My buddy had a 93 YZ 250 when I had my 90 CR 250. The YZ had a much smoother engine, the suspension was twice as good and it was much more refined overall. I preferred the grunt and handling of the CR but I was faster on his bike because of that suspension. Great video.
This was the year I fell in love with riding! I was on an 80 at the time, but seeing these bikes bring back many fond memories. Thanks for doing these videos, I love watching 👍
100% I had the 125 and actually got accused of cheating it was so much faster than everything else and I'm looking at it going nope I did absolutely nothing to this thing lol. They really were that good.
My second bike was a 93 yz 250 most of the opinions from the magazines are spot on. It was a very forgiving bike but highly maintenance intensive, I went through top ends frequently but of course it was a 8 year old machine by then…still kept up with the new bike of the time
PA here. Brother in law had an 89 KX that we rode the wheels off . It had been set up to ride tight trails here. It was a blast. This was in 1998. 250's are a blast. Love the time capsule vids you put out
That 1993 KTM 250 was so so so so good. People were all about the hype of the 1992 thru 1996 Honda CR250's but give me that 1993 KTM250 all over again. They messed it up in 1994 and 1995 (the 1992 with the old body style was also good). That 1993 KTM250 had so much bottom end and it pulled up until the upper midrange and that is exactly where I ride in the powerband. Gosh I have an absolutely perfect 1992 Suzuki RM250 that is done up to look like a 1990 Suzuki RM250 and with my 1992 Suzuki RM250 being in absolutely perfect condition and you could lick it and not get a germ, I would trade it for an only "GOOD" condition 1993 KTM 250 in a heart beat.
Ktm's where unfairly judged by the u.s. magazines when it came to mx tests. Influenced greatly by advertisements in the magazine. Or in Ktm's case lack of. They couldn't get around the mx track and suddenly couldn't brake and felt odd. But offroad tests where the complete opposite. Its funny now looking back at the totally obvious bias they had. On certain models and brands.
I have a 1994 yz250 as my first bike. I come from quads. And it's amazing power is forgiving but not lacking. Suspensions great and turns amazing. Only thing I've found due to me being a lighter rider (130lbs) the front end tends to float at high speed
93’ the year I moved up to ProAM A class & changed Machines went with Yamaha for 93 94 & 95 Yamaha had the best contingency plan for privateers Cash & YZ Bucks.
On January 14, I order from your store a hoodie, Order number: 5d9a0f40e9923d12 According to the tracking history went into production on January 16, promised date for delivery was between Jan 24 and Jan 27, we are at February 15 and I had NOT received anything. Is this a scam?
Please lay down a track of the ambient studio sound behind the rest of the audio track. It will smooth out the sharp sound transition when you come in and out with your voice over.

Great summery video Tony! Can you please do a shootout video of the 1995 250cc motocross bikes as well please? Thanks!
love the fluorescent colors from the 90’s
Great timing!
Picked up a 93 rm250 yesterday to go with my 90 and 91.

I personally owned a 1993 Honda CR250 with all pro circuit aftermarket parts and I'll tell you what it was a freaking rocket !

Suggestion for a video Talk about the contingency plans some manufactures Put out in the 90s
Sweet keep up the 90s gold

The 1993 RM motor reminds me of the 87 H motor. The 87 motor characteristics reminds me of the 2002 though the 02 actually has top end.
Awesome video thanks and please keep doing them
Thanks, will do!
Thanks love your videos have you done the history of the banshee? I looked but couldn’t find it

AXO gear ❤
Hey Tony can you do a review video on the 98 KX250 from what I understand that had one of the strongest motors
I will be in the future. It was a great bike
That Yamaha is actually beautiful 😎😎
Just when I thought I watched every one of your videos, I get a new upload!!!!!!
Yeeeeeeeeeessss!!!!
Thank you!
Glad you like them!
Back in the day, Yamaha was 'the enemy' but I'd pick that 93 YZ over the rest (and they are all pretty good). It looks absolutely top notch today. 👌
Have you done the SUZUKI LT 250 AND 500 230 QUAD.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Roger still involved with suzuki in 93?? Lol
The 93 yz250 is hands down the best looking bike
Did you rearrange the Vault?
Not that I am aware of unless TH-cam did something
I think it’s just the perspective of the video, looks a little different is all! Great job anyways on the video, I had a ‘93 KX and loved it!
Its simple. If a manufacturer had Roger Dee, they produce a winner, but other manufacturers were close anyways.😏
4:58 "epically violent" LMFAO🤣
Why hasn't he done vid on "The history of the yz125 19??-2023 the most popular 2 stroke ever
Just a matter of time. I plan on it in the future but I have 2 kids and a 70 hour a week full time job so it takes me a while.
@@TheMotocrossVault dahm man i guess thats what it takes to make videos of this quility ill stay tuned until then
@TheMotocrossVault thanks you for the videos....I think I watched every one of your videos
