I am right there with you when it comes to getting to camp. I love paddling, but there is always something in the back of my mind that pushes me to get to camp as quickly as possible.
That crunch wrap looked 👌 thats fine dining in the bush. Tilly is such a well behaved dog, my dog would probably be trying to snatch my food up if I looked away. Nice trout btw, looking forward to part 2
Tilly is well behaved for the most part...lol. I need a gopro for the boat to capture the fishing better, but yea, that was a decent brookie. Thanks for watching👍
Another great video...How do you not have a million subscribers yet? I enjoy your candor, and look forward to the next installment. About getting the lonely feels, and missing home life....ever do any meditation at camp? I find it connects me to nature more quickly and profoundly. Keep up the great content!
Thank you so much! I haven't done meditation other than the moments I spend taking in the sights with my coffee or bourbon after all the chores are done... I think it was more noticeable this trip because I thought for sure we were cutting the trip short. I will have to give it a try next time! Thanks again for watching, conclusion to this one is coming May 20th 👍
Planning a trip into Salmon River Long Lake this Summer. Have heard conflicting things about access via River Drive, both in terms of condition and trespass signs. Have you ever had any issues?
Ive not had an issue. There is a trailhead at the end of the road, so even though it is private I dont believe that it is enforceable. That being said, I always try to be the most courteous person ever to the few locals you drive past and super respectful to the area. My buddy and I drove there in a honda civic once if that helps. Can be a slow go at times, but not a long road really.
Hello Luc, I recently ordered a jug of it from Amazon, and we are in Nova Scotia. It’s a different brand than Kris’s, but we hope it will be effective.
I had a subscriber send me some that he got in the US. It is the Sawyer brand that is available everywhere down there. Hopefully the Amazon stuff works well too. So far so good, but no real test yet as the ticks hadnt started in full force.
Another great vid. Enjoyed and looking forward to part 2!
Thank you and thanks for watching👍

Absolutely... and on the 3 day trips, Day 2 is for exploring usually :)
I always look forward to camp life, to me it is the best part of camping.
@@matthewcollins6466 Me too.. I've passed on a couple of fishing excursions just to sit at camp and drink coffee.
Nice vid Kris, looked like a very relaxing trip. Appreciated the new tunes as well
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it👍

Got a chuckle out of 'Flipper Lake'... Dave, Rhonda - you gotta be proud!
I still don't know the name of that lake lol
This is a possible route for me this summer. Love your vids. I use them as trip planners
It is a great area for me as it is so close to home, yet is very wild. Glad you get some use out of them!

@@thecoffeefuelledwoodsman that's really helpful, thanks! Hope you have some good trips planned!
Are you able to buy permethrin in Canada? If so, where can we find it?

Just checked and it was On Guard brand, 3.78 litres for $40
