I live about 15 miles away from Sugarloaf, and used to ride around there often during the 25 years I was in the sport of bicycle racing. The Loaf might not be big, at around 1/2 mile or so of climbing, but it supposedly maxes out at 12% incline. I've gone as fast as 56 mph down it on my bicycle. Yeah, not for the faint of heart.

My wife recently found this mountain and bikes it every few weeks. I’ve got video of her doing 45 next to my car down that hill. I can’t imagine going down in a scooter.

It was certainly a wild ride lol. I'd love to go back sometime and do it again. :)

The pictures I've seen of Britton Hill, the highest point of Fla, don't look anything like this.

      That's more of a plateau.

Any known sinkholes here? How do they do during hurricanes?

Your Welcome it was a cool idea anyway. Maybe you should try it with a SoapBox Derby type of ride? We used to build our own and ride them down steep hills around where we lived in upstate New York.

Great videos! Can you share what you think are the nicest historical towns in Florida (small and big)?

Thank you for the kind words. Also that's a good suggestion. I'll definitely try and do something like that in the near future. :)

Looks like you cut off the video half way down?

Hi Dave. The footage became extremely shaky and practically unusable in some spots. I've never down anything like that before, but I should have realized it would be a super shaky ride on that scooter at the speed I was traveling. It was not a smooth ride at all lol. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. :)
