The "I don't like the racial thing" are you talking about how Em said black people saved him. If you are hes talking about Dre, Proof and how the black community didnt give a fuck about him being white when he was in the underground scene, he used it as a setup for the equality part.
When my son was 9 or 10 he wanted one of Eminem's first CDs. I listened to a couple songs and I could not keep up with the lyrics but heard all the curse words. I could tell Em was telling a story though and not just cursing to a beat. I did not want my son to just pick up on curse words like me. I told him to pick 3 songs on the CD and write at least a page report on each of them so I knew he was listening to Em's story and not just parroting the curse words. My son wanted the CD so he gave me his first report. He exceeded my expectations so much on the first report. I just bought the CD for him and gave him a pass on the other 2 reports. He is over 30 now and he still helps me hear the story just like you did here. I adore you two.
