The current iteration of the GBU-57 bunker buster bomb is reported to have the capacity to penetrate 200+ feet of earth before penetrating an additional 25 feet of armored concrete. If two B-2’s are deployed, the second plane can drop its ordinance into the colossal crater created by the first bomb thus penetrating an additional 200+ feet underground. This means that GBU-57’s already have greater penetrative power than a nuclear blast, without the radiological complications. Not satisfied with the devastatingly destructive capabilities of these “conventional” munitions, the USAF is continually working to enhance them with each new iteration that emerges every couple of years. If the Iranian regime believes its subterranean facilities provide it any real prophylaxis from aerial bombardment then they are sadly mistaken. In the current era of strategic bombing there is literally no place to safely hide.
The best defense is to not be spotted in the first place, really. That's always been true, but these days, it's doubly so. The bunkers that are the standard today make the old WW1 forts look like sandcastles, honestly. They're deeper, larger, and more reinforced than ever, but simultaneously it seems like they're more vulnerable too.
@@MUJUNKYexactly. Nasrallah could build as complex of a bunker possible and I’m sure he did, but Israel found it and we all saw the results. They literally turned the entire block into a sinkhole
a mop has the equivalent of 10 tons of tnt. The smallest nuke the americans have is a couple of kilotons. Also, nukes are air burst weapons. Therefore, the way the explosion works is different. If you air bust a mop it will not make a 200ft+ deep crater and the people will survive. You air bust a single digit kiloton nuke in the same place, everything for a couple of miles will be gone. Tell me again how the mop is more powerful than a nuke

@benrockefeller6334 Do you know what the US healthcare also has that every other nation you're comparing us against? 10 times more hospitals... building more every day... you know what else the US does that most other nations do not? Have a 7 year proving period on medications before they are allowed out to the public... You know what else the US doesn't have... a shortage of doctors and medical equipment unlike France and Britain and Ireland and Sweden and Norway and Denmark et al... so, yep we spend more... because we have more...

The cozying up to China has been a result of real politik as that was giving us our biggest bag but it predictably led to them infiltrating all levels of politics from the regions to the national stage on all sides of the political isle barring some of the smaller parties. This about face of the current leadership - which comprise of a coalition govt formed by a muppet, a corpse and a human thumb - is just a continuation of spineless and talent-less career politicians desperately flailing around to appease their selfish voter base and corporate sponsors. Gone are the days of real leadership as the voting population of this country becomes more disillusioned, apathetic and easily herded into policies that do them more harm than good. Do not believe the hype, NZ is a deeply conservative country that props up our tourist industry via lies while it sells its citizens futures to the lowest bidder. All the while resting on the laurels of political greats of yesteryear that had, not only vision but the spine to see it through, for ALL New Zealanders.
Tbf, the world can always use more food. If Russia gave up on pretending to be advanced, they could actually make progress terraforming their eastern reaches. The Houthi dont store anything in big quantities anywhere. I know. Because I spent 4 months in Houthi controlled Yemen in 2017 and I saw first hand what they do. It was obvious that the Houthi had made strategic decisions to spread not just their bombs in multiple locations but also vehicles of all kind. You can literally see this everywhere. When driving from Sanaa to Hodiedah or Sanaa to Sadaa, both journies I have done, you can see the sides of mountains carved into small tunnels/caves and boxes of weapons stored there. Its not hidden. Anyway, the fact that the Houthis high sea terrorism is actually going to cause Egypt much more economic damage than Israel, and also has sped up the changing of far east sea routes to actually utilise the new Iraq port of Faw ( in construction right now and will be one of the largest container ports in the world allowing for freight to by-pass the Suez canal completely, rendering the Houthi response counter productive) is a moot point now. The dye has been cast. These supply chain routes are going to change. I'm available for middle east geo political consultancies if anyone wishes to reach out... cheers.
