(in a game where jumping is everything, Luigi jumps higher and *technically* his abilities in Smash Bros. edge out Mario's despite being largely similar) but I have ALWAYS loved Luigi and would always choose him when given a choice between Mario and Luigi. It might also be because I'm a brother and while I'm the older brother, I am the taller and fitter of the two and always felt like nothing I do is ever good enough and I'm never taken seriously. I suppose that's why Luigi is more relatable to MANY people out there - people love the hard working, earnest, loving underdog.
