Depends on the size of your boat haha I'm a river fisherman but the easy ones to catch are schooling on herring towards the dam im not familiar down there enough. Can catch a big one on a frog tho
i know this vid is older. Im new to SC moved from southwest OH end last summer. Im a kayak angler & looking for new places to fish/explore. I've been mostly fishing Clarks Hill, Russell & Savannah river. I have been to Murray 1 time so far but definitely wanna go back. have check some of these spots out
@@ryanschmidt8929 yeap I've been to Murray 4 times now on lower end by damn, mid lake & upper end more river section twice now. Murray is good place to go. I have caught some nice largemouth, I'm still learning that lake sense I haven't been but just 4 times
@@realcmj thanks. I'm going to try this spot tomorrow. I'm in town from FL. Looking for some bass action. I tried looking for spots at lake Murray but that lake is massive.
If you go under menu then map options and change the overlay to terrain it will show you where creeks are entering the lake in those coves....changing it to satellite will also give you a different perspective.

Great video. First time I've seen your channel. I went ahead and subscribed. I fished lake Murray for 30 years. The first 20 mostly the lower end near the dam the last 10 I lived on the lake in Prosperity way back at the end of a cove. Do to a divorce and family obligations I had to move to the Augusta area about 5 years ago and mostly fish Clarks Hill now. Seeing your video brought back so many memories because I fished that area of the lake practically every day because my jon boat was tied to the dock so all I had to do was walk down and get in it. Miss those burgers at Fat Man's to.lol. Sorry for the long comment. Looking forward to future videos.

At the end you'll see it there's walk ways thru the fence open to the public

Shallow depth but I meant deep like far away and of the creek spots
