Quadcopter 101 how many drones u have cus I'm looking for a cheap camera drone with the Gimbal and altitude hold and a very far distance range and I was wondering if you could sell me one of yours for very cheap because I do not have a lot of money but I would love a drone pls
I also should have gone into a little more details on the camera. Comes with Firefly 2K or 4K HD camera. It has gyro stabilization, although I didn't not turn it on. It sure did. As soon as I started the motors, it lifted on its own. It's a tough quad as it took no damage minus the props and the gimbal coming off . I might have to do upgrades on it. I like the quad but it needs improvement.
Wow, again this is the first I've heard of this problem. But if it took off, it was getting throttle input somehow. All I can think of is that the controller sticks (particularly the throttle) may be out of calibration. Usually there's a calibration technique for the sticks. I've been searching for the calibration steps for the UPair, but have not yet been able to find them.
And I'm not kidding that this thing is almost ready to fly out of the box. Just need to install the props, and charge the batteries. Here's an unboxing (in Italian) showing such. Hang onto the box, it could be a good/cheap travel carrying case for this out in the field. th-cam.com/video/rqDiYFH9ylA/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the reply. my up air arrived today. yeah !! Everything seems to be working great. Didn't put the props on yet have to balance them, but ran through the routine familiarizing myself with it. Charged the battery that came with it and watched how the lights and all worked. Tried to charge my damaged one, did it outside as the sides of the case were a little puffy but not much and saw 2 green lights so when came back to check lights were out and i figgied good, it must have charged. It worked fine in the quad copter but instead of 4 lights being on, only the one on the left turned on, and there was no power to run the aircraft. Will just have to scrap it no way to repair it and don't even want to try. Amazing screen and FPV as you mentioned in your video. The best i have seen yet. Have another spare battery coming also hope it arrives in better shape. Look forward to more of your great, interesting, and informative videos. Thanks again Ken
I have DJI P3 and the design is almost identical, even down to the startup and shutdown procedure. The excellent software on DJI will make it the better choice.
To everyone: it may look like a phantom and may use the same props but there's one really really big difference. The price. For a drone at 379$ it's the best you can get.
Quadcopter 101. Really enjoy your work that you do. I've been watching since December 2015. Started with a Syma X-5C. Decided to go for this Upair One for the upgrade to the addiction. Got it for $300 with a %10 app download coupon and think I'll be happy with my purchase. Thanks for the review. I'm in Colorado and hope I can be patient waiting for this guy.
This review is one of the best I've seen! I think you have a KEEPER here and the quad is real impressive with lots of features. I can see that this one will give DJI some competition once the word gets out. The OSD onscreen is real nice for FPV flying and you definitely got me interested in this one! I was wondering if it could be modified using cloverleaf antennas? Thanks for the review. :)
There are many different versions out of this drone. I have the latest version (v4). The v1,v2,v3 has a apm board 8bit. The v4 have a PX4 board 32bit and really really works like a charme .
What an awesome time for quadcopter innovation! These Chinese companies investing all this R&D in quadcopters, this is just so awesome. How about SIM card LTE signaling, then the range could be infinite for as long as there would be data, are there some cheap quadcopters that use an LTE/HSPA+ SIM card slot?
Wow that's a lot. The cheapest smartphone is $15 out of China, and I don't think the PCB needs to be too heavy to put in a drone, so I actually expect they'd make HSPA+ and LTE drones for cheap by now.. So for as long as you'd go somewhere you have range of HSPA+ and LTE signal, then it would have an infinite range.. Another thing I'd like to see is automated battery switch. So you can take your drone to as far as it can reach within the battery range, but have an already charged battery there for it to automatically switch somehow, I don't know if using an arm on location or something that allows for automated battery switching on the drone. That way perhaps a quad-copter drone could go tens of kilometers away and switch batteries automatically at drone battery switch stations that could be everywhere. And those could also recharge a bunch of drone batteries by solar power.
+ARMdevices.net it would actually be fairly easily to do both those things as long as quadcopter had very similar battery loading and unloading ! yes cellular connections would be great but people dont want to pay for a phone service just to fly something as a hobby, only ones i have seen are the more "industrial" quadcopters
Oh don't worry over here in Europe we can get second, third and fourth sim cards on our phone plans for free, or get a 10GB/month data sim card at 2 Euros per month, so getting extra data sim cards is not an issue.
FYI: I asked G10 Drone if they will be selling on Amazon.com. They are selling directly on Amazon and shipping from the manufacturer. The 2K is on sale for $299 and they added the spare battery for $79. Seems like whatever you ask, they add it to Amazon. The 4K is $359.
