    I’m with you about the open concept homes. The noise. It just doesn’t stop. Thw other problem I’ve found is that lack of wall space translates into lack of places to set bookshelves, console tables, desks, and that sort of thing. I like walls, and I’m almost half convinced we were sold on open concept to benefit builders bottom lines, and not that it’s what’s best for modern living.

      I agree with you. I've owned two different homes. One open concept and the other with some division of the kitchen and dining nook. I much prefer the latter. I like lots of built in cabinets and storage. Also, this is spacious enough for my oversized furniture.

    • @LonnieBhi
      @LonnieBhi 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thought I was the only one who hates open concept. There's no privacy, you can smell the food being cooked from the kitchen everywhere in the house, room space is too loud, & overall doesn't feel cozy (esp with front doors right off the livingroom too with the street being right there, not fun when you have guests walk in, then bam, there's someone sitting on the couch watching tv getting interrupted. The modern homes don't seem to have built in storage anymore either, I find that ridiculous. Makes shopping for furniture more complicated than it needs to be.

    Beautiful house. I like the windows, but still wonder why MANY designers have large windows at the commode or the bathtub. Don't like that. I don't like carpet----whether it's a stick-built house or a modular or mobile home----gets dirty too fast and a pain to clean. Would rather have all LVP (or whatever you called it! 😜). It's very nice. And easy to clean!! I really liked the layout of this house and the vents in the floor! I think it would add considerably to the look if there was a fireplace. But, that's just me. I pray your family are all well. Happy Thanksgiving and God's blessing to your family and all the people who read this!

      I agree about the windows by the commode and/or tub. Definitely not a place for a neighborhood show.
      Also agree about the carpet. Especially in the dining room. It's so much easier to keep floors clean with lvp. And, it doesn't mess with allergies.

    Really nice setup the second floor offers a ton of space to later finish, off the bat what this house is missing is a walk in pantry, something this nice needs a walk in pantry I think it would round out the floor plan, I know me and my wife toured this house and that's the first thing she said when we walked into the kitchen if it had a walk in pantry this would be in the running! Great video's Chance we all appreciate your time and dedication driving around and doing videos of all there homes..

    I love open concept for two reasons one is for a party so I can be on the party and still be cooking or doing things in the kitchen and not be away from the guests and the most important part of open concept for me is if you have kids with different ages you can see who goes upstairs who stays downstairs and you can be watching the kid, cuz I was abused while my mother was so busy cooking in the kitchen when I was little girl. by an older friend of my brother. He was 5 years older and I was around 4 or 5 cause my birthday is in July and it was in summer.

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃. This home is absolutely hands down the best. And that price on the pic you showed is reasonable. Looks fabulous. God Bless you an your beautiful family.

    Carpet is best because it absorbs noises and soft on the feet and knees when cleaning. Rugs get dirty so for those who think that way with hardwood floors.. think! Also in the bedroom it’s soft and warmer on feet. I like it. Except for the bath and kitchen.

    Fluid floor plan. Great design. Only potential flaw in a lot of these homes might be ductwork being placed on the on the floor. The hassle of losing items down a vent and even limited furniture placement is a drawback.

    Gorgeous! I don’t love the carpet but the floor plan is exceptional. My hubby and I need a deep vanity tub tho…

    A rare dining room AND breakfast area! I love this one...hard to find options for prefabs.

    Hope y'all had a nice Thanksgiving. I really love the layout of this place. I really love the master bedroom and bathroom, and also the WIC as well. I love those shelves in the foyer, and also the section above the dining area, as well as the bay windows. I also really love the wrap around porch. I would put a couple of bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs or turn it into a game room.
