The interesting thing is that an official SN7 version of the title theme sort of exists via the NCR 8496 rendition heard in the Tandy 1000 version of Skate or Die (the 8496 was able to play sound samples in the first pulse channel; AFAIK the SN7 can't do that). This version sounds good!

The SN7 can play samples, but it consumes so much CPU power that nothing else can be done by the console while that is being played. But AFAIK it can't play samples AND the regular waves at the same time.

Yea Ultra Games was Konami's way of publishing more games on the NES since Nintendo of America would only allow publishers to release 5 games each year.
