Thank you for a another series breakdown 🙏🏽
I can't help but wonder if the "shadows" in the light that Sabine saw were the star whales
@ScreenCrush did You notice the owl that ahsoka sees just before the end of the episode? Isn't that the owl from rebels after they come out of the world between worlds?
What’s the point of all of these shows when we know that they all lead to the ignorant sequel trilogy and none of these characters are present in them??
So, you're playing for Keeps...
You didn’t mention how when Thrawn signaled to destroy the night sister temple, the night sisters were thrown off by it and seemed to not like it. I believe that was the start of a rift between their alliance
I hope so
Those aren't Purge Troopers. They're Death Troopers, like the ones we see in Rogue One. We also see them accompanying Thrawn in Rebels. These are probably those same troopers, but it looks like they've been literally dead for quite a while.
That’s what I thought too.
Death troopers, but what type? There's a novel by this name that references a lethal virus that infects an empirial ship. These "dead" troopers clue us into the title, death troopers. Maybe they're both types of death troopers...
Yeah, they're also the guys Moff Gideon used to shoot up the cantina towards the end of the first season of Mando
Kaon here, When I saw the Death Troopers resurrect, I immediately thought, " OG Death Troopers as Death Troopers!!"
I was about to make the same comment, but then i wanted to make sure no one made it before me. this is made clear because the purge troopers have one connecting visor where as the death troopers have seperate ones. another clue is that their Dymac Exhaust filter is circular unlike the rectangular ones on the purge trooper helmet.
In the fight when Ahsoka says "Sabine. Blasters" This is Sword and Shield a common battle tactic use in The Clones Wars and referenced in Rebels by Rex.
Thats what I thought too.. this was definitely Ahsoka's Clone Wars experience shining through! Awesome scene! 😍
@@andiparker3733it's like Poetry, so that Ryan Aery's Mom rhymes.
Possibly, did you see Ashoka’s face before she said it 😂…. A pffft look (at her bullet deflection skills), it made me laugh
When Ezra says the thing about the blade emitter being too narrow or whatever it's a joke callback to the lightsaber blades in rebels being so skinny
So basically Peridea is the center of everything. It's connected to Purrgils, Nightsisters, Zeffo, Mortis Gods.
Also, I just hope they continue Baylan's story in live action. Have Shin take his role or recast him. I know everyone already said it,but I LOVED Ray Stevenson's performance. His gravitas carried every single scene he was in.
Mel Gibson
Bahlon will be recast. Since the actor died. Sadly
They should use the actor from Rome who played Titus Pullo...
@@stevena.7022 bruh Disney ... Mel Gibson ... naaaa ... hell naaa😂😂😂
Who ever it is im going to give them the Star Trek Captain Pike speech and say... "I dare you to do better" lol
Three things: those were Death Troopers, not Purge Troopers (potentially re-animated versions of the two that Ezra kills while storming the bridge of the Chimera in the Rebels finale), and the fact that they're undead Death Troopers is probably a reference to the Legends 'Death Troopers' novel about zombie stormtroopers. Second, the lights in the sky at the end are just the rings of Peridea. Finally, Huyang says Ezra's blade emitter is too thin, probably a reference to all the complaints about the lightsabers being too thin in Rebels.
You nailed it in all three.
Possibly also trying to "explain" why the lightsabers were so thin in the Original Trilogy??🤔
Thank you! Was hoping someone would point out that they were Death Troopers and the link to the book. Especially as we got to see them under the helmet in part (one part cracked open) and that we saw that they were resurrected without being 'killed' like the stormtroopers were (Implying that they were already dead)
@ONIS3 also, the helmet was broken in the same way as the stormtrooper in the death trooper novel trailer
What’s the point of all of these shows when we know that they all lead to the ignorant sequel trilogy and none of these characters are present in them??
Did anyone else notice the face that the three witches pulled when Thrawn ordered the bombardment on the temple? They did not see very happy. There could be a betrayal there.
Oh oh… maybe we bet on the wrong horse!
There's a lot more meaning to Danse Macabre's violin being played at the ressurection scene. The entire composition is meant to represent the dance of the dead in the one night of the year where death let's them rise from the grave to enjoy themselves. The whole piece is telling a story, from xylophones representing the clicking bones of the dancing skeletons to the wind instruments at the end representing the sigh of the dead as they know the party is over and they have to go back in the ground.
But the off-tune violin we hear in this episode is the very start of the composition, and it represents, literally, death's fiddle, which is the means through which death awakens the dead for their little ball, just as the witches were waking the dead here.
