I cannot find a decent gray stick or liquid eye shadow either. I liked the Mary Kay one also. If you find one will you let us know? I can no longer use powdered eye shadow even with primer. So frustrating hunting on line over and over. Love your hair in this video.

I have never found a better hairspray for our high humidity in southeast Louisiana than Kenra 25. Just perfect. And it makes myth in straight hair looks thicker. Love your eye shadow today.
Hello Meli, I wanted to share a tip, the ONLY reason salon color lasts longer, is because they use 20% developer, so use your favorite box color, but the box developer is only 10 %, so go to sallys beauty supply and get a 20% developer, or get the schwartzkopf 20% developer on ebay, because it has bond protectors built in, so it protects your hair from damage, the regular developers do not. You can also pour a little of 20% developer into the one from the box and it will already last longer. Developers open the hair or just deposit on top. The stronger ones open the hair and deposit the color to the inside of the hair. I hope this helps. (P.S) the schwartzkopf permanent blondes are gorgeous as well and leave your hair super healthy looking)

Where I live in Australia, is also hot and humid sometimes I have a tower fan in my bathroom and I love it! It doesn’t take up much space and you do not get hot whilst doing yourself.

@@Melissa55 it does last the four weeks for me. I’m not totally gray, and the color in the box is my hair color except for the grays. I’m about 40% gray. I love it on the stubborn grays at the temple. My hair is also VERY thin on top, and I wear a topper. Now I’m going to try the Nioxin system you use because I need to start paying attention to haircare. I’ll let you know! PS I have a few vices - one is coffee creamer lol! Stay well and safe xoxoxo

Now I have missed 13 years of silver/black/and white, now half n half. So I could have POSSIBLY found a Husband if I went Blonde and not given in to the Grey. I just HATED going to hair dresser and the inconvenience of work hours and The No Time Slots my very requested lady too often ran out of. And back then, I thought I had Decades to go before I had to Find that darn ole Husband, who Never seemed to show up! And...I also stopped the hair cuts! So, I've had it grow down much too long to wear it down. I ONLY go once every 1 1/2 years for a trim! So I keep it up in a loose no fuss bun or in a Chignon at nape of my neck, for going out. But I have to put in lots of Back-coming (teasing) to cover those Balding spots all round Crown of my head! This breaks my heart! No more trendy short haircuts for me! I spray several sprays per thinning areas all over every night! What a chore My nightly routines are, Right??? But can't Stop using Minoxidil or else All my hair will fall out!!!! Gosh, It's a Blanking Witch for all the Upkeep I do JUST to MAINTAIN!!!!! Now, I have a call into a Surgical Opthamatologist to talk about uplifting my heavy eyelids so I can see again! I have to hot curl my eyelashes just to keep the lash serum I use nightly to give my straight lashes a curl that will hold maybe a few hours! But lashes too long now as my lids just flop over the new lashes! If not one thing...It's 5 more! I actually keep and save your video's for when a good time comes along so I can take my time to watch, re-watch, and then read all your loving Subs comments! So this is how much I love your channel and You! You are one of My Guilty Pleasures!!! And I sound just like you, so you sound Normal to me! And I'm born and raised in Charleston, SC, and raised my family in NC, so this is where I am home, where my children and Grandchildren are! God Bless you!

I tried Madison Reed a few years ago. The first couple of times it was okay, but after that my hair looked flat and dry. It's easier and less expensive to use drugstore color, I think. Thank you for this! Love you~
I used to have some Mary Kay products that I loved. We've moved a few times and lost track of any MK reps. Don't hear much about Mary Kay anymore but they had some good products!

Aw thank you. I usually buy it at Ulta. They will let you use points and they will run those big hair sales at times, where you can buy the big bottles of shampoo and conditioner at a good price. I haven’t done a video yet. I kind of want to wait until I see maximum results before I do one. Thank you!!!

I bought the Kenra hairspray based on your recommendation. Found it on sale on the Walmart website. Good hairspray but the best part is the smell. For some reason, it appeals to me. You should try the Essence blushes at CVS, $3.00 and so pretty!

We don't get mosquitoes in the UK. We barely survive the winter never mind mosquitoes 😆. Love your channel, you're so cheerful and upbeat. I still can't understand how you look so young though. I want what you're having😉
About those home dyes. My mom stopped going to the hair dresser in her early 40s, I was a young teen (14) and started doing my own hair (cutting it, yes!) and she did not want to go to the hairdresser by herself. She had colored her hair before, but she started cutting it, dyeing it and roller-setting it herself from then on. She has been doing that for 35 years, she's 75 now, and oh gosh... do the math on that sometime. We did! She has saved herself a brandnew car doing her hair herself for all these years. They charge an arm and a leg for color application, and it's just not right. In Belgium anyway. You don't leave the salon under 100 to 150 euro! Not to mention, you have to drive there, find parking and then the hours spent there (ugh). We definitely aren't among the women who get an "uplifted" feeling going to the hairdresser. No Sir. It's a chore going! But... you do save a lot, a lot of money doing it yourself, and it looks even better, because it's just what you want since you did it yourself! I have to say, Melissa, your hair looks amazing. I would just keep doing it!!!

