The more i think about it the more i admire how izuru deals with his relationship with his family cos he’s always been very open about fighting with his mom sometimes, and yet based from his new year’s stories about his trip to his hometown he still talks very fondly of them (both his parents and his younger bros). he even shared how his mom assumed that “izuru might be a girl” just cos he cut his bangs in a cute way and wore pink shoes and then his mom even told him they accept him and all that 😂😭 i can imagine him just sitting there, bamboozled
