    1 hand in the pocket, 1 on the phone and zig zag through the crowd with ease!! You made it look so dam easy.....
    I'm recently in love with the Airwheel, started with a double wheel and took 2 days to learn a single wheel... Now I can finally ride it to the shops nearby instead of driving... :]!!!

      They last quite long just battery degrade and mileage per charge decrease over time. I'm waiting for my new Gotway MCM5 ! ! Riding an old 3 years old MCM2 for now. The top speed, power and range per charge of Gotway is waaay ahead of Airwheel . . .

    For the folks that say this is so incredibly lazy - how do you categorize an automobile commute to work/school? This is a great option for gas free commutes to work at a quicker pace with the ability to be on a sidewalk/walkway. Makes sense to me! :) and wouldn't you be using core muscles? Just my two cents.

    • @VStrill
      @VStrill 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      LOL... Roy that's exactly what I plan to find out... no more shaky running action shots. Once you get used to riding this thing it looks pretty intuitive... becomes an extension of your body so you could focus on getting your shot and not so much on keeping your balance. It's pretty obvious this video was shot with a 2nd electric unicycle following the guy in the video.... and the video is very smooth.

    I bought one of these (X8) about 4 years ago. Its a lot of fun to ride, but the only problem I have with it is that its tends to be rather slow. Mines at full speed will get up to about 15 mph (24 kilometers per hr) and will last about 5-7 miles. There are more advanced models today that are far more expensive, but will go a lot faster

    *I know this video is old as shit, but we live in Japan now and we have these. We STILL get stares and questions everywhere we go! I could tell that a few people in this video wanted to look, but refused to, at the same time. Riding an air wheel in public is like having a deformity: people wanna stare, but they try hard not to haha The best air wheel riders I've known thus far are Larry and Laurent from Les Twins. They are pros and I still don't get how they can ride them on one leg without training wheels!*

    The cost seems to be all profit. If they lowered the price they'd sell more and people would realise what a great way to get too and from railway stations/ bus stops etc to work and back again.

  • @leonelgraca

    This is interesting. I commute 10-15 min to work cycling fast. But winter is coming, which can be rough in Aberdeen with tough wind, snow and rain. I have been considering a DIY ebike kit kit to upgrade the bike, but will be heavier to bring upstairs. This sounds as an interesting alternative, with a similar price. One year bus will return the investment... Question, how does it react to cold and snow? And I guess strong crazy Aberdonian winds would be kind of surfing? Cant wait to find some friend with one, for a test drive. That would be awesome, to test drive this!

    While less imposing than a Segway I can see these being a potential problem on sidewalks especially congested downtown walks.Many cities have banned electric scooters due to unintended collisions some with serious injuries and ramifications.

    soon it will be like a pair of sneakers...
    The fastest human footspeed on record is 44.72 km/h (12.42m/s, 27.44 mph), seen during a 100 meters sprint (average speed between the 60th and the 80th meter) by Usain Bolt. Maximum human sprint speed is strikingly slower than that of many animals.
    e-unicycle rider could easily ride at 25 mph in full control, safe and go for up to 40 miles range, great commuting, outdoors, large industrial warehouse distances covered in seconds, could ride as slow as your walking partners, compact, places off road, narrow walkways, along the road, or sidewalks - where cars and bikes don't go, e-unicycle goes.

      +Teemo4Life it is because with the degway, you are limited. Segway cannot go over even small obstacles. If there is something in the segway path, you have to lift it or go around it. Also, segway is wider so you occupy more space. This though can go down steps/stairs and greater terrain (I speak as though i had 1) ^^"