I love this song since I recognized it in “Beetlejuice” long ago and now play it frequently every October
The 'lights' in the sky that you mention towards the end are the rings of the planet (*edit* made of Purgil bones as a few people noted below), like Saturn's rings. Great coverage Ryan and team, I really enjoyed this season.
It did take a second to recognize that's what those were, it really does look like light
@@tres7351 Yes it took me a little while to make the link
@@tres7351lots of little light-colored bits, reflecting sunlight, like the moon, but more diffuse.
Yeah I realized that they were the rings after thinking it was "God rays" for a few moments
The rings are made from the bones of the Purgils too
I noticed that everyone who came to the other galaxy (nameless troopers on the ring ship notwithstanding) stayed behind in that galaxy; Ahsoka, Sabine, Huyang, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, Morgan Elsbeth all do not return. Meanwhile everyone who was on that planet before gets back to the main galaxy; Thrawn, the Night Sister witches, the army of Storm Troopers, Ezra, and the "cargo", all return
I don't know if it's a little callback to the Rebels animation style but, when building his lightsaber, Ezra says it won't work because the emitter is "too narrow" and Huyang assures him it will 😂
That scene with Huyang’s ship made me think of two quotes. Buzz Lightyear screaming “MY SHIP!” And Jack Sparrow screaming “STOP BLOWING HOLES IN MY SHIP!!”
You can really see Diana Lee Inosanto's martial arts background in her duel with Ahsoka - graceful and powerful
Their rematch might have been the best action scene of the whole show.
I think it was the best duel of the whole season!
Let's not forget their duel in the Mandalorian episode
I loved the callback to Rebels when Ezra spoke in troopers communicator ~ he was always impersonating and calling himself Jaba the Hut.
In reference to the shuttle Ezra stole, that's a Republic Era Nu-class shuttle that Shin and Baylan used not a Lamda-class Imperial shuttle.
I was gonna point that out. Good catch
Actually it's a Eta-Class Shuttle. but yes, it's a Republic design and the same type, that Baylan and Shin use during the first half of the season. You can also see the shuttle in the Chimera's hangar bay, during Ezra's boarding.
@@korfi2go748 I stand corrected
I was so confused now it makes sense
Ray Stevenson's loss really hurts now. Baylan's story seemed really interesting. I am up for a recast if they find the right actor.
Safe travels Ray!
The dude who plays the hound in got could replace him acting wise but look wise it’ll be hard to match
@@danewtrucka6431 I was thinking Liev Schreiber
@@Plush.Hunter that could be perfect
Leiv Shreiber seems like a good recast if they can get him.
Felt more like a beginning than an ending.
My issue with this finale: not enough Shin Hati! The episode could easily have accomodated 10-15 additional minutes of runtime, to give us more context and what to look forward to in upcoming installments
Not. Enough. Shin.
i feel like they might have run out of budget....Plus they WANTED lots of cliffhangers....
Yeah. Cause what we need was more bad acting and crazy eyes.
Keep all the extra Shin stuff. We needed more Baylan
Sometimes less is more.
When Ezra is building his light saber, he says “the blade emitter is too thin” referencing the thin blade style of the sabers in rebels.
A few things:
Yep, those are death^2 troopers.
Could point out that Ezra's force jump was actually his first force ability. He naturally learned this one as a child.
Third! Sabine turning back to rejoin her Master, giving up on following Ezra is a true show of selflessness. I have no doubt that she'll excel in light side teaching.
The black armored troopers on the top of the temple are Death Troopers from Rogue One and Rebels. They took their name from the zombie troopers in Legends, so Dave having the Death Troopers come back as Double Death Troopers is awesome. You got the reference wrong though. It could also be implying that Death Troopers have ALWAYS been undead, raised by Palpatine with Sith Majik not just to protect his most valued officials, but probably to spy on them too. He could probably order them with the Force to off a traitor instantly. Like a more extreme version of Inhibitor Chips.
I like that idea they are basically just a another part of palpatine a extension of his hand
Purge troopers? Wtf
Yea they seemed like death troopers, but I wasn’t sure until they made that iconic robotic sound from rogue one.
i was calling them Death Night Troopers
I believe that the Red guards are also high ranking death troopers
I loved it when Sabine used the force to get her lightsaber for the first time, similar to how Luke did it on Hoth in Empire Strikes Back before the Wampa came to get him.
