REMEBBER TO CLEAN THE TIMBER FIRST !! (ideally with a pressure wash)… AND make sure the timber has dried off.
Lighter stain color can be applied by spray gun, but generally a brush will give a better, longer lasting finish.
For this job I used ALL water based Stains (they are an OIL stain of sorts, but are in a water base, which is great new Stain technology.) all clean up can be done with water !!..

The dark stain is a mix of 2 parts BLACK BEAN to 1 part CHARCOAL, to make a really dark stain.
The lighter stain is a mix of 2 parts BLACK BEAN to 1 part RUSTIC OAK, to make a lightened version of the nice black bean hue..
