The new wheels look amazing! Id say the Scania looks better in its stock white colour.
Use that Autoglym Interior cleaner on the steering wheel, it’s perfect for cleaning steering wheels. Spray the steering wheel generously and use a soft nail brush to agitate the dirt. Then gently wipe around it with a damp clean microfibre cloth… once it’s dry it will feel and look like new 👌
You’ll be shocked how much dirt will come off of it

Hi Tim. Wheels and tyres looking great 👍 Darren suggested doing the grille blue with white behind, that sounds amazing and would certainly pop. Also blue hubs would look insane. After all blue is your colour Tim. Le thim run with it, adds to the excitement 😃👌

You should buy black leather mat on the floor. It would look so good on that truck.
Don’t forget to re torque the wheel nuts Tim especially the back ones
Truck would be great in black with chrome accents and maybe like blue pin striping not too flashy but professional to contrast the 4 series
What a 100 percent pratt, now I know why I retired at 50 with people like him in the industry
Thankfully, a lot of us just get on with the job and have done for a long time, he's got lots to learn as we can see.
For the truck paint I would say the top part remains white while the bottom part will be red and add blue lights at the bottom to match your blue lights at the front
The work horse is looking awesome! I do think the blue and white is the way to go Tim! Then get blue led lights on your light light bars, you can even get blue under glow like the silver griffins red underglow!

Wee tip Tim if youre worried about the mid lift rubbing through the wheel cover, stick a thin metal plate on the underside of the cover so when the wheels raised if it catches anything and spins it won't rub through, when I was on timber the boys in tags would do that as it was more of a problem for them with the tags clearance when raised

Good on you, mate! Loving the new wheels & rubbers. I wonder if the Anti-Splash thing really works though. As soon as you get a chance, ceramic coat the wheels. On the insides as well, that'll help keep them shiny for a good while even in the winter.

Just look after it all ,and it will all reward you in the long run . Keep away from the kerbs and get to know all your trucks like the back of your hand . What a journey you are starting . If you're gonna have a fleet with all the same colour scheme, you should have a CAD rendering of the colours before you finally decide.

Hey Tim, Loving the content in this episode and it was awsome see that V8 in action well sort of...till you get a trailer and do your first drop and that am sure will be an epic episode to see I can't wait. The choice of colours are perfect for this V8 scania.....but since your doing white and blue...what about pearlescent white and blue to give it that hint of blue within the white? Either way am sure you will pull it off 👋 (REALLY NEED A TANG EMOJI 😂)

Hi Tim your tractor unit looks awesome with the new drura brights and the new Michelin tyres and with side skirts it's going to look real gem . I think painting it wet white gloss with wet gloss black trim on the front a big set of new high end lights and put a wet black bull bars . But it's your baby so do what you want it will look stunning when finished. Inside speck it everything scania v8 with huge sounds inside and big horns for tones goodluck Tim and just really happy for you as you are a sound guy

I’ve just recently come across your channel Tim. I’ve been there done it with the trucks. All the bullshit but do appreciate when I do See a nice truck still as I know how much hard work it is to keep on looking good. but I’m so pleased that you have decided to go white with a little blue, but it would be nice If you done the chassis as well. I know it will be covered but nonetheless it would be done and then just build on things as you go along keep up the good work. 👍
I would've put anti seize on those new nuts and the wheel hub,
since they are Aloy on steel and when they start bonding, they stay on the hub even without the nuts.
BTW. colours: the side skirts, fender and wheel liner in the front, the window trimm and grill Black gloss
all the Chrome Blue and a Simple wave on the cab in blue and trim lines in the grill and skirt and fenders.
Also white lightend Scania bagde and embleme.
I really do rate the white and black with the wheels , I think blue would look tacky but look forward to seeing it finished 👌🏼👌🏼
That Horn rocker switch on the dash used to work up and down to do either tone on the Horn's under the cab, probably only want's a new solenoid valve on it to get it working again, she look's loads better with a set of super singles back on the midlift again now as well
R series is looking splendid Tim nice to see you give her a good run out, sounds pretty decent with stock exhaust on but will sound epic with the straight pipes will sound awesome.

As a windscreen technician my advice would be go steady with the door glasses mate, we fitted one last week at £1450+VAT.
Seems like a very rare option to have but they're laminated so I'd be careful timmy lad
I can't fault your enthusiasm, truck looks great, I'm constantly thinking of cost it must be eye watering, this Country is so different from America ,in England you are looked upon as a villain if you run any type of vehicle, they rip you off with fuel prices, insurance and road fund tax and in your situation you have to make a profit, I hope you get some really good contracts. Great video all the very best to you, good luck because I think you'll need it.

if your gonna have a withe and blue grill you shouldnt do black on the side of the cab
you could do blue pin striping on the side of the cab that follows the black bits (grill and around the widows)
I have to agree about Michelin tires I drive in Canada and I love how Michelin x1 steer tires feel as you run down the road