@loresma77 because the new port is going to be directly connected to the Turkish border point in north Iraq once the new railway and motorway are built. These are also in development. The aim was always to offer an additional route to the EU, the actions of the Houthi just confirms it's a great idea. Here in the US I have 2 neighbors who have more that 7 boats between them. They're pleasure boats obviously but given new zealands well... lack of a proper military I'd wager they're probably more heavily armed (2nd amendment and all that)
Between Florida and Texas, you could probably find enough rednecks, old planes and tanks/ifv’s/APC’s to give new Zealands entire military a run for its money
Clearly you've never served and don't understand how thos works so let me give you a couple pointers 1. There are more guns in the US than that little shithole nation has people 2. That entire nation wouldn't cover 3 of our midsized states 3. In the event of a civil war entire military bases from active guard and reserve all with material and armories would defect. Putting those assets into the hands of not Washington DC. 4. If a pattern of states leaving the union happens and a state like north Dakota decides to play for the other team then Washington would be forced into talks and suing for peace. That's because on its own north Dakota would be 3rd largest nuclear power on earth with all those ICBM's in their silos. And before you cry foul and say those warheads would be useless think again. Every single warhead in the US nuclear arsenal is of the thermonuclear type aka hydrogen bombs. Those weapons use a 20ish kiloton plutonium or uranium implosion device as a detonator, so while a rogue acting state of N.D. probably couldn't use the fusion stage of those weapons, their primaries could absolutely be removes and used separately. And each one of the 20 kiloton primaries equals the blast of the weapon used on Nagasaki so they'd make one hell of a bargaining chip. 5. Any civil war would be an asymmetrical one, at first anyway, and there are a few hundred thousand tested combat vets who spent 20 or so years fighting just that kind of war. We know insurgency tactics, we know how to cultivate allies and information and we are all pretty familiar with how effective ied's can be. Being on the short end of that particular stick will suck but the government has given us plenty in the way of education on how those wars are fought. And we aren't dirt dumb illiterate soap averse hajis using shit the soviets left behind and whatever could be brought in from other shitholes like Iran, we're all fairly educated with access to modern weapons and tech 6. The united states is huge with a pretty big population so that b2 and other assets will be great at defending important static targets like the capitol but offense might be off the table. Your talking about fighting people dispersed over a country 3000 miles from sea to sea and what 1000 mi wide good fucking luck with that
Oh so the government is going to bomb… what itself? Who is going to work the factories? The mines? Farms? And while it may be easy to convince pilots to bomb foreign targets, Domestic targets, particularly with new optics allowing clear images of your target… naw brah. Not to mention the damage to infrastructure, the US is not Russia, we aren’t going to use bombers on ourselves. If you think that guns are useless, ask yourself why we still have an Army at all.
You know nothing of asymmetrical warfare and it shows. B2 pilots and drone pilots have families that can be touched. Not only that oh you bombed a neighborhood guess what you just created more enemies... Stick to hockey.
NZ isn’t taking sides with China or the US. Choosing between your largest trading partner of your traditional Anglophile allies is a bad position to find yourself in. NZ and the rest of the pacific islands don’t want to get involved in these spats as it is bad for the South Pacific.
Historically, you'd be correct. However, the muppet the corpse and the human thumb are not the most adroit international players. They have effectively pissed their pants and gone running to our historical allies.
I wouldn't refer to and the actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the "Iranians". What they do internally and externally actively doesn't serve the interests of actual Iranian people, and also actively hurts the real Iranians. Best to just call them as the Islamic Republic and nothing more.

I was really hoping this would be the Megaprojects landfill video.
Thank you for news that we don't get to hear in new Zealand
I continue to appreciate the work of this channel. Thank you!
You KNOW you messed up when the US whips out the polygons
the fewer polygons we use on delivery, the more we can spend on ordinance
@@MUJUNKYgood point! Invisibility wins again
He didn’t say it was more powerful. He said it had greater penetration capability. A mop can hit a target deeper than the explosion of a nuke.
Funfacts , the b2 is almost 45 or so years old. We don't have free Healthcare because we gotta pay for unhealthcare first.
Nah, that's just normal corruption. The US spends a genuinely astronomical amount of money on healthcare per person, yet has a terrible healthcare system. The US spends more money per person than many countries with Universal Healthcare. It would be cheaper to have the government just pay for all healthcare procedures and medicine, while negotiating with drug manufacturers to get the prices as low as possible.
Warfronts blows regular media coverage out of the water 🎉
Sad to see Sudan being ignored by mainstream media.
I think New Zealand has 7 ships now.
On the upside, it discovered a reef.
Simon I am a proud former U.S. Marine I've studied history, economics & current world events for 30 years & ive also been a HUGE fan of all your channels. You definately know what your talking about. Your funny as hell sometimes too. Your line: the B2 Bomber with great stealth capability & flying too high for S.A.M.s, all but guaranteed the B2 would nail its targets! Lol, love it.
The b2 pilot finally getting a piece of the action:*insert clip of ted*"my turn aholes"
That's very funny
He may have been asleep lol they rotate, and I don't think they need both pilots to press the drop bombs button 😅
Don't knock the Chair Force.
$2 billion if you include development cost*
The plane, does not in fact, cost two billion dollars. It's less than 750 million, the reason being we haven't set up an assembly line for them because we're stupid.
