- No, you didn't misread the title. Pastry Chef Claire Saffitz has returned to one of her earlier gourmet conquests: Pop Tarts. This time, she's making a simplified version of her original gourmet Pop Tarts so that anybody can make them from home using common kitchen equipment.
We also asked you to send in videos of you trying out her recipe and we got over 900 responses. Join Claire as she watches some of the videos to see the gourmet Pop Tarts people made.

i am watching this in january 2022 and it is bringing tears to my eyes. one of my favourite episodes. bon appetit had a great thing going, how utterly stupid of them to let this treasure trove of people they had slip out of their hands.

The part where Claire watches other people making her recipe like a proud parent is really the wholesome quarantine content we deserve.

@@katekramer7679 I think they definetly do! for example, people were requesting host swaps for the shows for quite a while to see how they'd do and they ended up filming it it for april fools :)
I don't think it's a matter of checking or not their social media, it's about how many people they thought would actually make the recipes, given how hard and time-consuming some of them are.
No, they haven't, they all have stated on many occasions that they don't read the comments, which is absolutely disgusting! They could care less about the feedback/criticism they get in the comment section, because they might accidentally read the 10 mean comments they get. I can't support/respect any TH-camrs that do not read or engage in the comments. The viewers are the reason their channel is successful, and they don't even have enough respect for us to read our comments, it's pathetic!

YES. Only the USA, Myanmar and Liberia use imperial weight measurements, so it really does make sense to have all measurements converted to metric.

Long time fan. I've seen every episode. This is my favorite one so far. Incredible idea and kind of exactly what I want the show to be. Bringing the recipes down to a level that makes them approachable is WAY better than perfect replication. The encouraging and sharing other people's attempts is also incredible.