Enjoy your videos... I have a less expensive quad and love flying it... but I find myself always saying, "if it just had altitude hold I could film so much better". This may be the answer... Thanks for sharing all these reviews, you do a good job and sound like a really cool dude. Take care, Clay
You can't swap out the camera on the Phantom and the Phantom doesn't have its own FPV monitor. Also, you are not dependent on an APP that you must use on your own phone or tablet, lastly you are not bound by geofencing like the Phantom. So, other than color and some similarities in looks, the UPAir is not the Phantom.
Quadcopter 101,Great video, I ran in to the same issues with turning it on. The manual leaves out information about the FM button to.I receive my Upair One the other day. It does support 5.8gz FPV. you can use your goggles like fatshark or quantum with it.At first I found not get the fpv monitor to display on the monitor. there is a button on the bottom of the quad to switch channels. Also the box the Upair came in was damaged a little. Some damage to the box causing the gimbal to detached from the rubber mounts and unplugging the camera system. Also the shipment was inspected and the spare battery/propellers was removed. I think only two lipo battery can be shipped in the same box.Waiting on banggood to reply to message with replacement parts.
be very interesting to open that quad up and see inside. looks like its running on APM2.8. OR 2.6 ETC. AS ITS FLIGHT CONTROLLER. IF this is the case its much the same quad as the cheerson cx20. and all flight settings inc max speed and its Flight control options will be customisable.... ie you could change out ioc to circle. also then all the OSD information can be customised to your own choice and you can add in your name etc to the osd, just in case a few of you were flying. also the PID settings for altitude hold mode can be set better so it doesnt rise as you fly along, but im 100% sure its running APM.
When you have invested in OSD, 600 mw transmitter, a 7 inch monitor, a 2-axis gimbal + camera for the X380 you are above the price range of the DJI and this one beats the DJI in price which is hard to beat. Thanks again.
Real good buy, I agree! I've got a X380 and it has come down in price and it's range stock is also hard to beat. The problem with it is, you have to add the FPV equipment and gimbal. You end up spending a lot more with the add-ons than what this quad costs which has more features and is cheaper.
Depends on what you want to do. The X380 has a tremendous range in excess of 1 mile running FPV and stock transmitter over flat ground. You have to spend some money on a FPV transmitter, camera, mount, monitor or goggles and cloverleaf antennas to do that. You will not have OSD or a gimbal and the cost will exceed the price of the UPAir One loaded. I doubt that the UPAir One has the range of the X380. The X380 has a BIG PLUS since it accepts modifications and it's a good reliable flyer that has proven itself.
I've read some older reviews and they are only a month old. Some of the fellas might have gotten several with problems. Range was part of the problems on FPV which is serious if you are flying FPV. The quad is probably using a low powered transmitter and then the receiver is using dipole antennas instead of the cloverleaf antennas which is a handicap for FPV range and quad video dropout when direction changes. I would say the the X380 has more range and can take modifications which is a plus if I was worried about range I would go with the X380 even though modifying it to match the UPAir would cost more.
Are you kidding me? I just bought the H501s, and now I see your review of this one for about the same money, with camera and gimbal, huge FPV screen... and now I want one. My Hubsan doesn't record, so it might be going back for a refund, and now I know what I will replace it with. Great review, thanks.
I like the terminology you came up with: "FPV explorer": This class of drones could be very helpful with for example finding lost people in situations when manned aircraft aren't available. Too bad this kind of application is getting, or is already, banned by law in many countries...
You may have better recommendation. I would like to be able to send drone to a gps cord such as real home. And also would be nice if video included data like heading altitude etc. I am doin simple home surveys to see if there is line of sight to wireless towers.
In altitude hold mode if the speed increases and the pressure drops it should think the altitude increased and therefore it should descend. Probably they included some algorithm to compensate this and that is why it goes up. Or for whatever other reason. :)
I ordered the 4k version from G10. On that one the gimbal didn't work so that was returned. Then ordered he 2k version fulfilled by Amazon. That one arrived yesterday. Charged the batteries and then tried that one out. The gimbal worked perfectly! But the motors didn't. They were either all the way on or I would have to bring the throttle all the way down to stop them there was nothing in between. :( The 2k goes back tomorrow and no more UpAir for me!!!!
ok in mine it does it only when I turn on the motors and immediately it is removed, tomorrow I will try again following your indications to calibrate the compass and I will record that icon it seems to you, greetings
Thanks for the review! I may be wrong, but compared to the Hubsan H501S which I have, it seems that the Upair One FPV transmission is not too reliable. I notice that blank screens appeared from time to time even when the drone is less than 300m away.
