Very crisp video Kris. Enjoyed the vid and we always feel bad for the non-native Canadians that dont get to experience the Fall season... hope you get to bring your two creatures on your next woods adventure! You can tell Specka is loving just hanging with you two and being in the woods.
Glad I stumbled upon your channel! Great to see some quality local videos. Regarding your coffee percolator, it appears to be similar to mine. The clear plastic top has a lip that goes into an indentation on the lid. (You probably know that already)
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! This perco is probably identical to yours.. I probably edited out the part where I showed the glass knob had broken off and the threaded portion fell out of the lid shortly after. It was strange because we hadn't dropped it or anything, so I bet there was already a crack and the heat caused it to break without us knowing. Johnny broke his first one so he'll just order another (but I've told him to try to find a plastic one this time!). Thanks for watching!
Hey neighbour. Not often the TH-cam algorithm shows me something of local interest. Maybe it was the fact that you are a coffee lover and are in Nova Scotia. I noticed the Ingramport road sign in the opening. I grew up playing in the Mersey Bowater woods. What part of the province are you in?
@@MarkYoungBushcraft hey Mark, that was actually South Lake in the video. Its adjacent to Big St. Margarets Bay lake (not far from Bowater area). Great lake for paddling actually and we did 16km on day 2 just paddling around the shore line. TH-cam will show me Northern Scavenger, but not much else!
Enjoy the video everyone, if you have any questions about the gear or in general, let me know in the comments! 👍
Hard to beat a couple of great fall days to get out and enjoy the outdoors here in NS! Awesome!!
Thank you! I'm hoping the weather continues like this for at least a few more weeks! Thanks for watching
Beautiful scenery and exploring! Thank you for sharing your adventures! 💕
Thank you, very glad you enjoyed the first episode
Happy belated birthday. Friend + Beer = great time. Thanks for the video.
Thank you very much! It was spectacular weather too👍👍👍
Looks like a beautiful trip, wish I was there!
Hopefully we can all get out around Halloween like a few years ago?!
Well done. Glad you enjoy good bourbon!!
Both of those were very nice ones too! Thanks for watching

I'm hoping to bring my dogs for the next one... I guarantee Specka won't be as relaxed with young Sprout running around causing mischief all the time!
Enjoyed the video dude, as always! Just what I needed this evening…wish I was there though. Our old site looked pretty much untouched
I think it was used once since us! Great sheltered spot in the colder weather 😊
Such a fun video!
Thanks for watching it :)
Awesome trip! Hopefully the weather cooperates and we can get out.
Yes indeed! I'm hoping it will be a bit cooler for our trip so I can were my cozy clothes throughout the day 👍

@@thecoffeefuelledwoodsman gotcha! Don’t make em like they used to.

Curious about the lake(s)you were on. I’m from Pei but often bring a canoe to HRM to explore on weekends.
This one was South Lake. There are a bunch of lakes in the area that are reasonable to get to that I've still not managed to go to yet.
@@thecoffeefuelledwoodsman Is road access decent? (I drive a rav4) and is there signage for the camp sites?
@@shannontrailpeak the road is slow in a few places, but my tuscon can handle it. The sites are listed somewhere I think with CKNS.
@@shannontrailpeak no signage however
800 most likely means the head of the axe weighs 800 grams
Thank you! That would make sense. I couldn't find out much on the internet other than it may be a German brand.
