People seem to forget that legends always have a true source. So something is there. There is always a kernel of truth to the stories.

My moms ppl was from Ky. Once we went over the Oh. river things topographicaly changed. It's like going back in time. Once down in the holler' where my Grandparents use to live it got pitch dark. We never ventured over the hills around my Grandparents house. I almost got bit to death by a female mocassin covered by her lil' mocassins i dad stopped me my vision was going nearsighted and i had some bream to dump in yhe creek. Thank God for Daddys. Nor did we venture out of that holler' to go out at night Grandpa always had a double barrel 12 gauge. You right things could be just over the hill and we would have never known. They passed on and my kin sold the land. Memories of a Appilacian farm. They used a mule to till had a corn crib a smokehouse to hang their pig and cooked their own ckicken. The garden was a coupke acres and grandpa had a well with the brst tasting limestone filter cold water you can only imagine. God bless & travel with friends. There are things out there. Usually NO ONE returns to report these things.

I hear ya' my greatgrand parents are still up on a hill i. Kentucky.
Maybe you haven't seen one yet. But when you do you'll k ow it. What part of Kentucky?? My folks had several hills & hollers'. It was tillex by a mule & grandpa. They are gone now. My relatives sold the land dirt cheap. Thefe is somethi g out thing out there ppl are. Ppl are missing. Alot of ppl. It may not be on your farm but that doesn't mean squat. Eastern Kentucky the Real hills. Some ppl seatch for years and don't find nothing then ywo women out West turn a curvy road and they are shocked ay it's size. Police see them. Natives don"t go places for knowledge & encounters. Check the book 411 he has compiled the missing ppl & odd situations they find these ppl.

Terrasaurs and the water dwelling plesiosaur are NOT Dinosaurs! They are infact reptiles and a different classification all together. Not dinosaur.
Might seem a bit knitpicky but its an important distinction. I once met a guy who sells dinosaur bones for a living who believed that terrasaurs evolved into birds when in reality birds evolved from something very similar to raptors.

    Quick question.
For the bunyip, At 1:54 that's a kelpy. A water horse that drags its victims to there watery graves. Once you touch it, you are stuck. At 2:29 is a Hippocampus. Are you saying those two are the same as the bunyip or are you saying they could be some of the sightings? Is there another reason? Im just really confused and just want to know why you included them with the bunyip.
If you try to look up hippocampus type in hippocampus mythology. Hippocampus will bring up something about human brains and then hippocampus seahorse will bring up atual seahorses.

I've had several sightings in my time of the big black cats of Great Britain. They are a ferel breeding population of panther-leopards. Spotted leopards are starting to emerge now according to recent video evidence. They are of course not actually cryptids, but that is proof enough to me that some cryptids may well exist out there. The existence of these big cats in the UK is still widely debated, even though they've been thriving under our noses for nearly half a century. This would indicate that we humans are actually not very difficult to keep hidden from.

I love 'Scary Mysteries' & I enjoyed this video, but I did have the "Oh no, not Nessie" face-palm.
Like the vast majority of Scots, I see Nessie as little more than slightly embarrassing tourist hokum - a great idea for a cuddly toy to sell in the tourist trap shops, but not to be taken seriously at all.
It was probably a great idea to get tourists up into the Highlands in the 1930's, but it's probably run it's course by now, as there are other reasons for tourists to visit the Highlands. The Grey Man is quite interesting as I'm a bit more open to the idea of Sasquatch & the Yeti, however the ranges for both of them are infinitely bigger than Ben MacDhui & the Cairngorms, so I'm more inclined to favour the idea that the Grey Man is associated with a form of delirium, probably brought on by low cloud, fog, infra-sound (perhaps caused by the geography of the surrounding mountains & the wind), and even the notion that there is something there - all of these factors could trick the mind into feeling the ethereal Grey Man.
Despite my real reservations on these two in particular I did enjoy the video, as always.

I have sern a alligator gar in the southeast that had a 3ft hrad. Gar are known to live longer than humans and are not afraid of us. Later that year from the bridge we saw about 50 baby gars near the surface. A local creek had a 4-5 ft water mocassin we watched it swim up the creek proudly showing it's trianglar head. We never saw it again. A gar will eat even the most poisnous snakes like a worm. They use those razor teeth and go for the head. A gars scales are really from the dinosour age. Gars have been known to reach 7ft. Also while fishing i had baby 2-3 ft alligators sunning on the bank as i fished.....somewhere moma gator was hiding close by i never seen her. While in the south a report came from Georgia or Florida where a monster gator had been killed yhat had over a dozen dog collars in it 's stomach. Ppl saw some of the collars that were their prize racoon hounds. Alot of money went into those dogs. I think they reported the gator was way over 1000lbs.

bill please totally agree. I would also have to add that it's now probably the most documented Cryptid of the past 15-20 years. Land encroachment I feel. Forests etc disappearing, so causing displacement and less and less places / room for it to move without encountering people. We're constantly going into its 'territory' which in turn is prompting territorial behaviour being misinterpreted as attacks or acts of aggression.

Awesome, as always. BUUUUUUUT, could you please, please, PLEASE do something regarding Dogman. Not the Michigan, but things like the LBL campervan incident, various sieges etc etc

Have a listen too to some of the cases on 'Dogman Encounters Radio' you can clearly tell a lot of guests have been really f###ed up by what they've experienced. PTSD, breakdown of marriages/relationships, job losses, complete changes on hobbies and recreational interests.....the list goes on and on. Also, a lot of cases of military involvement, with the military turning up to an incident that hasn't been reported to anyone other than the local sheriff and even this has only been done minutes prior.
Anyway, outstanding episode yet again.....like it would be anything less!!!! Hahaha
    Kindest regards

I remember first hearing stories about a bunyip when i was a kid, at a wildlife park on a school excursion and thought it as aborognial mythology. When i got older i learnt of Australian Mega fauna and came to the conclusion that it could be Diprotodon optatum, and it had just been passed down for generations.

some Cryptozoologists think the Bunyip might be a type of undiscovered Pinniped, since aborigines describe the sounds it makes in a way reminiscent of seal or sea lion barking.
The Ropen would be a flying reptile. not a dinosaur. speaking of flying reptiles, the Kongamato from Africa is described similarly to the Ropen

Interesting how the creatures in "sightings" of prehistoric creatures NEVER look like the scientifically accurate depictions we now have, but rather the illustrations from the time period of the alleged sighting. If someone truly saw a living dinosaur, or other ancient survivor, it would be described as it truly looked, and not like every drawing in an outdated museum display , or kid`s book. The Ropen description is nothing like a living Pterosaur.
