  • There is so much talk about what Jesus did after He died, did He change some things, did He do away with some things? Come and listen to this profound message about what the Bible truly says.
I do not own the rights to any of these sermons, but Pastor Brooks has been such a blessing to me personally so I feel compelled to share these sermons so that someone else may be as blessed by his sermons as I have been.
    Enjoy and share!!!

Was a true man of God, anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit.
He knew his Bible, how I love how he explained and showed from God words that if we truly love Him we will keep His Commandments.🙏🏼🙏🏼

This sermon was laid out perfectly!! I Love the way he starts with the two verses that people try to twist, and then completely destroys any attacks on the beautiful ten commandment law . He leaves no room for for those that try to scoff at Sabbath keeping Christians. If only my husband would watch this.

    1. Search me, O God!
Psalm 139:23 - Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!
“Father, I desire to be the best in what I do today. So I ask You to investigate my life and examine my deepest motives. Cross-examine my thoughts and give me a clearer picture of myself according to Your truth. May Your glory be revealed in me and shine through me this day. Amen”
    2. Teach me Your way, O LORD!
Psalm 86:11 - Teach me your way, O LORD, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.
“Teach me Your ways, O LORD. Train me to walk on Your path of truth, so that my heart will be united with Your heart. I worship You in awe and wonder.”
    3. O God, fulfill Your purposes in me! Psalm 57:2 - I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.
“O God of greatness and goodness, grant me the courage to see everything in my life as a means of fulfilling Your purposes-and not simply my desires.”
    4. Examine me, O LORD!
Psalm 26:2 - Prove me, O LORD, and try me; test my heart and my mind.
“O God, let my motives pass your smell test. Examine my life from head to toe and test the purity of my life through Your fire. Amen.”
    5. Teach me to do Your will, O God! Psalm 143:10 - Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!
“God of all goodness, teach me how to walk in obedience with Your Word and how to be led by Your Spirit so I may find the clear and level path of pleasing You.”
    6. Yes, LORD, I am available and ready to listen! Exodus 3:4 - When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”
“Father, I am here today, experiencing the wonder of Your presence. I am listening to Your voice and doubting my abilities, but ready to be used for Your glory and the advancement of Your mission.”
    7. Restore my joy and grant me a willing spirit, O LORD!
Psalm 51:12 - Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.
“Father in Heaven, overwhelm my soul with the wonder of Your great salvation. Keep my spirit soft, tender, and willing to do Your will this day. Amen!”
    8. Search my heart for that which offends You, O God!
Psalm 139:24 - And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!
“Show me, O LORD, my blind spots! Reveal to me, O God, any unknown areas of my life that make me vulnerable. Lead my life on Your right path, Your path of eternal life and infinite blessing.”
    9. O LORD, save me from whining! Psalm 55:2 - Attend to me, and answer me; I am restless in my complaint and I moan.
“O God, come quickly. Save me from embarrassing myself. Bring peace to my restlessness and perspective to my pain. Break me of a whiny spirit! Teach me to trust You- and not my circumstances.”
    10. O my God, may my work leave a lasting legacy.
Nehemiah 13:14 - Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and do not wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God and for his service.
“Father in Heaven, be intimately aware of my motives for serving You so that You will not wipe out my efforts or let others harm the work done in Your name. Father, may You judge my motives and bless the work of my hands for Your honor and glory. Amen.”
    11. Let Your light of truth shine deep within my heart, O LORD! Psalm 43:3 - Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!
“O LORD, light up my life with Your truth! Shine Your light into the dark places of my soul. Overwhelm me by the warmth of Your loving kindness and draw me into Your holy presence, for You are my joy. Amen.”
    12. Teach me to number my days, O LORD. Psalms 39:4-5 - O LORD, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am! Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath! Selah.
“O LORD, You are my hope! Save me from trusting in my health and my wealth. Keep me centered on You moment- by-moment and day-by-day, for Your glory and the advancement of Your mission. Amen.”
    13. Here I am. Send me, O LORD!
Isaiah 6:8 - And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
“Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD God Almighty! Show me the hidden needs of my heart and the brokenness of Your people. Cleanse me, renew me, and strengthen me with the power of Your presence, for I am ready and willing to be used by You for Your great purposes! Amen.”
    14. Make Your face shine upon me, O LORD!
Psalm 119:135 - Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your statutes.
“Father in Heaven, I live for an audience of one and that is You! Father, I want Your face to shine on my life. May my life be so aligned with Your Word that I will experience Your smiling approval and hear these words from Your heart, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’”
    15. Have mercy on me, O God!
Psalm 51:1 - Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
“O LORD, You know the depth of my guilt! Have mercy on me! Out of Your loving kindness and abundance of mercy, remove from me the stain of my sin, through the precious blood of Jesus my Savior.”
    16. Father, shape me and mold me. Isaiah 64:8 - But now, O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.
Take my life, shape it, mold it and conform it. I yield my life to Your Potter’s Hands. Take my life, use me, lead me and guide me. I submit my life into Your hands Loving Father.”
    17. Help me finish well, O LORD!
Psalm 71:9 - Do not cast me off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength is spent.
“Father, as I grow older, may my devotion grow stronger. As my body grows weaker, may Your Spirit strengthen my inner being. Father, grant me the grace to finish well and to continue to be useful in Your service. Amen”
    18. O LORD, teach me how to treat those who oppose me.
Psalm 27:11 - Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.
“O LORD, show me the courageous path to the high road in my difficult relationships! Grant me the strength not to react by taking matters in my own hands, but to courageously wait on You to show me the level path.”
    19. O LORD, grant me truthful lips and a contented heart.
Proverbs 30:7-9 - “Two things I ask of you; deny them not to me before I die: Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full and deny you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ or lest I be poor and steal and profane the name of my God.”
“O God, I beg two favors from you; let me have them before I die. First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’ And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s holy name” (Proverbs 30:7-9, NLT)
    20. Yes, Lord, I am listening!
Acts 9:10 - Now there was a disciple at Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” And he said, “Here I am, Lord.”
“Here I am, Lord. I am open, ready, and willing to do what You ask of me. Grant me the courage and conviction to see beyond the obstacles, to rest in Your promises, and to see Your mission fulfilled through me. Amen.”
    21. Lord, increase my faith!
Luke 17:5 - The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
“Father, I’m at my wits’ end! I can’t do what You are asking in my own strength! I need You. I need Your strength
and I need You to increase my faith to see You work supernaturally in my life and ministry. Father, I believe, but help me overcome my unbelief. Amen.” Comment 🙌🏼, if you received these prayers. 😇❤️💫