The part at the end with Ray Stevenson was pretty sad. I was hoping he would have a heroic death or something that brought his story to a close, but the ending meant they planned on him being in the series/movies a lot longer, and now I'm not sure what they will do. He was easily the best character/actor in the series, and he won't be easy to replace or whatever they will have to do.
I laughed when Ezra told Huyang the emitter he recommended would make the lightsaber too narrow…obviously a tongue in cheek reference to many people’s issue with the lightsabers in Rebels
I still haven't forgotton about the giant tallneck looking death machine that the bad batch and Phee Genoa encountered. Maybe it's just an unrelated standard ancient civilization relic but it had a similar vibe to all the nightsister or Zeffo type stuff we had in Ahsoka.
The thing they could have salvaged and made tens of billions of credits off of but instead just left it there because they hate money yet complain about needing it all the time? Lol
You're right! Man, that was such a cool episode!
I absolutely love the "That is your mom" and "Somehow palpatine returned" inside jokes. Every single time I can't but help crack a smile and chuckle.
The Owl also had a cameo at the end. Ahsoka looks at it and walks away
Regarding the resurrection chant, there is actually a force echo of it in Jedi Fallen Order on Dathomir that you can find. I compared it to the episode and it’s the same chant, to which Cal responds “a nightsister practicing her craft.” Such a cool Easter egg and one of the MANY reasons I love Star Wars!
Morgan & Ahsoka's final fight was phenomenal! Both actors worked so hard & impressive acrobatics by the stunt women. 👏🏼 🤍💙🤍💙
The best part about the portrayal of both of those characters was their swordplay.
I doubt Mogan / Diana Lee Inosanto used a stunt woman as she is a martial artist and a stuntwoman herself.
Liv schrieber is my pick to play baylan skoll going forward Rip ray stevenson he did really good thing with that's role.
Good vid. 2 thoughts:
1. The purge troopers look to me more like the Death Troopers we saw in Rogue One.
2. Morgan’s evil: you painted her sympathetically, but when we met her in Mandalorian, she was the warlord of a small town in which the towns folk lived in constant fear and were brutally punished.
The season started off slow but the final episode had everything that's what made star wars great. Cool lightsabre choreography, a scheming villian, force magic and a larger mystery that relates to forgetten knowledge. The beautiful soundtrack is just icing on the cake.
21:12 I think the Sister’s absence also means she’s not with the Father and Brother anymore but with the Ahsoka
I thought the same
Anakin = Father, Baylon = Son, Ashoka = Daughter, Sabine = Abeloth or her more balanced replacement ? Or flip-flop Ashoka/Sabine ?
I’ve just got to say that this finale really surprised me and the season as a whole was terrific. Not Andor -level, but still a ton of fun.
Agreed! Ahsoka as a whole was great and miles better than Kenobi! ANDOR is Star Wars on steroids! 👏👏👏👏👏
While Andor was on another level of both cinematic writing and directing, Ahsoka ties together (like someone said on another reaction comment section) the Prequels, the Original Trilogy, the Clone Wars animated series, the Rebels animated series, books AND (somewhat unfortunately) the later sequels. The level of world building on this show is completely next level and essentially completes/resolves Annakin Skywalker's ENTIRE character/story arc which is pretty incredible.
@@beadragon1048 this show was terrible and damaging to the lore but its still miles better than kenobi and book of boba fett
What was so surprising?
@@jilliebean6312I’m curious as to how it’s damaging to the lore
Mannn these screen crush reviews have become 2nd nature to me. I finish an episode of a show and come to TH-cam to listen to Ryan talk about it. I hope you do this forever man. Much love !!!
I loved Morgan and Ahsokas fight. Morgan used some kind of... I think...Wudang sword fighting technique. Its beautiful, how they mixed the actual martial arts in this series. Beautiful.
In real life she’s a Filipino Martial Artist. There is a lot FMA Choreography in this show
Including Sabine Wren and Ashoka. Choreography
@@pandaman1677 Wow. I Didn't know This. I just in love with the Japanese sword fighting technique, and I know it...Not very well...but I learned, and did kendo. And in this line, I love the wudang kungfus sword, and bo style. And this is what I spoted. :D But sooooooo nice, and sooo well done choreographed all the fighting scenes.
I did not expect that ending.
RIP Ray Stevenson.
Thanks Ryan for the great coverage this season! We appreciate the hard work you and the team do putting these videos together!!
