair of wire wrapped earrings using some copper washers for accent!
I made 3 beaded dangles for each earring but you can change it up to fit your liking. For example you can use just one dangle or several if you want to go with a "Cha Cha" look!
To make the ear wires I used in this video check this out:

Love the earrings. I bought a set of copper washers after watching a couple of videos using them. I have only made a couple pair of earrings with them so far. I think they make beautiful jewelry. The options are endless.

Very cool earrings. ❤ the turquoise and wood together. The copper makes it look so pretty. Who knew washers made such pretty jewelry? Need to snag some washers. 😊

Very nice! The hand beaten effect gives it a primitive tribal look, a strong sense of design. Love the dangles.
Yes, I have washers. I buy them on Amazon, not marked up like Michaels. You can get them in copper and zinc alloys for a silver look. Love them!!! I have jewelry lessons free for my neighborhood kids (the well behaved ones!), and the boys love to hammer the washers! Nice to hang a few on a leather choker for the boys. For girls they can make pendants with them.
For myself, I like to make them in to chains using hammered copper jump rings I make with thick wire. The effect is very sculptural for some chunky pendants in ceramic or metal. Earrings look lovely with the hammered look as it catches light and bounces it all over. I wonder if you could use stamping on the washers too, for more texture. I have to try it on zinc first.

Stamping sounds great! I don’t have any stamp sets so let me know how it goes!! 💜

Many Thxs Melissa for this tutorial and All that you do! I like the way the earrings turned out and I like your selection of beads! The turquoise beads really bring out the design! Lovely! I love the idea of using washers in Jewelry design. I purchased some washers some time ago and still need to use them in jewelry making. Because, I am a beginner, next time please show on camera the side of the hammer you are using please. There are a lot of different hammers out there. Looking forward to viewing more of your videos in the future. Blessings.❤️🙏🏽❤️

Gorgeous earrings with an element of fun. 😍 You are my favorite jewelry artist on TH-cam! 🙂 I'm newer to the jewelry creating world and I'm not brave enough to buy sterling silver yet. 😜 I've made a few items with copper washers so far. (I got the idea from you a few months ago and purchased some) Thank you for your videos. 💚
