It will be 20 years in February of 2016
after the death of Toru Takemitsu, a
famous contemporary music composer.
His later years, he became a lot work of
rather tonal music than avantgarde music.
This "family tree" is the representative works.

是非ともCD化、DVD化を望みます。デュトワ／Ｎ響の武満は、いずれも香気に満ちた名演。「弦レク」「遠い呼び声の彼方に」しかCD化されていないのは理解に苦しみます。セクハラ騒動さえなかったら、もっと評価されて然るべき名演奏でしょう。

February 2016 was the 20th anniversary of the death of Toru Takemitsu, Japan's most well-known classical composer. In his later years he tended to employ more tonal elements in his compositions. "Family Tree" is a good example of this technique. It is significantly less dissonant than his earlier, more advanced works.