"Stealthy US crater maker, that's me B2!"
8:30 The best part about this is, the B2 fleet is based out of the center of the U.S…. We are Mr Worldwide
The script makes it sound like the terrorists did stick to attacking Israeli-related vessels. That connection got weaker and weaker every attack to the point where they're just chaotically attacking anything.
these ppl arent terrorists, its those rootless invaders called Zio's that are a vile terrorist colony
That's what I thought. It was basically a "Shoot on sight" for the Houthis.
Oh, that lie dissipated almost immediately.
Read somewhere that the info for which boat to atack was given to them by russia but that might just be misinfo.
The connection didnt get weaker and weaker. If there is A connection, they attack it, the ammount of connection irrelevant. "israeli" owned? Israeli crewed? Israeli company? Israeli products? Towards israel? 1% israeli stake? Yes. (Oh, and plug in USA and UK anywhere it says israeli, and its also gonna get sunk).
Another chapter of don't touch America's boats.
New Zealand trying to dance with China is honestly kind of hilarious.
Yes especially when a captain crashed one of our only Military ships
Probably just thought the B2s could use some live target practice
Thank you, Warfronts team.
Once Alex Hollings posted a vid about the B-2 going after the Houthis, I was waiting for this to make it on a Simon channel lol.
As American our military is the definition overkill 😂
Yeah, wow... Took me a week to find 42 minutes to watch this and goodness me, what a mess! Thanks for keeping us informed! 😵💫
Speaking as a New Zealander, our leadership has been asleep at the wheel for decades - doubling down on farming and forestry as the main drivers of our economy instead of pivoting to IT and similar like Singapore has shown.
Honestly if they actually focused on making agricultural advancements, the sheer landmass available to them would make them unbeatable in a food market conflict. They could feed like half of the world if they can beat the icy conditions.
If it were conservative, the country would still be what it used to be. That's literally the definition of the word. Progressive policies is what ended with you rejecting the west based on nuclear virtue signaling, shackled to china in terms of trade and policy and selling out your futures. Because change is good right? It's racist and xenophobic to be leery of China right?
If it were a conservative nation, it would still be the nation it used to be. It would have kept the old status-quo. It's kind of the definition of the concept. it wouldn't have rejected the west based on nuclear virtue signaling. It wouldn't have cozied up to china for trade. It wouldn't be selling out your future to china. Those are all progressive policies. Change is good right?
If it were a conservative nation, it wouldn't have done any of what you're griping about. Keeping the old status quo you are so nostalgic for is quite literally the definition of the concept. You wanted to virtue signal, you wanted change. You got it. Deal with it.
B-2 is the "Find out", which inevitably comes after "Fucking around".
Love your channel. Better yet your voice and delivery is very 1940’s nostalgic radio. Good on you!
They found out firsthand why we don't have free health insurance.
Cmon, we haven't *officially* been at war for over a decade. When the chance arises to use the coolest stuff you take it. Totally unnecessary and didn't tell iran anything they didn't already know, but still.
11:05 sound effects are on point😂😂
@ 3:38 are we all going to ignore him referring to war as a game of whack a mole.....LMFAO!!!!!!!!
This dude has like 6 channels. I respect the grind
More than that I believe
Overkill is underrated.
8:15 i love that its literally just MOP its very fitting given its purpose
Woah Ireland punches well above it's weight
You should talk about the B-2 a bit in this video
It’s worth repeating… DONT f with the boats!
The editing at 10:25 makes it seem as if the guy shooting his machine gun causes that large explosion a second later 😂
Houthis "look.... Allah has sent us a giant boomerang!"
B2 pilots "yeah errrr..... catch this!"
Yeah good that is y i lost my home with an added element of trauma
That's funny 😁

great vid, thanks
This is the military equivalent of Arnold Schwarzeneger jiggling his pecs around before battle in Conan.
I’ll be back
Houthis before b2: Houthis
Houthis after b2: Whothis
I thought Simon already had a channel for this kind of content
If you’re thinking of warographics than it’s the same channel, they changed the name.
it's not the bomb, it's the payload. and as it turns out, you CAN put a price on sending a message.
I live for the comment section. absolute gold
Having Jihad as a first name is wild for a political analyst
I have an ex whose first name that was.
I don't really see it as that weird. People in the west name their kids "Christian," and all other kinds of biblical names, why wouldn't other cultures do similar?
@@Julianna.Domina lots of people called "Holy war" in Christian countries...