Belinda … thanks for stopping by and watching and yes he is a great teacher, glad you enjoyed that part.
As far as the images go, you must remember he was preaching in the 1990’s and early 2000’s and at that time (sad to say) there were NOT many images of people of color available. That’s a new phenomenon … but please don’t let the images detract from the message of truth … for nobody knows what Jesus really looked like, but getting the message is crucial … please don’t be offended by the images, they are for illustration purposes only. God bless and hope that helps explain and ease your mind.

I have been following the former Seven Adventist pastors talking about what followers of Helen G white believe. That she was a prophetess and they do not believe in the Writings of Apostle Paul because their prophets message surpasses Paul's teachings. Your video message is very clear and informative and I hope some of those Adventists will hear it and question themselves whether or not their belief and faith are in the right path to salvation.

The argument is not whether God's law is valid, or whether it is the standard of judgment, but that it is impotent against the believer covered by grace and the righteousness of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5: 17-19 NIV explains: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. Hallelujah
Also, the Scapegoat was Christ who bore our iniquity, for all our sins were laid on Him Isa 53. The two UNBLEMISHED goats of the atonement, like the two-pigeon offering, carried out the dual work of Christ; first to die innocently to pay the price of sin, then ever to live to make intercession for those who come to God through Him. Heb. 7:25 New Living Translation explains: Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.
    Blessings

Agreed that we are saved by Chris's death ... but does that mean we do NOT have to keep His laws? Every kingdom has laws by which they are run, why would God's kingdom be without laws? If i get a speeding ticket and go to court and the judge pardons me ... does that mean I am free to get back on the highway and speed? God forbid ... pardon makes me more responsible NOT to break the law!!! Thanks GOD for grace ... but grace is pardon for sin ... which is breaking the law!!! So the law is necessary or I would NOT know what sin is.