You look beautiful. Your hair looks great. That purple grey eyeshadow is really pretty.
I use the wipes to take off eye makeup and will put in a ziploc bag to reuse. The wipes stay nice and moist.

@@Melissa55 Awe,...Think you LOVE your Blonde long hair! And once you Go Grey...You can Really never Go Back! I went Grey much too soon! Now I have missed 13 years of silver/black/and white, now half n half. So I could have POSSIBLY found a Husband if I went Blonde and not given in to the Grey. I just HATED going to hair dresser and the inconvenience of work hours and The No Time Slots my very requested lady too often ran out of. And back then, I thought I had Decades to go before I had to Find that darn ole Husband, who Never seemed to show up! And...I also stopped the hair cuts! So, I've had it grow down much too long to wear it down. I ONLY go once every 1 1/2 years for a trim! So I keep it up in a loose no fuss bun or in a Chignon at nape of my neck, for going out. But I have to put in lots of Back-coming (teasing) to cover those Balding spots all round Crown of my head! This breaks my heart! No more trendy short haircuts for me! I spray several sprays per thinning areas all over every night! What a chore My nightly routines are, Right??? But can't Stop using Minoxidil or else All my hair will fall out!!!! Gosh, It's a Blanking Witch for all the Upkeep I do JUST to MAINTAIN!!!!! Now, I have a call into a Surgical Opthamatologist to talk about uplifting my heavy eyelids so I can see again! I have to hot curl my eyelashes just to keep the lash serum I use nightly to give my straight lashes a curl that will hold maybe a few hours! But lashes too long now as my lids just flop over the new lashes! If not one thing...It's 5 more!
I actually keep and save your video's for when a good time comes along so I can take my time to watch, re-watch, and then read all your loving Subs comments! So this is how much I love your channel and You! You are one of My Guilty Pleasures!!! And I sound just like you, so you sound Normal to me! Oh that Mary Kay reminds me of a Clarins Midnight Flash that is discontinued.
I tried Madison Reed a few years ago. The first couple of times it was okay, but after that my hair looked flat and dry. It's easier and less expensive to use drugstore color, I think. Thank you for this! Love you~
I used to have some Mary Kay products that I loved. We've moved a few times and lost track of any MK reps. Don't hear much about Mary Kay anymore but they had some good products!

Aw thank you. I usually buy it at Ulta. They will let you use points and they will run those big hair sales at times, where you can buy the big bottles of shampoo and conditioner at a good price. I haven’t done a video yet. I kind of want to wait until I see maximum results before I do one. Thank you!!!

Hi Melissa, I enjoyed seeing all your favorites (and a few not so favorite) I just ordered the Lancome foundation stick. I wonder if Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown has a eye shadow stick that would match the Mary Kay one. Your hair looks pretty with the Revlon hair color. I think I watched a video of Angie's--Hot and Flashy and she gets her hair color online, but it is a salon type hair color and they mix it special for you. Thanks so much for the fun video. I bought the Kenra hairspray based on your recommendation. Found it on sale on the Walmart website. Good hairspray but the best part is the smell. For some reason, it appeals to me. You should try the Essence blushes at CVS, $3.00 and so pretty!

About those home dyes. My mom stopped going to the hair dresser in her early 40s, I was a young teen (14) and started doing my own hair (cutting it, yes!) and she did not want to go to the hairdresser by herself. She had colored her hair before, but she started cutting it, dyeing it and roller-setting it herself from then on. She has been doing that for 35 years, she's 75 now, and oh gosh... do the math on that sometime. We did! She has saved herself a brandnew car doing her hair herself for all these years. They charge an arm and a leg for color application, and it's just not right. In Belgium anyway. You don't leave the salon under 100 to 150 euro! Not to mention, you have to drive there, find parking and then the hours spent there (ugh). We definitely aren't among the women who get an "uplifted" feeling going to the hairdresser. No Sir. It's a chore going! But... you do save a lot, a lot of money doing it yourself, and it looks even better, because it's just what you want since you did it yourself! I have to say, Melissa, your hair looks amazing. I would just keep doing it!!!

It doesn't irritate my scalp but it will my face and neck if it gets on there - so I have to wash it before I take a bath in the sink or over the bathtub. It is strong isn't it? Take care!
