Extremely detailed and informative. He explains every direction so well and provides reasoning on how and why to do it this way which allows you to retain the information. Thank you!!!
I hope to be this good eventually. I have been doing my own nails for years just from what I have watched while others did my nails. These videos have answered SOOOOO many questions. I’m soo grateful I accidentally found this channel. You are all fantastic at explaining everything to the smallest detail. Thank you so much for your time and efforts.
Thank you! Sooo clearly explained with patients nice and slow. Watching and listening to you is like a one on one lesson versus sitting in a class and it being taught in a rushing trough manner. GREAT TEACHER!!!!!
My god Greg, you just never stop perfecting..!!! I know how to Ombre, they turn out fantastic, you have just elevated it again..!!! Reinforcing that blend throughout the process... just damm smart! So now when you file in, absolutely no chance of seeing a line, it's just blend, after blend, after blend.. Genius!! Positively Genius!! As always, thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you so much for your videos! My recent allergy to HEMA has opened up the world of acrylics to me. It has been a frustrating adventure trying to find HEMA free products up here in Alaska. However, I finally found a monomer I can use, and your videos help me learn easily what I need to know to get back to my favorite hobby! Thank you so much again!!🎉
Our monomer and powders from both our original line and new extreme low odor line are hema free. If you ever want to try them out, you can contact our customer service team to place an order. Business hours are M-F 8:15 am - 5 pm PST. Contact customer service at 1.800.777.9170 or by email at info@youngnails.com
I really thank you for this. Because of this video i was able to do an ombré perfectly with both acrylics perfectly merged i should’ve watched your video sooner.
When applying your product at the cuticle area, you want to make sure the finger is angled downward so you can press the cuticle area. This will keep it nice and thin at the cuticle but thicker toward the stress area. Make sure to watch the section in this video around 7:45 and this will show you the proper finger and brush position. If you do get the cuticle area too thick, you can file it down, but the more filing you do, the more this can lead to lifting.
what are the differences in sanding bits ? for example the bit you used to remove the shine from the nail what is the difference from those kinds of sanding bits ?
Sanding bands can have different grits just like hand files do. We always use a 150 grit sanding band for prep. We will attach a video where we explain the difference in grits of hand files. th-cam.com/video/1VGSL049ils/w-d-xo.html

First, I love love all of your products and videos, Greg. But the fad of the film jumping is hard on my eyes. Can I say that? I know it’s a fad, but perhaps on the technical training videos (with no talking heads in it,) 😉would you guys consider keeping it steady on? Thanks for considering this and my wonky eyes. 😂 I’m here til the fads gone so no biggie. ❤
These nail school videos are posted from when Greg goes live on TikTok or Instagram which is why it had those cuts like that. We have many great demos that are filmed with our camera and edited that don’t have those cuts.

Wow nice job I love it
Awesome. ❤ you Greg! Love all your videos
Great stuff...ps..what's the natural colour..is it clear
It's a slightly foggy clear acrylic. Core natural is available on our website, youngnails.com.
Perfect Greg 🙂
Right on time! Thank you for this!
If you’re blending two different colors, one that isn’t white, on the last bead at the free edge, do you use clear? Thank you :)
Yes, clear is capping the color and the ombré so when you are filing the design stays.
Thank you
Is it normal to have such a big hump at the base of the nail? Is it possible to keep grinding it down so that it looks more natural?

You’re awesome 💅
Hey Greg is that a 240 grit or 180 Grit that you are using on the natural nail?
It’s a 150 grit sanding band with light pressure at 3,000-5,000 rpms.
Do you make a top coat that isn’t gel? I have allergies to gel 😥
We have our YN polish top coat.

Damn can I please see you!? Really you are amazing at nails and teaching ❤
What is the safety bit for the efile?
The bits that are rounded at the top are safety bits
Thankyou but wondered what that particular bit was
What color is the pink acrylic
It is our cover pink acrylic powder. It’s in the white jars with the pink label.
Any chance you can do a Mother’s Day sale and do more of the gel bundles like you did in April? They were sold out before I could buy one 😢😢😢
Our sales are usually at the end if each month so there is not a sale for Mother's Day.
❤❤❤
Where can I get that ceramic jar you have your liquid in
We have our black dappen dish available on our website. We unfortunately no longer sell the white one.