The ordinances, rituals, feast days, new moons, weekly sabbath, monthly sabbath, and yearly sabbath rituals are all nailed to the cross.
A new law written on fleshy tables are the heart, not tables of stone. The new law is to live for Christ and die to self. Paul outlined it best in Romans 7.
Do some research on contracts and how they were nullified (the death if the testator).

    • @pastor_robgee
      @pastor_robgee  ปีที่แล้ว

It is very obvious that you did NOT watch the entire video ... because you would know that he actually shows from the Bible ONLY, ... that what you posted is ONLY half true. And a half truth is a whole lie!
There Bible NEVER mentions a NEW LAW ... a NEW COVENANT ... but NO NEW LAW ... also re-read your text reference in Romans 7:10 ... why would God change something that is HOLY and GOOD and JUST??? And if He did change it ... that would mean GOD changes ... and if HE changes ... why would JESUS have to die???
He could just change what sin is and there would be NO need for Jesus to die ... since HE died to save us from our sins .... by the way for a BIBLICAL definition of sin ... (see 1 John 3:4.)
The weekly Sabbath .. and the monthly/yearly sabbaths (with an S) are NOT the same ... if you do away with the weekly Sabbath which is part of the TEN COMMANDMENTS ... (and given to Adam and Eve at Creation (see Gen. 2: 1-3)) then you MUST do away with the entire TEN COMMANDMENTS ... which would be contrary to what God says in James 2: 10 ... so are you saying that it is ok to lie ... steal ... commit adultery ... and kill in God's eyes???
I find it interesting that we like to TRY to do away with the ONE commandment that GOD specifically says to REMEMBER ... I often wonder who would want mankind to forget ... what GOD said to REMEMBER??? There is only one person who I can think of that would want us to go against what God said ... can you guess who that is???
You are right we should do research ... ALL of us ... God bless and thanks for watching!

      Hebrew 10:1
The law of Moses made nothing perfect.
      Hebrew 7:12
The law did change, it is spiritually discerned
I will not get baited into arguing about the Sabbath day. Kataupasis means rest. Under the new covenant, the Christian is supposed to rest and not murmur at all the things God had ordained in their life, even the fiery trials.
Read Hebrews chapter 3 and Hebrews Chapter 4.
Lastly, stop conflating the two issues, the ordinances, rites, and rituals are clearly done away with. Otherwise we'd still be slaughtering animals all day. You will attempt to argue that the Sabbath Day is moral, but I would retort again, read Hebrews 3 and Hebrews 4. Feast days, new moons, Passover, and etc were rituals.
      Sabbath means rest.
He that has an ear let him hear.
Lastly, use a Greek intelinear textus receptus to define root words in a strongs concordance. Grammer matters.
      I ran to the store.
      I ran the store.
If Colossians 2:14 - 16 says what it says, believe it. Don't throw your reasoning and opinions at it.

