I think the cult was trying to recruit her and the other people involved in the production, which felt like harrassment from one point on. She was the one who decided to promote her hairline and drinks at the same time of the movie. She said what she said, even if the company tells you to promote one way, she could have stood up to them. She has the power. The money she lost is her own fault.
Plus, the marketing thing (which I'm still not convinced Blake wasn't directly involved in producing those marketing guidelines in the first place), said not to FOCUS on the DV, but did point out that it may come up. It did not say "completely ignore the fact that there's any DV in this movie". Since the topic was being asked about in interviews by the interviewers, it would have still been within that directive to discuss it briefly, rather than basically accuse DV victims of being stalkers! Honestly, Lovely could not have handled those interviews and promotions more terribly if she tried.

She has 13 causes of action, aka-what she is suing for. The first one is sexual harassment and the other 12 include claims for labor harassment, hostile work environment, emotional distress, negligence, breach of contract. Just so people know, all these 13 different causes of action have different elements that need to be proven. She may win on proving breach of contract, but may lose her claim for sexual harassment or the one for intentional infliction of emotional distress (the hardest to prove) she didn’t just sue him for emotional distress.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what a complaint is in this context. In CA you have to file a complaint to get permission from the court to sue for workplace issues like hers. You legally cannot just jump right into the lawsuit. A complaint (legal term) is not the same as complaining. Anyone can sue for libel and slander you don’t need permission from the court to do that so he could throw up his lawsuit as soon as he wanted to, her hands were tied to the proper channels and it can take 60 days from when the complaint was filed to when she gets the answer from the court on wether or not she’s allowed to file a lawsuit starting with the material provided in the complaint.

The only part of this I will comment on is them inviting Justin to their house to “talk”. It’s weird and sneaky. I can’t bring a coworker home for my parents or partner to have a work related conversation with them because it’s none of their business. If I have an issue I have to follow the correct channels at work and ensure it’s properly documented and then vent to my partner outside of it all. At no point should Ryan been involved (even if the sexual harassment allegations are true) and Blake and Justin should not have met one on one to have that discussion. There are procedures in place to avoid this exact situation. I won’t comment on anything else except this because all parties seem to agree about this weird “meeting” in Blake’s and Ryan’s penthouse.
The entertainment industry works differently. Directors and producers will invite the cast to their home all the time. Maybe even do auditions at their home. That’s just how they work.

I think she did all of this because she wants to direct and no one would give her a chance, her only way was hijacking this movie from Justin Baldoni (which has a lower celebrity status) by using her and her husband's relationship with Sony as a pressure tool. I'm sure she keeps going because she wants the rights for the sequel and officially direct it.
I think the cult was trying to recruit her and the other people involved in the production, which felt like harrassment from one point on. The rest of the people on set probably encouraged her to try to take charge just so they don't have to deal with the cult members so much, regardless of the end product.

I think I believed her more when his lawsuit came out because why was his evidence not actually going against what she said? He didn't deny any of what she said happened. He just made it sound like she gave him the wrong impression. He was the director and should have professional boundaries. Plus, the marketing thing (which I'm still not convinced Blake wasn't directly involved in producing those marketing guidelines in the first place), said not to FOCUS on the DV, but did point out that it may come up. It did not say "completely ignore the fact that there's any DV in this movie". Since the topic was being asked about in interviews by the interviewers, it would have still been within that directive to discuss it briefly, rather than basically accuse DV victims of being stalkers! Honestly, Lovely could not have handled those interviews and promotions more terribly if she tried.

She has 13 causes of action, aka-what she is suing for. The first one is sexual harassment and the other 12 include claims for labor harassment, hostile work environment, emotional distress, negligence, breach of contract. Just so people know, all these 13 different causes of action have different elements that need to be proven. She may win on proving breach of contract, but may lose her claim for sexual harassment or the one for intentional infliction of emotional distress (the hardest to prove) she didn’t just sue him for emotional distress.

You have a fundamental misunderstanding of what a complaint is in this context. In CA you have to file a complaint to get permission from the court to sue for workplace issues like hers. You legally cannot just jump right into the lawsuit. A complaint (legal term) is not the same as complaining.
Anyone can sue for libel and slander you don’t need permission from the court to do that so he could throw up his lawsuit as soon as he wanted to, her hands were tied to the proper channels and it can take 60 days from when the complaint was filed to when she gets the answer from the court on wether or not she’s allowed to file a lawsuit starting with the material provided in the complaint.

Why is she now suing JB for Mental Pain and Anguish? Why didn't she do that the first time? It's because she manipulated evidence and she knew what she did. She went the complaint route so that WE would judge Justin before anything got a chance to go to court. If it takes 60 days to get granted, she only needed 1 week and she ruined his perception in the public's eyes.

The only part of this I will comment on is them inviting Justin to their house to “talk”. It’s weird and sneaky. I can’t bring a coworker home for my parents or partner to have a work related conversation with them because it’s none of their business. If I have an issue I have to follow the correct channels at work and ensure it’s properly documented and then vent to my partner outside of it all. At no point should Ryan been involved (even if the sexual harassment allegations are true) and Blake and Justin should not have met one on one to have that discussion. There are procedures in place to avoid this exact situation. I won’t comment on anything else except this because all parties seem to agree about this weird “meeting” in Blake’s and Ryan’s penthouse.
The entertainment industry works differently. Directors and producers will invite the cast to their home all the time. Maybe even do auditions at their home. That’s just how they work.

How do you know she was never planning on filing a LAWSUIT (not charges)? She clearly was (and DID). She had to file with civil rights dept first and they look into it. Did you not watch the video?

Did you read her complaint? Did you read the text messages? He provided context for some but there are a bunch he didn't. And idk what kind of context could explain him sending hit pieces and saying "this is what we need" and "he wants to bury her" etc.
Justin and his lawyers know they won't win the libel case against the NY times. They used correspondences received in a subpoena and theyre allpwed to report accusations (especially ones in offical court proceedingings). His lawsuit is purely to put out his narrative. There's no way he can prove the times acted w malice. This is the same "manipulation" you're accusing her of.
Why don't you read Justin's complaint (the lawsuit) and read Blake's and read the NY times article with all the text messages.
I don't particularly like blake and hate the way she promoted the movie but it's clear his pr team coordinated a smear campaign at the behest of Justin.
Justin is saying Blake was difficult, while Blake is saying there was sexual harassment.
Read the full complaints and the text messages before you pick a side. And remember the entire cast is on Blake's side.

I want to believe her so badly because I feel like we’ve come so far in terms of women being able to stand up for themselves in court in response to harassment or worse. I also want to believe him because from what little ik of him he’s spent A LOT of his career advocating for women. This entire thing just feels like it’s setting back the premise of the me too movement; to believe women but understand that not every man is bad. If we don’t believe Blake, we’re saying that the woman is lying about her harassment. If we do believe her, than we have to admit that Justin’s entire ‘for the woman’ persona is a lie and that he actively did these disgusting things / implemented this smear campaign while preaching that men do the opposite. Either way, someone who fans thought was for the women is actually a piece of shit. Kinda a lose lose situation.

I am just a viewer and movie fan but I know when a guy is being messed with and for sure Justin Baldoni seems to be getting the raw end of the deal here. He worked hard on the movie only to seemingly be pushed aside by Ryan and Blake. Again, I don’t know what happened because I wasn’t there but the reports emerging about the movie seem to say Justin was being pushed around.
The theory of Justin and Blake falling in love is INSANE. Some people really spend too much time online. They think they’re onto something when in reality these people are just thinking this situation to death and want the most drama.
