We’ve had record breaking numbers this year, helps that we’re on the big networks and that 80% of these games are on networks that don’t even require cable. Hope we can see some more primetime games next season and just hype up these matchups even more

I know we should have more since we’re two time champs but it’s still a brand new league and we have to prove that we’re here long term considering all the defunct spring teams that Birmingham has had over the years. So in my book, anytime we hit 10K it’s a win but of course we want more. It’ll get better with time, the league just needs to do more in the offseason and make it known that these teams play each weekend through billboards, promotions, etc.

I was really hoping that would set the standard. but like you said i totally get why fans are hesitant to go. we were back to back champs only to find out the leagues were merging and we had to wait and find out who was in. I think it’s the same reason memphis has low attendance most of the time. They have been burned by spring leagues time and time again.

Bham and memphis have been burned more than SA. SA has had 3 spring teams but really the Brahmas to me is the only one that will last more than one year. They still hosted the spurs for like 10 years tho. Memphis had the Oilers for a season but has had 6 teams mostly all playing for one season dating back to 1974. Bham has had 9 dating back to 1974 with this current version of the stallions being the longest running team and most successful and it’s only been almost 3 full seasons. Give it time! These leagues and teams have to find success for fans to turn out.

The run play at the end with 10 seconds and a timeout is confusing. They were passing well should have done another 10-15 yarder and hit the timeout with 1-2 seconds left.

Louisville Stallions -makes sense , time to give other cities a chance at spring ball. Birmingham doesn’t care this team is one of the best in modern day spring football and only 7k bother to show up. 🤣 I feel bad for the fans who actually do care for the team down there they are passionate but for the league to be taken seriously , they need to be drawing 15k a game by now easily. Two: Birmingham is not a very wealthy city overall. It has a Lot of poor people. And most of the people that have money live in the suburbs. If they were to drop ticket prices and let lower income people into the stadium the crowds might be a different story. But idk if that would even help because... Three: Birmingham is in the state of Alabama. And in this state we are college football mad. Especially for the Univ. of Alabama Crimson Tide. So a Lot of people don't care about pro sports here traditionally. Especially since we don't have any top tier pro sports teams. All minor league teams really. So most people are just waiting for the fall college football season to get here. Some of them probably don't even know Birmingham has a pro football team. 😂

Football is a tough sell generally. You're asking someone to make a five or six hour commitment including commuting, parking, entering and exiting the stadium. People want to be entertained and 3 hours of subpar product just isn't worth it for most people. An NFL or D1 college football game is a happening. A UFL football game is just a football game.
This is a television league,what’s important are ratings.Networks are relying on sports programming to provide content in their desire to compete with streaming.I’m sure attendance provides better visuals but it isn’t the primary intent
