- The premise of the television series is Goldie, a manicurist, inherits a sixty million dollar fortune, including three children, from a rich client (Mr. Strickland) who passed away. In this episode Roy, Goldie's adopted son, is having trouble in his class with a school bully. Goldie comes up with a plan to help Roy, which is simply "Put on the gloves and come out fighting". TV sitcom fun stars Betty Hutton (as Goldie), Dennis Joel (Roy), Gavin Muir (Hollister), Tom Conway (Seaton Claudia Bryar (as Miss Jones), Patty Ann Gerrity (as Mary Lou), Bart Bradley (as Howard Belt), Jeane Wood (as Mrs. Belt), John Indisano (as Gym Teacher), and Edward Werke & Terry Rangaro (as Boys). Episode aired on CBS April 7, 1960. Transferred from 16mm b-w film.
Bart Bradley aka Bart Braverman might be better known for playing Bobby 'Binzer' Borso on Vega$ and little Giuseppe on that episode of I Love Lucy in Italy.
He also played the bully, Ace, on the Sid and Marty Krofft show, “Magic Mongo”.

WHY do all put down Betty? Her show was so much more realistic than the phony Donna Reed show !!
Beatty is an industry legend. But the directors of this show were obviously 3rd rate hacks. She deserved so much better.

Too bad the script was so poor... hair and makeup is poor.
She was also opposite "THE DONNA REED SHOW" on ABC, and NBC's "BAT MASTERSON".

@Neal_R I cannot stand that parents tell kids to "handle it yourself." In adult life, if someone assaults you, you go to the cops. Press charges. But parents telling kids "learn how to fight" is pretty stupid. No wonder in 2023 our schools are so full of disgusting future adults.

Perhaps the single worst series TV episode of all time. She did this to herself, unfortunately.
