Questions - that cav unit that ‘needed’ to fail his courage towards the end - was it an option for you to move him off the board edge. Would that have automatically ‘removed’ it?? Thanks

Man what a great battle report. Am I right in saying if you win a combat you don't have to make strikes though?
No you have to make strikes unless you have a special strike that specifically says you don't, such as Bash or Shield. Jacob using bash meant he wasnt killing any of Elias' troops toward the end

hi i have a question about magic exhaustion mechanics. Is there any rules about will payment for exhaustion spells or you can cast it once and have it casted until dead of the caster or reaches 0 of his points of will. so must he pay every round for it or not ? thx
Exhaustion spells are active after the caster casts it until the caster runs out of will but no upkeep is necessary. So spending a will or two to cast something like Blinding light or fury, if successful, will keep it active until you hit 0 will. Hope that makes sense mate!

I loved the game. Not to be 'that guy' but couldn't Thorin opt not to strike since the okenshield says 'may'? Just want to check my understanding.
You might be right, though it's always been my understanding that if you can make strikes you must do so. Honestly not sure in that situation, though in the end, it was much more exciting to have him have to make that strike!

Hey so im a bit new to the game so i have a question about something that happened around the 13:50 mark. When Thror and Dwalin killed the model they were in combat with, they then charged a different model after the model they were in combat with was slain. How is this able to happen as i cant seem to find it within the rules itself.
It's a heroic combat mate, check under heroic actions in the rule book
