I was at the show they did after this one - The Warfield Theater in San Francisco. I had 3rd row -- get to the show, and the guys sitting in front of me... James Hetfield, Kirk Hammet, and Lars Ulrich!! Got them to sign my ditch form from school that day! Great memories!
Live at the Ritz....one of the all time iconic concerts,30yrs on and it still rocks! G'N'R at theirfucking tightest man no Axle tantrums no bullshit just good ol rock n fucking roll man!
GNR FOREVER the greatest rock band of all time. They were wild, dangerous, sexy, unmanageable beasts with musical skills that were unbeatable, Axl had a vocal range that no one could match and dancing skill that were crazy. They really are the GOAT 🤩😍🥰😘❤️🌹❤️🔥💋🤟💯
In these early live shows and recordings you here the importance of Steven Adler. They where never the same after firing him, it's a true shame that the originals couldn't record the use your illusion albums I always thought, even though they were great albums they where lacking something and that something was Steven.

Last but definitely not least, in a world that he did not create, but he´d go through it as if it was his own making, half-man, half-beast, im not sure what it is, but whatever it is, it´s weird and it´s pissed off and it calls himself Slash.
@@thomasclarke2880 HEHE, well he saved it pretty good ; Slash use to play very sloppy on those days, now he plays better but his tone is not as good.... (my opinion off course)
@@cheranguista yeah you are right. and right before the 3:53, when he went off from the original solo he's doing one of his favorite runs and sounds very much like a little part from don't damn me solo. not one of those great virtuozos but definitely had a taste, style and personal life saver licks since the early days😄
@@burakyy4907 band wouldn't have worked with a virtuoso. GNR was never about, delay pedals, reverbs, locking tremolo systems for dive-bombs, tapping etc . That's why when buckethead played those songs, it didn't feel like GNR.

These dudes were vicious!!! 🔥🔥🔥 This band could've topped VH and Aerosmith as the best rock band out of America but they imploded during their peak... Victimized by LSD (Lead singer disease). The old ego... Turned them into slightly above a footnote.
Thumbs up for the LSD - no truer words ever written. Axl’s ego took this band down. But they created the last great analog rock album. And Slash inspired countless other artists.
It’s easier than you would. If they’ve got the clothes ready to go you can change in leads than 20 seconds. And I think he simply just changed shirts and put on a jacket
c'est pas les musiciens qui suivent le batteur c'est steven qui suit ses musiciens ça c'était un putainn de groupe !! ils s'adaptaient ça c'est du groove🤘🤘🤘🤘
When GnR was literally the second coming of the stones and Aerosmith. When they hated the establishment. It’s sad that later BECAME the establishment. GnR isn’t a band anymore. It’s brand. You can sell anything with that logo. Stones too. Not a band. A brand. Slap that tongue on anything and it will sell.
Steven literally danced while drumming. He really was a driving force in this band .
He played downhill putting the smash on those drums
Ain't nothing better then child hood memories of the 80s

One of the best Rock n Roll bands of all time. Hands down the best band of the 80s.
Without Steven and Izzy this band is just not the same! This will forever be the true lineup 🤘🏻
Maybe not the same, but better than the Axl Rose solo tour disguised as GnR in the 2000s.
@@bossportsfan34true, that shouldn’t even had been called Guns N Roses, because it’s literally just Axl’s solo band
Il give you that one. This is the line up that not just wrote the songs. It's what they all were doing. They lived it. Saw it.
Exactly!!!! U can't get the same sound with different members!!!!
Completely agree!
The one and only Guns N' Roses
incorrect. its not "Guns N' Roses". its GUNS N' FUCKIN ROSES

Best line up of G'n'R by far - the original band. The rawest sound which made them famous!
These 5 are magical
We saw GnR about 4 months prior to this show in Philly (October ’87). Still in my top 10 of all shows by anyone anywhere. Absolutely killer!
I remember watching this on mtv live
Hell yeah!!!
Oh man those days... good times for sure! GNR always brought the showtime.
Love the early years of GNR
This lineup f'n tore the flesh from your bones. Just magical.
Love Axl' s High Pitch Voice and the he Moves and Dances!
Mr Steven pop corn adler. Wkwkwkwk. His swinging drum beat is unbeatable.

I think there was a tantrum behind the stage. Axl refused to come on stage because he could not find his bandana and was pissed off))
THIS band right here IS Guns N' Roses. Nightrain is my 2nd favorite GN'R song & this is my favorite GN'R concert!
Whats your favorite?? I can't wait to hear this...

20% of the band, 40% of the sound.
100% AGREE!!! Adler is a rock AND roll drummer, Sorem is a rock drummer. Adler could swing, Sorem is a metronome.
