I have done more than 112 hours on a Solowheel. I can ride backwards and do 180 degree spins but I can't go up slopes or hills like this. I am genuinely impressed with this machine.
It's so fun to use. It's like you want to get outside and enjoy more. You also get some work out from keep balancing it, yet it looks like you do nothing. You actually work out on your lower back, hips and legs.
And many persons who have not used Rockwheel before are not aware of that the how the 10LED shows battery status of the Rockwheel.The first 3 LEDs becomes dark very quickly ,usually when you run 5-6km ,it will turn dark ,and the two yellow light in the middle is the most durable lights .Firthermore ,when the lights begin blinking ,it still has over 10% battery left ,the left 10% battery can still run 3-4km

I really don't like leaving negative posts but I must this time. I just returned from the ER with 7 stitches after having experienced a fall on my Rockwheel. There was over 50% battery left and I was traveling in a straight line and all of a sudden without warning, the wheel shut off or did something that caused me to face plant. No warning, no alarm. It simply stopped and fell forward. I was bruised all over and had a large gash over my eye that required emergency care. I am very disappointed by this and feel like I will never be able to trust my Rockwheel again. Has anyone else experienced this?
The reason why Rockwheel needs 2.5 hours to full charge is that Rockwheel's battery has more volume ,and the more volume battery will support it to go further range. Rockwheel's battery is 300Wh ,Panasonic brand ,volume 2900mah each piece ,there are 28 pieces in a Rockwheel .that is why Rockwheel can run more than 30km.Some other electric unicycle is 88Wh,so it can run 8-10km,while Rockwheel is 300Wh.
When it starts beeping ,the Rockwheel will not turn off directly .The protecting theory of Rockwheel is when its motor efficiency reaches 77% ,it will starts beeping ,and the left 23% energy is to protect user from falling down ,so if the user do not push it further ,the Rockwheel will not reach its actually max speed .Usually when it starts beeping ,the speed already reaches 20km/h.And if Rockwheel uses speed below 20km/h ,you will not hear its beeping .However,when you hear its beeping ,do slow down ,its speed is already very fast.
About tyre pressure ,for first learner ,the tyre pressure should be 2.0 bar (29 psi) ,when you learn how to ride ,you should keep it 3.0 bar(43.5 psi),which will increase the range and the fun of riding.
We hear from some customers that someone is using the used Rockwheel to sell it as new one .My company will not give any warranty if it is dissembled without our permit and guildance .
My power charger just died after owning for a few years. Anyone know where a replacement can be purchased. The specs are different than any of the ones sold on Amazon.