@@Julianna.DominaJihad is an Islamic word meaning holy war & genocide such as Muslim Turks using jihad to justify genocide against Armenians in Ottoman turkey. That’s why you hear “jihad” being shouted when Muslims try to exterminate an ethnic or religious group. It’s ridiculous you tried to downplay its meaning by comparing it to the name Christian which doesn’t mean war, genocide, death or anything sinister like Jihad does. Biblical names like John or Mary don’t call for the destruction of anyone.
@@Julianna.Dominano we have two types of the word jihad one is a verb pronounced with an a like saying ahhhh and one is a softer a like a sudden realisation
You see Westerners named Christian yes, but you don't see Westerners called "Crusade" or "Crusader"
It would be considered cringe at best and offensive at worst.
Who's down with OPG
US Navy
Who's down with OPG
Not the Houthi
You down with OPG
B2s are in the party!
.....This feels more like an indication of American weakness and Houthi strength than the reverse.
Just remembered the video of new airforce pilots reacting to their assigned airplanes, I hope that new B2 pilot is out there
in short, the b2 is effectively a flying ''you don't want this smoke''
That sweater is a vibe
As a kiwi who watches many of your channels im always happy when we get a mention. Also you are not saying the PMs surname correctly FYI
Pronounced Lux-in not Lux-on.
I just call him the human thumb. Its easier to distinguish between him the muppet and the corpse
I'm available for middle east geo political consultancies if anyone wishes to reach out... cheers.
How does a port in Iraq solve for having to use the Suez canal ?
@loresma77 because the new port is going to be directly connected to the Turkish border point in north Iraq once the new railway and motorway are built. These are also in development. The aim was always to offer an additional route to the EU, the actions of the Houthi just confirms it's a great idea. Ta very much khat eating stupid Houthi, that's what I say. 👍.... also Google TIR convention and Iraq... bit technical but it's another supply chain tool that benefits Iraq.
Isn't Iraq entangled deep with Iran? Look in a different way, Iran might benefit even more by putting Egypt on the sidelines.
@@Anverse-14Weakening Egypt would make Iran stronger in relative terms in the greater region: they still have the ability to control the Strait of Hormuz. Shipping out of Iraq would give Iran the ability to threaten both oil transport and freight transport.
@@Anverse-14 Yes and no. While there is a large Iranian influence in Iraq its not as much as many think and Iraq is trying (!) to make its own way... difficult though that may be.
Amusing and informative. Carry on!!!!!
Finally called in that B-2 care package.🤣
Iran is having more than enough trouble with F35s.
Unless we’ve been secretly using it, this is to get it warmed up for more.
*RNZN now has 7 vessels 🤣
Put it into perspective, NZ has an economy a third of Australia. And Australia has an economy that's 10 times smaller than the USA
And half of the US multibillioners, so ship numbers can increase rather rapidly
Here in the US I have 2 neighbors who have more that 7 boats between them. They're pleasure boats obviously but given new zealands well... lack of a proper military I'd wager they're probably more heavily armed (2nd amendment and all that)
Between Florida and Texas, you could probably find enough rednecks, old planes and tanks/ifv’s/APC’s to give new Zealands entire military a run for its money
The Medium is the Message

It's crazy that there hasn't been a real peer adversary for any of this tech and we are already on to the next generation.
one of the best youtube channels
Not the way Simon says Luxon 😂😂
2A folks need to take note of this.
Im not saying you cant fight back.. but this is what would happen unless you found a way to prevent it.
Clearly you've never served and don't understand how thos works so let me give you a couple pointers
1. There are more guns in the US than that little shithole nation has people
2. That entire nation wouldn't cover 3 of our midsized states
And we aren't dirt dumb illiterate soap averse hajis using shit the soviets left behind and whatever could be brought in from other shitholes like Iran, we're all fairly educated with access to modern weapons and tech
0:25 if you are going to state local time it helps if you state where it's local too. It's been happening a lot lately and i've finally had enough.

Thanks man
A message to Iran? Naw bro EVERYONE
Thanks!
USA. USA. USA. USA.
I wouldn't refer to and the actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the "Iranians". What they do internally and externally actively doesn't serve the interests of actual Iranian people, and also actively hurts the real Iranians. Best to just call them as the Islamic Republic and nothing more.
"It's not about the money, it's about the message!" -Joker. It wasn't about Houthis, their ability to fight back or not, or it being overkill. It was a message to other aggressors, the Houthis were just the sounding board.
What voice changer are you using for that microphone
I’m fine with the US sending our pilots on basically training runs. Let them get the experience. Gotta stay fresh - but I’m firmly opposed to any serious action by the US in the region. But let the B2 spread its wings a little bit
