@civsully1740 asked >So Kineer if you had a desired best legendary perks for your "Shattered Space" suit, helmet, and pack what would you want? If I found them or was using a mod to build my best set, I'd go for these roughly in this order. For Pack, Suit, Helmet ------------------------------- Armor-Plated -10% incoming Physical, Energy, and EM damage (Pack Only) Ablative -15% incoming Energy damage. Sturdy -15% incoming melee damage. Incendiary 10% chance to ignite nearby attackers. Reactive 10% chance to stagger nearby attackers. Mirrored 4% chance to reflect attacks. Repulsing 5% chance to disarm nearby attackers Bolstering Grants up to +100 Energy resistance and Physical resistance, the lower your health. Weapons (haven't fully searched all these, there are many other good ones) --------------------------- Anti-Personnel +10% damage against humans Staggering Small chance to stagger enemies.
For weapons I usually like double mag size and elemental, for automatic weapons I do the rapid and for shotguns and heavy weapons I do the titanium or lightweight.
Unlocking access to Far Harbor could be achieved by either completeing the quest that leads you to finding Nick in the vault under Swan's Pond, or stumbling across the Nakano residence while exploring. I've been told that the same can be done for Nuka World. Either wait for the appropriate level to trigger the radio station or stumbling across the Nuka World Transit Center while exploring.
Cool. I didn't know you could just stumble in and get it going. Will be interesting to see if we have get the distress signal. Theoretically they could lock it out but it does sound like they'd let us go if we were low level. I'll definitely take a low level character in sometime just to see.
Far Harbors only requirement is level 20. You'll automatically get the quest to go see Ellie at Valentines....but you can go straight to Kenji in the northeast to start it. Nuka World, I believe, will kick off at lvl 30 or so. I imagine SS will similarly be introduced.
It's good to go down the isolation perk tree to increase the power of your weapons and suits dramatically. Now with the Trackers Alliance quest line, you can buy legendary armor and weapons with astra.
The most important thing I have to do to prepare for 'Shattered Space' is get a new laptop! This way I can play 'Starfield' and progress to 'Shattered Space'! I'm enjoying your play-through with Alex!
Its funny about two days ago I went to NG because I wanted to hook up with Andreja before the DlC dropped, I also have the serpents embrace set up, but I get to the lodge and guess who's there, its evil Andreja, since I have the serpents embrace she gives me the artifacts. But I decided to kill her anyway since she murdered everyone including my parents. So I rushed to NG again and got a normal universe and now I got a few days to marry the woman I just killed in the last universe 😄. Ive gotten my new character up to about level 130, so hes pretty pimped out with gear and such. I haven't put any points into melee yet though, but im starting to get my shotgun leveled up, my thinking is if you come at me with a knife ill have the close quarters shotgun. Need to go ship shopping also. Look forward to seeing your videos on the DLC

It seems any gun that uses the heavy fuse has the issue.
The last I had heard on what triggers the DLC is that you had to complete One Small Step and then go to orbit at any location that doesn't have a competing POI (like the ECS Constant for example). Sounds like just taking off from Jemison should trigger it. Then you should receive the broadcast from the starstation.
I started a new game with Sepents Embrace, Taskmaster and Wa ted. The very first ship I hijiacked was a Varuun Hymn. While it still looks virtually the same, it's now a class C with decent equipment. I just made lvl 40 when Helene took my power. It won't be back on till 5 October. Oh Andeja is my companion of course.
I would say once you’ve done the majority of the quests and have gone through NG+ you should be ready for the DLC. I want to say I’m at level 45 when I hit NG+ the first round and I do all main quests and most of the bigger radiant quests.
That's a pretty reasonable general rule IMO. In many ways there's not much content in this game you can't successfully complete unless you're very under-level or you have the options cranked up very high. It's pretty forgiving.
yeah i love the HArcore mode of Extreme/Very Easy. until the game picks up a bit i bring it to Extreme/Normal or Hard but yeah it help s the pace and feel more like Fallout Survival wich IMO is just so well balanced.
While I have a ng3 level 121 main game play. on fri 9/27 I started a new game fresh level 1 (currenty level 34) I want to see shattered space in 1st Universe before any possible starborn options. Got Andreja as married, serpent trait, and starting Vulture quest for his Loot
Always wanted to try out lasers or particle guns but they have limited options compared to ballistics, hopefully they'll add more of those with the expansion? It would make sense since lasers and partciles seem to be the prefered gun of Varuun
If you like the Rev-8, Lasers and Heavy will level up if you shoot with the gun on top. Not like having a lot of good carry weapons, but at least another reason to level the skills.
I saw the mini-boss at 50 so my level target has been 50. Makes sense BGS would put their target a little below that (to keep it a little more challenging).
@@kineer I would bet their recommendation is based off normal settings. If you go hardcore extreme with +75% bonus in settings, Shattered Space might eat your lunch at level 50. I guess we will see in a few days.
Level 117 and NG+10. Got modded shotgun from ‘Entangled’ with +30% dmg against aliens for the vortex horrors and Elegant pistol with ‘shattering’ which ignores armour for the harder human enemies. Also got a modded Negotiator for heavy work and a modded Last Priest painblade with 201 dmg for any melee. Plus have got the particle beam Vulture weapon which is 721 dmg for any sniping. Also married to Andreja and a believer. Think I will be fine.😃
Whatever happened to early access to Shattered Space? I thought that if we already had the premium and all that, we'd get early access. Or is that going to be tomorrow???
I don't have a save to reload because I deleted everything including saves to clear my xbox memory so if I get back into Starfield what are some suggestions to quickly level up for xbox players? I see tips on pc but they rely heavily on macros, auto clickers and other techniques you can't do on a standard xbox with a standard xbox controller without some kind of third-party controllers that have things similar to auto clickers and stuff. What can a factory official unmodified xbox and controller can quickly speed level in Starfield to get ready for the new content?
I don't use those techniques, but will suggest an Adaptive Frame farm as a first step. Sleep before crafting for +10% xp. When you get far enough up, need a point in Botany (I think) and you can survey all of Jemison and build an Amp farm. Not the most interesting way but if I was trying to ramp levels before Shattered Space from level 1, that's my vanilla path.
