- Elder CD Brooks was the first director/evangelist for the Breath Of Life Television Ministry. He preached at the fortieth-year anniversary celebration, which was celebrated at Oakwood University Church. Dr. Carlton Byrd is the present director/evangelist for B.O.L.

The reason why I always embrace these older sermons from these times is that they were always on point and free from today's compromisation. Today's sermons seem to try to fit in with the world rather than warn us about it.

I am always blessed when I listened pastor Brooks.
2016 is the year this servant of God slept in Jesus,his preaching though dead lives on, converts will be won thru his messages until probation closes. God help us who still live do our best to carry the banner forward.
God has laid His faithful servant to rest, but He graciously has left us his spirit of truth and his voice continues to guide us through these messages...thank you Jesus..
Just found out about this pastor yesterday May 20th 2022. I must say as a believer who knew of God but did not know him personally, this pastor speaks to my soul. In today's world we are hungry for the true word of God. May his beautiful soul rest in perfect peace! I will continue to listen!
Let's plan to meet him soon after getting to heaven. His messages kept me straight, in doctrine, for over 45 years.
I love this man I grew up with him every morning on breath of life and I'm now 42yrs old

Though he will be sadly missed, let us remember that God always has a man and will even raise up stones if the need arises...and Pastor Brooks would be the first to tell us so. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord....for they cease from their labours and their works do follow them." Rev. 14: 13.
We have lost a Watchman on the walls of Zion who sounded the clarion call of his Lord and Savior. He was not afraid to call sin by its name.

I love the old sermons as well. I can be a 20 year old and I would love the old sermons as well, in fact, I used to be a 20 year old now. I'm 54. My point is a long time ago I was Catholic but I was hungry for the truth since I was 8 years old and grandfather gave me that full truth when I read the Bible at 2728 years old. A lot of things I knew were wrong but didn't know or fully understand till I had the Bible. And then I matched up a church with that Bible. Unfortunately, some of the local churches now fall into a policy. But I still defend the truth of the church. The event is church is the closest to all truth. That God allows and this light which our pastor here is talking about is exactly what we need and that light is Christ.
Like another commenter said I love the old servants. Because they're straight to the point. They're strong and fiery, but with love. But hold the truth of what the Bible says. They're not wishy-washy and don't compromise truth. They don't destroy truth Amen.

I didn't know that Pastor CD Brooks and his wife passed away! I grew up hearing about Pastor Brooks never listened to his sermon until a few years ago. Great speaker and man of God. They will be greatly missed. R.I.P 🌹🌹💞💞

you make me so happy when you talk to everyone' and you give all of your heart about Jesus' I lose my whole family in two years time 2014---2015 ) I have one brother but his father is not my father' and he does not get along with me,, I am hurting all over my body I am trying to hold on' my neighbors, also are all against me' I was nice to them' in return they return good for evil, to this day they still hate me, I know that God spirit is inside of me, I only hope that my family make it to Heaven, I know you will go to Heaven; you teach so good and talk about Jesus, I only want for people to know God and Jesus, they are far from the truth, is like I can see right through them so fake, I get sad, but I see you talking and I start to get Happy all over again,
I have a question how do you spend your time' knowing everything on TV is all bad' I only see the news from time to time, or I see you talking about The good Lord ,, and some times I think about my family,