I like how Sabine learned to sense the Force on easy mode with her Beskar Armour correcting her mistakes in realtime allowing her to learn and adapt (blaster bolt scenes). That's what I like the most about Sabine in this series. She figures it out and keeps on trying
I love how Hyuang recommends a saber piece to Ezra and Ezra dismisses it complaining that the blade would be too thin (Or something like that)…which HAS to be a call back to the initial complaints online of the saber design being different from the style of Clone Wars show version.
Regarding ezra new crystal i just assumed huyang had a supply along with the rest of his stash of lightsaber parts.
I figure that he's had enough time to pick up a suitable crystal in his wanderings.
How did Huyang know the name Keenan Jarus? when Keenan Jarus built his light saber he would have known him as Caled Dume as a Padawan. Huang must have known him after Order 66 when the name change occurred to hide. Did I miss something?
@@chriswoods3049 Huyang is also aware that kanan ,and Caleb are the same person ,probably through files on the empire or with ahsoka.
Just a guess, but he's probably spent some time getting info from Chopper (and R2, maybe even 3P0), just to add to his history of the different Jedi that are (or were) out there. I'd bet that he knew exactly who Ezra's master was, and was leading the conversation in that direction, using good old fashioned Socratic dialogue as though he was in his classroom.@@chriswoods3049
They def set up Baylon for a season 2, it won't be the same without Ray (RIP) but we all want to see where that story-line goes!!!
Second Dumbeldore was fine
@@iwantitall21personally, I liked Gambon's Dumbledore better
Doug is fantastic! You guys really do a great job producing these episodes. Thank you!
23:03 The "lights in the sky" are just the rings around the planet
It’s possible those “glowing lights” in the distance, in the final shot, could have been the rings around the planet, which are actually the bones of deceased purrgil.
100% those were the rings.
Not even sure why this is a debate in the comments. Obviously the rings. Sometimes, the writers for this channel are rather stupid.
The purrgils liked the planet so much, they put a ring on it.
just the leftover trail from the hyperspace jump, looks cool.
That's what I thought.
The light in the sky behind Anakin is clearly the ring of debris and bones circling the planet, its just how it appears from the ground. Like a planet with rings might be seen.
Came here to say this. It is the Purgil graveyard ring as seen from the planet's surface.
We also see Morgan cut one of Ahsokas light sabers in half. Maybe, given that those sabers were connected to Anakin because he gifted them to her, this is symbolic of her shift in perspective in regard to him. She can focus on the good he did as opposed be being ashamed and burdened by the duality of what he became.
19:31 I loved that you noticed Thrawn being polite (to bloody droids as well) as another time I i noticed this was when Cpt Enoch informed Thrawn about the two TIE fighters making contact with Ahsoka's ship he basically knew at worst he would have lost two TIE's and sent two men to their deaths and so tells Enoch to mark their Captain for a citation. Basically saying job well done your men performed their duties as they downed the ship and made their odds of escape far greater.
Not once have I ever seen an Imperial officer show any kind of appreciation for their troops like this in Star Wars that i can remember.
I don't think the night sisters are dead, I think they are in stasis. Thrawn had to "wake" the 3 sisters who were aiding him.
My thought is… Why would the writers have Morgan say she “saw the catacombs” ? Not, “I saw the carbonite freezing chamber…” or whatever. It’s invoking the idea of zombies from that point on. An army of zombie night sisters connects perfectly to CWs and Rebels where we already saw this happen before; as well as Marrock and the zombie night troopers we’ve already saw in this season. It’s an interesting idea to say they are all frozen or whatever, but the writings on the wall- it’s a zombie night sister army.
@@lcbrown2119 That wouldn't make sense because zombie night sisters are temporary things and they don't need an army if there are only 3 night sisters left alive and have no one they would need to fight. They are not only not from this galaxy, if they knew what happened to the rest of the sisters, there is no empire or emperor to attack. Also all those casket things are powered, you can see lights on them, and you don't need power for dead bodies.
Just wrote the same thing before scrolling down through the comments to see yours.
@@curtisbme Yeah, I don’t buy that. But that’s the fun of theorizing and making these sort of comments; it’s all about guessing. We will have to wait and see what happens.
@@lcbrown2119I mean.. it’s not really a big leap. If the mothers were sleeping it’s safe to assume the other sisters are sleeping as well
One question… how did Huyang know that Kanan is Caleb Dume?
Good questionnnnn
Because Ahsoka knew and she told him?
Good point. Had to be Ashoka. Huang was right on the mark with his reply
The mention of a the light emitter being too narrow is probably a reference to people complaining that the lightsabers in Rebels were too skinny
Ryan: "I'm not sure what to make of these lights coming from the sky."