300m is respectable range for stock FPV. But yes it's capable of further reception (I've flown out to 600 meters with it). To improve range, try reorienting the FPV antenna, or turning your body (with controller) a quarter turn right or left. This is analog video, very similar to old fashioned TV, and the art of rabbit ear antenna reception. To improve reception, you'll have to try different orientations of your antenna. As range increases, you'll also need to increase the altitude of the quadcopter to maintain reception. Finally, never point the antenna at the quadcopter. Try aiming the sides of the antenna perpendicular to the quadcopter.
the camera works well recording 2k video on its own with everything set to max on 6s. the problem only occurs when in gimbal grounded or flying, not as bad grounded. I think it may be lose connections within gimbal or bad solders. I was also wondering if I could have the camera battery supply power to camera without somehow drawing power from quadcopter helping lengthen flight times.
Yes I meant memory cards. And flying is much more data intensive than recording on the ground because there's lots more motion. Motion background is harder to compress the data vice a still background. Again recommend trying 1080p 30fps to see if the problem goes away. If it does, that would eliminate your concern of loose connections.
She gave a good show of herself. I noticed a lot of features they borrowed from the DJI platform. Would you have been able to see the screen without your home built sunshade? Thanks again for sharing.
Finally we are seeing this class of quad with these features price point drop. I figured this would happen and gives the likes of DJI and Yuneec some competition.
Nice review, thanks. I keep coming back tot his quad, mainly for the large display (I don't do smart phones) and low price. You mentioned that the antennae can't be upgraded. I have seen many videos of the H501s antenna mods, putting parabolic booster(Tx) and panel upgrade (FPV) on the standard transmitter antennae and got 2400m. Another guy put a cloverleaf on the quad. Are you saying these mods cannot be done on the UpAir? The monitor appears to lose signal - drops in and out - and other reviews show this. Do you not think some mod would help? Thanks.
I have 2 different U1 class of 2 different kinds od SD cards, both have the same result. I'm only trying to record in 1080p at 60fps not 2k or 4k. I ordered some U3 speed SD cards to try if that makes a difference but I'm already above the class 10 recommended.
Before I started the Quadcopter 101 channel, I ran a camera repair and video editing channel. Intermittent stops in camera video recording were usually due to card writing issues (either the memory card or the recording hardware couldn't keep up with writing of the video data stream). 1080p 60fps, 2K, and 4K have very data intensive, and can cause such issues if the memory card or writing hardware can't keep up. 1080p 30fps shouldn't be a problem for either. Give it a try at that speed, and if it works it will tell you at least to first focus on the cards, and if no luck there, it may be time to contact your vendor to see if they can provide a different camera.
I just ordered one today with one day shipping from Amazon it will be here tomorrow at some point I can't wait to get off of work and take it for a spin I've been saving up for it for 3 days now I know like I been saving for months or something but still I can't blow all my money on a drone so I have to take a little bit out everyday from what I make but the reviews on this thing or excellent and lie I got this over the DJI Phantom 3 standard so I can use my fpv goggles with it but I'm going to put a battery and receiver mod on it with a Cloverleaf antenna
Hey @Quadcopter 101! Thanks for your vid's. They've helped narrow decisions and considerations. By the way - why didn't you try the gimbal on this? And will you and show another video? Cheerson's CX-22 seems close in comparison to this - BUT egads, $200 - $400 more than this upAir! I'm have a (shark v.) CX-20 or a starter quad (with retractable legs and trying 3d gimbal) but found after the fact - it's limitation of 2 AUX's. At CX-22 should I just look towards a DJI (which I've been looking at) or would this upAir be a better, cost effective option to the CX-22? (upAir, CX-22, DJI) ?
Great video. I wish mine recorded that well. Mine flies that Good it just wont record without stopping and starting frequently. I don't have burst on or interval on. I think the gimbal wiring is messed up. The camera works excellent on it's own just not while attached to gimbal.
First I want to say is "I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE" this quad is great! I have the Hubsan H501s, which I totally LOVE! First quest- I assume it is brushless? What is the advantage to altitude hold when you have GPS and Headless? I never use altitude hold on my quad. Does it have follow me? I do Love the fact that it has the gimbal with the camera and at a reasonable price. This truly may be my next one. Thank you again for the review PS I'm so excitedly at I can't wait. I'm moving to Florida in 24 days and my quad is gonna have a lot of air time.
