Stuff like this really just adds to the world building of MS. It's just so cool to have units placed in a certain order to give it more storytelling and lore, rather than just a shoot 'em up scenario
Was late cause the upload was at midnight on my timezone. Really love the interesting idea of arriving as an assault is happening. Gameplay-wise is fun, lore-wise is disconnected because the next scene is them protecting a kind-of broken down lab, which doesn't make sense if the security just arrived outside the city when there is already an established defense force in the tunnel. Maybe makes a bit more sense for them to be aided, but that requires a bit of brainstorming from just looking at the scene, but eh, whoever cares for lore when playing metal slug. The assault was high-adrenaline, sure is interesting to see those enemies just breeze through you. The soldier hiding behind the truck that requires melee is clever and intriguing, showcasing that they're actual soldiers trying to survive. There were two variants of the assault, and i would say it could be better. For instance, placing the rifle soldier from the start like variant 1, and at the end throw the copter like variant 2, into one variant that is.

The afternoon effect + that stampede makes it look like a different game, i love it. I hope you do more of this.
Rebel vehicles ram > Subway section
Tbh I think that part will be insane for any MS player xd

Cool Work. Continue making it!
This is epic
WIP or only video on this? I really liked that convoy assault
It's WIP.
Planning to revamp the street and subway section only if I spare more time on this.
Long time no upload in this channel
Do you think you can revamp the first part of the final mission in metal slug 5?
If I feel like it, maybe.
What's with the screen filter?
That's the Kawaks's _Gamma Adjustment_ function that doing the job there.
Just wanted to give the stage more sunset atmosphere, you know.
@@soldierrebel6603 Ahh, that explains it. Btw, keep up the good work. You're doing SNK's job better than SNK themselves can.
@@soldierrebel6603 It's a really good idea but you need to tow it down quite a bit
@@soldierrebel6603 For a second I thought you were mimicking the magazine scan gameplay colors.
@@soldierrebel6603 It gives me a VHS vibe, nice!