Aren't those 'lights' the planet's rings made of purrgil bones?
Pretty awesome finale, it set up a few things and gave some answers. The battle between Morgan and Ahsoka was great, Diana Lee Inosanto grew up with martial arts and it showed. She’s the goddaughter of Bruce Lee and her father Dan Inosanto was a student of Bruce.
What answers? Genuinely asking.
@@Anonuser8236 Same question. What answers?
@@Anonuser8236 who might be calling Baylan, whomever it is, they are tied to the Mortis gods. It’s a start. What were those bands around the Stormtroopers, Nightsister bonds preset to raise them if fallen, Where’d Evil Bangs aka Shin Hati, end up.
Ahsoka is such an amazing series after Clone wars, it brings all aspect from the plot, character development, conflict, and fan service all into one piece of a masterpiece series.
I love that the Clone Wars opening quotes for the Morits arc episodes are
03×15 - Overlords: Balance is found in the one who faces his guilt.
03×16 - Altar of Mortis: He who surrenders hope, surrenders life.
03×17 - Ghosts of Mortis: He who seeks to control fate shall never find peace.
and how much they relate to this show and the lessons learned by Ahsoka and Sabine
21:36 - The way Baylan is looking out toward that light is the same framing when Anakin was looking toward the Monastery of the Father in the Clone Wars, Season 3, Episode 15. If Anakin was the "chosen one" in that episode then maybe Baylan will be that in this series. He kind of wanted to stop the constant back and forth nature of good versus evil in the universe. So maybe he becomes the new "father" and brings peace and balance in the universe.
I was thinking the same
Absolutely incredible Star Wars show. Finally, Star Wars chills. Thanks Ryan and the crew for always making these videos for us. Looking forward as an excited Star Wars fan!
Really enjoyed the finale, it all came full circle, and the showdown between Ahsoka and Morgan was awesome! Been some cool fights between saber user
Thrawn also did get mad at Admiral Konstantine in rebels when he badmouths hera's culture. Thrawn grabs him and grimaces then lets him go and says something along the lines "I forget not everyone has such a liking of art like I do"
23:01 The lights in the sky are the rings around the planet, or the bone graveyard thing
At the beginning Morgan was officially inducted into the sisterhood like with Asij Ventress was on Dathamiri massacre episode (whatever that episode title was) in Clone Wars. That’s why she had to recite the pledge and given her full power. Which is different then what Savage was given.
Are the "lights" in the sky not just the graveyard rings? Was the only thing I could think of.
Been great watching these throughout Ahsoka, great deep dive into the Easter eggs. Wish Filoni had written the Sequels now though.
Quest marker waypoint
The mountain that Baylon is looking at on the father’s hand looks very similar to the mountain where the Mortis temple was
This might be a small detail but I wanted to point out that the Republic shuttle that Ezra arrives in is the same type of shuttle that Anakin, Obi-wan and Ahsoka used to travel to the planet Mortis. Also the same shuttle that Baylan and Shin arrive in in the first episode of the series.
Yeah I was gonna point that out as well. It's likely literally the same shuttle that Baylan and Shin use in the first episode, since it would have been on the hyperspace ring ship right? Definitely not a Lambda.
I love the story telling as a whole, of course is not like a huge finale because is not really meant to be like that. I am excited about what is to come next
What did you think of the finale?
Desperately in need of a Season 2...
🔥🔥🔥
I loved it, it delivered on everything🔥
meh
Mr Ryan @screencrush I hope you don't work too hard producing these master pieces. Seems like a huge time sink. Hope you and team are well!
I really love that you include musical theme analysis, it's honestly my favorite part, thank you!
Ah! It was great when Thrawn opened the com channel to Ashoka at the end! It reminded me of what Gul Dukat would always do to taunt Sisko or Kira in DS9, just digging into the open would to try to torture them hahaha! I would be so stoked for him to be the protagonist in the Filoni movie coming out! I hope we get to see Eli Vanto and the Chis at least!
When the night trooper zombies are chasing Ashoka, Ezra, and Sabine I noticed that one of them trip on the way up the stairs. Which could be kind of a call back to when the storm trooper hit its head on the door while chasing the good guys in a new hope.
@@BuckyBarnesATL that’s funny because I have no idea who that is.
Great as always. I’ve really been enjoying the additional edits you’ve been doing. Though they’re short, I know they’re time consuming. But again, they’re well worth it. Thank you for the extra effort you put into crafting these videos.
