@ no one will believe you who has read the New York Times article (fact checked) or her civil rights complaint. You don't get an article written with no evidence other than your word. The article shows his text messages and those of his team.
Allegedly he's suing for libel because they left out a smiling face emoji and we'll see how that goes for him in court.
But since he's disputing the receipts she brought it's a false statement to say she didn't bring any.

@laurajoakimson2479 no one will believe *me? I've read Blake's complaint and then lawsuit... as well as Baldonis lawsuit. I said what I said because that's what I've read.

@laurajoakimson2479 and to be clear, Blake didn't produce screenshots, the NYT did in their article. She may have provided the screenshots (which from my examination, were not fully provided) but she has not physically provided any proof in her lawsuit... besides her word of mouth.

Agreed. Men's rights is about reducing inequality under the law, and fair treatment when equality is unachievable or undesirable, not about own-group bias. We don't automatically believe a man in all situations. We may withhold judgment until there's more evidence, or we may form opinions based on the evidence and suspicions we have, while acknowledging uncertainty and considering challenges to our position.

‘Feminist’ here, don’t automatically believe anyone, esp these days. These two folks are very privileged and I don’t have the energy to unravel their nonsense, and I highly doubt either would care about systemic nature of any kind of violence, especially where it’s rooted in off the tracks capitalism ♥️

Why make a video and not have your facts straight? You called him by a different name and you do realize its not just him suing for the $250 million right?! .. and yeah they deserve it all if it proves to be a false story!!

Baldoni is a feminist, you see? no love lost. Where as in the msnosphere Ryan's reputation as controlling and resentful of Scarlett's success and his demand she prioritize his career are popular. And he has the gall to say 99% feminist would side with Blake uncritically, while him admitting to going by his feelings (intuition) in finding Blake and Ryan more credible but not even looking at any evidence!

I believe an important part of the story is the hate campaign against Blake lively prior to this and ow many (women) hoped on
While I myself am always vary I do believe that Blake has a lot of evidence on her side, tho ofc we must remain open for more evidence

I don't believe Baldoni, either, and I was saying this 4 months ago. I also believed he deserves his time in court, and I don't immediately believe Blake Lively at everything.
I refuse to accept or participate in this new campaign to frame it as "both things can be true at once" narrative. This is possibly a strategy by predators to create a false equivalent, in hopes that people will ignore the victims accusations, and there's no real justification on trying to destroy someone for being a "mean girl."
I'm a man's rights advocate, but I was also a first responder for 13 years, and I've had many friends and family, women, who were abused.
I was suspicious of the hate train, which seemed weird to me, and when people explained why she's so horrible they sited he snubbing of Baldoni, which taught me about the movie tension. When I asked about that, they talked about how wonderful he was and about the TED Talk.
I'll sum up the talk. Basically, he was a muscular stud of an actor who was only in movies to take off his shirt when he decided to make independant films with deep meaning, and became an advocate for men struggling with toxic masculinity, and started a podcast advocating women's rights. He was raised a manly man and everything was going well for him. He had a close father, and lots of masculine friends, a career, and relationships, until he started feeling anxious and didn't feel better until he started sharing his emotions.
Sounded like complete nonsense, but let me assure you that the women LOVE this. I don't blame them. I consider it an unrealistic expectation, like any other, and affirming of the narrative that men are flawed. The truth is that men like him don't exist.
I immediately started seeing the red flags of a DARVO campaign, even now, as I mentioned with the possible current narrative. As it is, I'm sure we're all wanting to see evidence. This may or may not have a resolution, one way or the other.

      1. No.
      2. I haven't seen the movie, and I still don't know what happened between them.
The accusation isn't actually about SA, if I'm not mistaken. It's about whether Baldoni conducted a PR campaign against Lively, and whether that was a violation of a contract that Lively had with the studio to prevent her from going public with her demands.
The thing that has me associating this to SA is the pattern that the PR campaign appears to follow. It follows the pattern of a DARVO campaign, which isn't always just used for assault. It's used to manipulate opinion. Regardless of what happened between them, it's important to call out this kind of manipulation for the sake of DV and SA victims, male or female.
I could go deeper into the patterns of a DARVO campaign, and how they work, but this was already a ridiculous platform to write this much on, anyway.

Actually .. the hate train had NOTHING to do with "snubbing" Justin.. not sure who you were talking to!
It had to do with how she promoted a DV movie, her stupid clothes for the role, being too old to play Lily, promoting her alcohol brand (which she doesn't drink) and her horrible hair care brand and overall being a rude person! None of which included Justin. Heck, I didn't even notice any of the drama between them until she came out with her NYT article! 😂

Ok, how? What specifics? Have you looked at the evidence?

  • @Spiritofhope5
    @Spiritofhope5 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Ok, lets see.
You've always felt the Reynolds were the good ones? Ok but your intuition is not evidence. There is actual irrefutable evidence, mountains of it and it doesn't support Likely's allegations at all. As to your many assumptions in this video. Point by point.
And I'm a feminist who didn't immediately believe Blake, or Amber. I in fact am very much against false accusations and push for changing to "Hear all claims and impartial investigate all claims" instead of " Believe all women."
And we have a large group fighting what we feel is "patriarchy in a skirt" within the feminist movement. A term coib3d by s feminist author and leader I worked with on this. Heard of Phyllis Chessler?
I have a son. But also i was personally precluded from reporting a number of SH incidents because if a then recent false accusation by a female. The falsehood was easily proved so not only do i know some women lie ( Between 2 and 5% in fact) I also know how damaging that is to innocent accused and women's credibility.
So no. 99% of us don't automatically just believe. I get you may want to paint all feminist with the same brush but we aren't as monolithic as you seem to believe. And our group argues the same about men.
As to the amount Justin is asking for being a sign of "narcissism " You as an MRA must know such an allegation has the potential to destroy not just his career but his employability. Not to mention his production company. Loss potential income already numbers in the 100s of millions from concrete projects lost. You seem to not know it isn't just Justin suing, it's his production company too, which has already been affected.
So to me, your comment says you didn't do your homework and just went with your "feelings" and intuition. Funny that, people like you often argue women are "guilty" of doing precisely this and somehow it makes us unreliable.
    So strike 2?
Have you read the evidence presented? An MRA must of course insist that evidence should be the overarching factor. Don't you?
I'm curious if you saw the mountain if evidence Justin presents? Can you comment?
Or are you automatically siding with Blake because Ryan has spoken in favor of a more "traditional marriage?" and is seen favorably in the "mesosphere" whereas Justin being a staunch feminist is perceived unfavorably? You know, sort of how you accuse feminist of unthinkingly supporting any female claim just because they are women? Food for thought dude. If your really about fairness you'd look into the evidence and report on it.
