That ad at 0:54 is right about garages today. Most garages don't even have cars in them anymore, most of the time people just store all of their junk in their garage.
I can relate. Me and my family just moved to a new house recently, and we have been using the garage for the cars, and there's plenty of space for two. If anything, I'd use the garage if I manage to get a nice car, like my dream car, an RX-7 FD.
These commercials came out when I was 9 and I'm 32 now. I've believed that cars have feelings for years and I'm sure these commercials are responsible for that line of thinking ;)
Family Guy lead me here. From the studio that made Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run, Shaun the Sheep, Timmy Time, Flushed Away, Arthur Christmas, Pirates! Band of Misfits, and Early Man.
Wow these commercials are great. Very nostalgic too, i dont remember seeing any on Tv growing up (I probably did tho), but they're still very nostalgic...back when commericals were good and actually informative on what they were trying to sell you, not just garbage music and chaotic animations like they are today.
Yeah, from the same makers of Wallace and Gromit! That's why I used to buy those cars! But now I lost interest due to being more overly obsessed with Nintendo shit and anime (my new things since 2009) nowadays lol.
When I was four I use to collect these cars, and I'd would get excited when I see the commercials. Sam the sedan was one of my favorite cars along with the police car, the car at 6:11, the taxi car and this red car made in 1995 and one that came with a horse trailier.
I have several of the toy cars - Tony Turbo - Tina Turbo - Wendy Wagon - Nando (The first one I got as a kid) - Pax Power - Trevor Tow Truck - Tyler Taxi - Leo Limo
This is what Cars should've been, but then they would've gotten sued? i dunno, But i love these cars better than the ones on Cars obviously. I had the toys they sold of them at the gas stations when i was a kid they were so cool.
Even though some of these commercials aren't made in the 2010s, (9:27 and 3:08 being the only ones from the 2010's) it makes me feel nostalgic about that time.
I FOUND THE BLUE CAR! O_O My mother once said it could be out on December but never seen it and now I finally realized that not all cars are ever produced but the blue car appeared to be back and still only in commercials when all those collectibles got discontinued due to lack of demand, SHAME ON YOU UNLOYAL CUSTOMERS! :(

dude I thought these commercials were so funny when I was a kid and would always bug my mom to go to chevron when she said we needed gas lol. The day I saw these things as real life toys in behind the counter when she was paying I lost my shit lol
Had to come back to my child hood. Its a shame some of my cars aren't in good condition but most are. Not sure if i would sell them since they mean so much to me

It was Family Guy that led me here.
I absolutely love how the windshield wipers are their eyebrows. Such simple, subtle, brilliant character design.

Nick Park made those chevron commercials.
This is so freakin cool. How could I forget about this?

it is
@@DrawsomeDrawer Really so why do they have American accents then?

Can confirm it was Aardman. Most of their commercial work is for US or Japanese brands. Animation done in UK. Voice work recorded in native country.

You mean with an American accent.
@@onewholovesvenison5335 Technically we would call it a language, while the Brits speak English/Scottish/Welsh, we speak American.

I'm assuming this is the inspiration for that one family guy skit😂
(2:07) that red car looks like lightning McQueen from cars
That looks nothing like lightning mqueen
It sounds like rocky balboa as a car
I have alot of Chevron cars, they r cool. The ice cream trucks makes the ice cream truck sound and the ice cream scoop moves.

the Mystery Machine would star in one of those Chevron ads to explain why she feels misused or ignored.

Clowntrooper Same animation studio: Aardman.
The talking car in the Mechanic one looks like a Shelby Cobra