    • @pastor_robgee
      @pastor_robgee  ปีที่แล้ว

Again ... I will say .. it is obvious ... that you did NOT watch the video ... and then you say ... that you will NOT argue about the Sabbath ... and then proceed to argue about it ... that is hilarious ... lol
      But ... I digress ...
This is what the text you so ably gave half of (again I might add) actually says:
Hebrews 10:1 - For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (It was the sacrifices that could NEVER make someone perfect ... and I am NOT saying that keeping the LAW makes one perfect ... ONLY Jesus can do that ... but ONCE I am HOLY ... I will obey God's Law ... all of them NOT 9 out of 10.
By the way ... where in the TEN COMMANDMENTS are sacrifices even mentioned (based on your text not mine) ... NOWHERE ... so this LAW that is being talked about here has to be another law ... which was a shadow of good things to come. Those ordinances / sacrifices pointed to the GREAT sacrifice of JESUS who would come in the future and do away with the sacrifices ... but OBEDIENCE ... why would GOD do away with us NEEDING to OBEY him?
Hebrews 7:12 - For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. The context of Hebrews 7 is NOT the Sabbath or the LAW ... it is the LAW of the Priesthood which said that only a certain lineage/family line could be priests ... but since Jesus did away with that ... then that law of that should also be changed. (Read verse 11 for context of verse 12).
Also I do believe EXACTLY what Colossians 2:14 -16 ... word for word ... that's why you should watch the video ... because he explains those verses like NOBODY else I know. Again I ask ... where in the TEN COMMANDMENTS do you read about drink and meat and new moons??? Again ... NOWHERE ... so HE must be talking about something else ... NOT the 10 Commandments.
And notice that Colossians 2 says sabbath dayS (plural) ... and when you go to Leviticus 23 ... Jesus clearly distinguishes between ... the WEEKLY SABBATH .. that falls on the same day every week (verses 1-3)... and compares them to sabbaths (plural) ... the first being the 14th day of the first month (verse 5) and then in verse 24 He says on the first day of the 7th month .... and then in verse 25 He says ... on the 10th day of the seventh month ... and then in verse 39 God says again ... on the 15th day of the seventh month ... you shall make a feast for 7 days and the frist day shall be a sabbath to you ... if you are honest ... sometimes the 14th of the month can be on a Mon, next year it can be on a Tue , next year a Wed ... NEVER the same day each week like the weekly Sabbath ... so it is obvious ... that GOD is talking about TWO different sabbaths! Those sabbaths (plural) were feats of the Lord which were given ONLY to the Jews for "their generations" ... but the seventh-day Sabbath was given at CREATION ... and there was NOT a JEW around ... just Adam and Eve in a perfect environment ... NO SIN ... NO JEW ... and GOD gave them and BLESSED the weekly Sabbath.
Again I will STRESS ,,, that we are NOT saved by Sabbath Keeping ... we are SAVED by JESUS DEATH and RESURRECTION ... but ONCE I am SAVED ... I will love and show appreciation for HIS sacrifice on my behalf ... by LOVING HIM enough to OBEY ... NOT the other way around!
Interesting that you also bring up Hebrews 4 ... but I doubt you have ever read that either ... because here is what it actually says:
      Veres 4 thru 11
4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
      Notice...
v4 - GOD did speak in a certain place about the SEVENTH-DAY when GOD did REST ... (SEE Genesis 2: 1-3)
v5 - And in this place/time ... I wish they would enter into MY rest (which HE sat up at CREATION when HE rested!
v6 - Since there REMAINS to this day that we should enter into HIS REST ... but some who first hear it ... do NOT enter because of UNBELIEF.
v7 - Again HE is limiting them to a certain day ... and like HE said when David was here ... today even after so long a time ... do NOT harden your heart if you hear HIS voice!!!
v8 - And if JESUS had changed it ... wouldn't JESUS had spoke of another day???
v9 - There REMAINS a REST ... but ONLY for the people of GOD!!!
v10 - So those who enter into GOD'S REST ... they will REST from their work ... like JESUS did at CREATION. (Gen. 2: 1-3)
v11 - Therefore let us strive to enter into that rest ... unless we fall after the same example of those who did because of UNBELIEF!!!
(Notice the use of word ... there REMAINS several times in the TEXT you brought up. Similar to the word REMEMBER ... in the actual TEN COMMANDMENTS ... interestingly!!!)
That's a great TEXT ... thanks for sharing!!!
      God bless your study!!!

Thanks for watching ... taken in it's full honest context Deuteronomy 28 is a powerful Scripture. And so are Ecclesiastes 3:14 - I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him. and Deuteronomy 4:2 - You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. and Revelation 22: 18,19 - For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Let the WORD speak for itself!

In the new covenant are there only 10 laws that was written on the heart? Did Jesus give commandments other than the 10 and what are they? If Jesus did ..are they of lesser importance than the 10 ?
If you keep the 10 laws then you saved?
Is the sabbath a moral law?
      I try to understand..
So you keep the law to be saved ..if I break only the 10 I must confess it to be saved and what if I forgot that I broke it and not confess it means he'll fire for me.
At what point am I as Christian justified then? Until I'm perfect in keeping the law?

You still have NOT answered my question which by the way is rather simple ... "how do you make up something that history says was here before you were"? That is like saying your children made you up ... how is that even logical? I do NOT have to read further books to know ... that you were here before your children (if you have any) regardless of what some author writes after the fact. Hope that help ... have a great day!