Hi yes this does have brushless motors! Altitude mode is when you want to keep a altitude and on most drones you are restricted to a certain speed in gps but altitude mode runs free Also this does not have follow me which is a bit of a bummer
good stuff, iam so happy in canada we dont have to worry about that stuff not yet any how even if we did ..id not feed into the money grab cause to be thats all it is and another way for them to control people more , its not going to make the morons stop at all that are not being responsible
I keep watching these videos and can't decide between phantom 3 standard or this. Having $100 off would be nice, but if there's a lot of features missing I might rethink things...
help me out here...in this video you demonstrated the alt hold feature. You gave a good explanation of why it gained altitude when speed increased, velocity/pressure etc. The quad clearly gained altitude . But,....in your review of the WLToys Q303, you performed the same test ...gaining speed in altitude hold mode and the quad LOST altitude. You gave the same explanation ( velocity/pressure) but the two quads had opposite reactions . So which is it? Should you expect one to climb or descend at velocity in alt hold mode? Thx.
It depends on how the flight control algorithm is setup. First keep in mind that the barometer is measuring static pressure inside the shell of the quadcopter. The altitude hold system is somewhat complex, and has to distinguish between minor variations in pressure (for normal altitude hold maintenance), and larger variations such as from wind and velocity. Regarding velocity, as quadcopter velocity increases, dynamic pressure increases and static pressure must drop for total pressure to remain constant. That static pressure drop might normally be interpreted as a gain in altitude if hovering. For an algorithm without any correction, the flight control software should reduce power to the motors in an attempt to maintain altitude (Q303), thus resulting in the quad actually losing altitude as velocity increased. But some designers realize that, and to prevent impact with the ground, instead reverse the algorithm to cause the quadcopter to climb with increased forward velocity (UPair One). Of course, this could all be fixed with a pitot static system to help maintain a steady altitude with forward velocity, but that would add increased complexity and cost to the quadcopter.
hello my friend, I'm from Brazil, I do not know if you spoke at the altitude that it goes ... what is the altitude and the distance that it reaches? If it is possible, please answer in Portuguese, thanks.
I am really wanting a phantom 2 Standard, but this drone seems really close to my budget, lol. I note noticed you experienced a lot of FPV drops, and I live in an Appalachia Area. It seems to be a great explorer, and steady flyer! Would you shop for a good deal on an more expensive one or this one with some better antennas?! Enjoy all your classes, keep posting, keep flying,😎
great video, hey bud I am in need of a drone, specifically for around clients homes. It would need to have hd video record, and up close for home inspections, around windows, roofs etc. The fpv needs to be good so I can fly round the back and sides of homes with no line of site. What would you suggest?
I had it first one, nothing but problems. Bad FPV, Bad Transmission range ESC issues Gimbal issues That being said, I do believe you when you say that it is good. Seems like the new company solved most of the issues and hope all the best for them. I went with a Phantom 4 instead, and yes it can't compare because it is a whole different league of its own, but for the price I suppose the Chase is good.
have you problem with this drone till now? I want to buy a drone but still thinking what drone is better between DJI Phanton 3 Standard with this.. i heard DJI P3S have a lot problems..
How appropriate is the UPAir One for a beginner? The out of the box looks easy, and it seems to have many advance capabilities. Will a novice be able to fly this as a first time flyer?
hey man idk much about drones n there's so many different ones out there with so many different features. I want one that I can fly to my friends house and back and also one with a cam so I can see wea I'm going. on top of that I would like the cheapest most reliable one. is there any recommendations you could give me?
Quadcopter 101 I have had drones before I'm. Experience do you recommend I buy this quadcopter because I used to think DJI was the best but know I just don't know what do you think about this quad I am still thinking about greeting the 4K Version.
Do you know of a good replacement transmitter for inside the controller? mine is getting too hot and giving a fuzzy screen. put it next to a house fan and it get perfect picture. or maybe you know a better fix.
Great review QC101 Do you do comparisons between drones youve tested? Im keen on either this drone, UPair One, or JYU Hornet S, or Mi drone. Which would you recommend
💥✨💥 WOW, 4 years later... does anyone know where I can buy a battery charger for this drone.?? I bought one for my daughter a couple years ago but lost the charger so I’ve never had it UP in the Air yet. Thanks if anyone does know and can offer that info. 🤟🏼
really want a DJI but have a budget for Chinese. can you control the camera angle from the remote? This sounds like a pretty decent option compared to 2x or 3x the price DJI
I just purchased this unit and a different transmitter. Should I replace the transmitter immediately or fly the drone in a couple of different areas? To see if it even needs replacing.
