You know, Kion was lucky. He had caring friends and family to help him, whereas when Scar got his snakebite Mufusa just brushed him off.
The Lion Guard one is the most canon one. Solid Proof: Scar gave Kion the same scar, and Rafiki said he had seen this type of injury before. This means even Rafiki knew that Scar had venom in his scar, and Kion had the same cobra venom, but from Ushari.

I really don’t like the lion guard version. It completely ruins scars character! Making snake venom able to turn lions evil makes it so scar wasn’t actually the scheming wicked mastermind we know and love to hate. It completely ruins his motivation!
Scar didn’t deserve it every single villain in everything always has a tragic past which makes them become the person they are
i agree with you with scar but say a villain like Claude Frollo for example he's pure evil and we don't exactly know his past.
The Lion Guard continuity gives a better understanding as to when, why, and how Scar got his injury and nickname. For starters, it’s actually linked to the original Lion King storyline.
The spin-off comic series, “Disney Villains: Scar”, even reveals that Scar and Rafiki used to be good friends before the lion became what he is now.
i like the lion graud, the venom didnt make scar evil, scar didnt fight it and gave in to his dark side. Kion got the same venom and fought to say true to who he was, didnt turn evil. Scars Ego is what made him a villain, the venom just helped in that.

What if Scar quoted Mufusa when he said “Long live the king”, right before killing him? Like, what if that’s what Mufusa said after Scar felt forced to leave the pride lands?
Disney should make a movie to finalize and confirm the backstory behind Scar and actually answer a lot of questions but still go along with what they have in the lion guard

The venom didn’t turn him evil. The evil was there from the start. The venom was just the fuse that ignited the powder keg.

I personally believe Ahadi their father was the one that gave Taka a scar at a young age. He was also neglected by his father and Ahadi favored Mufasa to be the next heir to the throne. Scar had Sarabi first when they were younger until Mufasa took her away from him. Uru their mother was the only one that cared and understood Scar. Sarafina use to like Scar because she always understood him, also Zira. It’s a personal rivalry between the two brothers and I’ve written my own version of what I think happened between the two brothers.

I prefer the idea of Ahadi giving Taka his scar after he befriended the hyenas. It's not really canon, but meh, I like it.
Plus, the snake venom theory sounds really forced and like a cheap shot rather than him growing up as being second to Mufasa.

@@ajflo5097 the lion guard season 3 episode two Scar says when he was a cub he was leader of his lion guard and one day he went out on his own and he met a strange lion who betrayed him and he had a snake bite Scar on his eye and the same thing happened to Keon

A Tale of Two Brothers is definitively non-canon. Disney never confirmed that the Lion Guard is non-canon, although it has some plot holes. Even Scar Comic isn't confirmed by Disney to be canon, but I don't know if in that comic was revelead how he got his scar(please don't spoil that).
I prefer the idea that Mufasa gave him his scar.
There is nothing creepy about what Scar said Sarabi, that's just how Lions get down.

It's obvious as the nose plain on your face that these brothers had some rivalry, not necessarily as enemies in youth. My guess is that Mufasa gave him the scar when "Scar" refused to back down and it was a resort to put him in his place.

Or his father did it because of that and stepped in to prevent Scar from hurting Mufasa and gave him his scar. Plus wouldn't snake venom that close to his eye cause blindness? It doesn't even look like a snake bite.

I think back to when the MOVie says "i wouldnt dream of ever challenge you" as meaning Scar and Mufassa fought before...the movie tells you...confirmed...done.

He doesn't say 'again' when he confronts mufasa he said 'I wouldn't dream of challenging you' in a calm yet mocking tone then he says something about having the brains but mufasa has brute strength so he's at 'the shallow end of the dreampool' as he quotes

Scar was butthurt about being second born and not being physically gifted enough to do anything about it. Ego was ultimately what got him scarred and was his downfall
the snake one seems most realistic because of how his eyes are colored compared to all the other lions and is seen in his song with a bunch of green smoke

I like the second story about how Scar got his scar Scar was a very selfish lion.
I’ve heard of one more theory that his father gave it to him. I really like the lion guard one. It makes the most sense to me, but it would also make sense if his abusive dad gave it to him and that’s what killed his mother.
Videos like this remind me of Lucien from the Underworld series. You think he’s the bad guy until you watch Rise of the Lycans.

There is one more when he was young his dad who hates him found out he was hanging out with Heynes and scratched his eye leaving a scar for life but his mother did not like her son scard so she so she banished his father who came Back sometimes only to hang out with mufasa
His dad did that because his mom saw him crying and sad and she ask him let me show u something and they walk and she d*e and he came back without his mom and his dad give him the scar and kick him out of the land and when his brother came the king and his brother bring him back to the land and when scar when a kid he like her but his brother find out and started hanging out with her and steal her from scar and she got feelings for the new king and always say so what im going be the king and always remember scar he going be king and scar got tired of it and didn't hang with them for few days or weeks or months and he went to the Outlands and meet them and they be came friends and scar dad saw him hang out with her and yelled at him for going there and scar started hang out with the girls and his brother again and scar started to like the another girl and they got a cub and and got a another cub with a another girl and books say its scar cub but they blocked it because it would be weird for scar nephew to date and have kids with his cousins so they blocked it and say she had the cub with a different lion who work with scar or a another cub when they was young or a lion who was walking by and I hope they make the 2 one like the first one the real life one like the first but its the 2 one

As bad as we want a storyline there is no actual true story line. The lion guard story just something to throw out there but the original writer do not have a story line.