Thrawn remarking to give a citation to the TIE pilots for their attack on the Jedi is another sign he greatly respects those that serves him and thus how he maintains great respect of his followers.
Felt like we're missing an episode otherwise it's awesome
They should have made a 2 part finale
I think the line where Thrawn says "there will be no negotiating with the apprentice of Anakin Skywalker" is a reference to what Anakin says to Padme in Episode 2 about entering into "aggressive negotiations", which he elaborates means negotiations with a lightsaber.
Also, Ahsoka using the Blade of Talzin against Morgan to defeat and kill her reminded me of Anakin using Count Dooku's lightsaber to behead him.
So pumped that you mentioned Danse Macabre! I noticed that right away and it confirmed the zombie troopers for me the second before they were reanimated. Love what the did with the music in this episode!
Ezra's lightsaber has classic sounds 🔥🔥🔥
I really liked this empire strike back style ending of ahsoka the bad guy have victory, but there is still hope for our heroes this was such a great finale ,and a excellent seaon 1 hopefully dave filoni is already working on season 2.
I was confused at first too but that isnt a light coming down from the sky in that Ahsoka and Sabine scene. It is a glipmse of the planet's ring, the purgill graveyard, through the clouds.
When Ezra is building the saber and Huyang suggests a part, but Ezra dismisses using it saying "the blade emitter is too narrow" - this was a dig \ acknowledgement of the criticism of the Rebels lightsabers being too thin.
First off, I think that Vincent Regan would be the best fit to replace Ray Stevenson (RIP). The one thing that you didn't mention was that all of the Mortis force 'gods' are dead. The father consumed by sadness of his daughter's death then kills himself, and while the brother is distracted Anakin kills him.
What happened to Baylen! 😢 It's tragic that Ray passed away so young, but this really hammers in grief for me as I was already a big fan of his, but I feel like this was one of his best roles and I want so much more of Baylen Skoll.
I loved the finale. It was a touching send off for Ray Stevenson at the end and he sets up the action to come beautifully. There isn’t unlimited power in the World Between Worlds though. The Night Sisters and Thrawn wouldn’t be running from that. That’s Abeloth and the cracks in her cage sending up that stream of light. I’m certain. That’s the unimaginable power of which Baylan spoke of throughout the season.
Thanks for the ride, amazing coverage! Looking forward to what’s next!!!
May the force be with you.
Absolutely loved these Easter egg breakdowns. I will return here when the next show drops!
Was expecting a longer finale. The action was amazing, that good I forget about Baylan & Shin until the end (I know). So many loose ends. Frustraingly let down I feel. Yes, yearning for more!
It was great. I liked 5 and 6 more but it was still great. Bummed Ray didn't have more line in this episode but still convey powerful message. And it sucks that they will have to try to recast....good luck.
The glow in the distance at night is the rings around the planet reflecting light just as a moon does
This episode did not disappoint. I really enjoyed it! Thanks for the breakdown.
Cant wait to see Morgan stand back up next season completely unharmed from her lightsaber wound
Great season which I want more, lots more. Also it generated lots of great content on this channel.
Can not wait to see where this goes. Interesting to see where George Lucas apprentice takes Skywalkers apprentice.
The Star lights you can see in the end is the belt off dead purrgil we saw a few episodes ago, surrounding the Planet. Just like the belt around saturn.
Thanks so much for all of these break downs!
Im surprised you didn't mention the look of discontent on the Night Sister's faces when Thrawn ordered the destruction of the temple. Possibly hinting at a future betrayal
loved the finale!!! .... also... i don't know why it came to my mind that there's no one in live action that built a lightsaber with the force XD
I love how the underside of Thrawns ship has his "logo". Cool little detail.
The zombie troopers in black armor are death troopers from Rogue One. Also the shuttle Ezra escapes in isn't an imperial lambda class but a clone wars era Eta class shuttle.
Really excited to see what happens next. Great setup. What will happen on Dathomir? Mortis gods reference was exciting. Loved the entire season of Ahsoka 🤍💙🤍💙
I think the many arms will be his own death troopers dragging him down to his death or preventing him from saving himself. Betrayed by the 3 mothers maybe
I always thought that the "many arms surrounding him in a cold embrace" was the purgill's tentacles wrapping around him in the rebels finale
@@michmill7007 but it wasn't his end that was just a setback lol
@@randdmoore1 Bendu never said he was describing his death, just his defeat.
"There will be no negotiating with the Apprentice of Annakin Skywalker."
That has to be top 3 Star Wars quotes.
I loved it. And nice work explaining this all.
