I have both the regular version and this version. Aside from the bootie fit, this version has waayyyy better ventilation. Even though the regular versions have good ventilation. To me, the cushion is a bit on the mushy side
@@FilipinoPride10 It's the same, if not, even better. Don't get the translucent traction like the shoe in the video. If you want a softer cushion get this one, but if you want more court feel get the regular version
I have the same 808 2 ultras and dont have any issues with the drop in midsole. Maybe because sammy doesnt weigh as much so his feet dont put as much of a pressure on it.
I think it's a decent looking shoe on top of being a solid performer. The typo/error on the heel of the 808 2 is very unfortunate. Once you notice it, you'll look at it every time you glance at the shoe. Real solid otherwise.

i don't seem to have a problem with playing on dusty courts with the translucent pair. Also its best to go true to size. thats probably why you prefer the other cushion
I literally just played in these and the traction was horrible. The translucent outsole picked up so much dust and I couldn’t wipe it off. I have 2 pairs of the regular 808 2s and 2 pairs of the ultras, the solid rubber outsole is definitely the way to go
others have been saying that it has been picking up a lot of dust but it should be good if you make sure to wipe it. My pair don't seem to have that problem though

I have the solid white outsoles and they had great traction on an outdoor dusty court