It looks easy enough to use. I am researching to buy my dad an introductory blue sky capable drone. I've sent him a handful of quadcopters, with the Syma x8sw as the simple quadcopter flagship, and the Parrot ar 2.0 as the most "drone-like". I myself also have an x8 and ar 2.0, and only fly right in front of me. I am hoping to send my Dad a good step up towards real drones, that is easier to use, offers a bit of blue-sky capability, and is a generally valueable training tool. I will probably consider a pretty good phantom rig as a "real drone", but by the time the pilot is equipped with phantom blue-sky filming/photography capability, it must be triple or more the price of this copter set. ?? How would you, (quadcopter 101) feel about this copter as a step between the x8 and the phantom complete setup rig?
that was what is the plan unfortunately it has been quite windy here and I want the best possible conditions to test. I changed from 1080p at 60fps to 30fps and instead of 16m I decreased to 8m (why is there no 12m?), and low data rate. now just waiting for God flying conditions.
This looks like another Phantom 2 clone, so if it works the same, you need to flick the right hand switch 8 to 10 times until the rear lights flash yellow. Do the calibration dance horizontally until they turn green and flash, then point the camera down do another spin until they stop flash and are a solid green and you're done. By the way, what was the UFO that flew past the screen diagonally from left to right at 15:58 TRT? LOL
Quadcopter 101, I appreciate your many reviews, and after reviewing the UpAir 4k, and the Hubsan 109S 4 pro, which in your opinion is the better quality drone?
did you know there is a app on Android for the upair one. have looked at app and it introduces follow me mode, auto take off and land. I also just read that you can flight plan. do you think you will review app

My meaning was how you discovered this deal at first place? Where it was published? where are those kind of deals published at BG site? :)

One of the better DJI knockoff quads.
Not made by DJI
I'm aware of that, seeing as though I watched the video. However, it is extremely close in design to the Phantom.
I have DJI P3 and the design is almost identical, even down to the startup and shutdown procedure. The excellent software on DJI will make it the better choice.
+Ian McKay and the fact that the Phantom is the original. This is just a pathetic copy.
+Tom Page "pathetic"
I find out that the screen resolution of the FPV monitor is around 720p. Great review!
To everyone: it may look like a phantom and may use the same props but there's one really really big difference. The price. For a drone at 379$ it's the best you can get.
Skittz 289
+N for Noah $289 for 2K $379 for 4K
Sebastian 'Skittz' Körner got 100 more you could get a more reliable drone, this one sucks bad, don’t buy it’s a peice of garbage

+ARMdevices.net I would have to pay $45 per month for 10gb of internet ! USA
i just got one yesterday cant wait to review it!
Seems like one of the best cameras you have tested. Usually good flying copter, poor camera. This time good camera and good flyer.
You are correct
FYI: I asked G10 Drone if they will be selling on Amazon.com. They are selling directly on Amazon and shipping from the manufacturer. The 2K is on sale for $299 and they added the spare battery for $79. Seems like whatever you ask, they add it to Amazon. The 4K is $359.
how good is this drone in compare to dji phantom 3 pro?
$900 to $300 you decide
You pay for what you get. You buy cheep you get cheep.
This guy is the best quadcopter reviewer of all time
Yes he is. And humble too ;-)
$300 would build an amazing explorer with a much longer range :/ assuming you already do fpv
Enjoying The Sun 577-Jersey Customs trust me, if I had $300 laying around, I'd do it! Don't give me an excuse to build another quad
Enjoy your videos... I have a less expensive quad and love flying it... but I find myself always saying, "if it just had altitude hold I could film so much better". This may be the answer... Thanks for sharing all these reviews, you do a good job and sound like a really cool dude. Take care, Clay
Could you get any closer to the phantom
You can't swap out the camera on the Phantom and the Phantom doesn't have its own FPV monitor. Also, you are not dependent on an APP that you must use on your own phone or tablet, lastly you are not bound by geofencing like the Phantom. So, other than color and some similarities in looks, the UPAir is not the Phantom.
3dr solo
Junk
be very interesting to open that quad up and see inside. looks like its running on APM2.8.
Wow that sucker was OUT there! That range is impressive.
When you have invested in OSD, 600 mw transmitter, a 7 inch monitor, a 2-axis gimbal + camera for the X380 you are above the
price range of the DJI and this one beats the DJI in price which is hard to beat. Thanks again.
That's what i think too... But is this a good drone? I mean it's so cheap for all it offers...
Real good buy, I agree! I've got a X380 and it has come down in price
and it's range stock is also hard to beat. The problem with it is, you
have to add the FPV equipment and gimbal. You end up spending a
lot more with the add-ons than what this quad costs which has more
features and is cheaper.
So you think this Upair is better than the x380? I was going to buy de x380 then i saw this vid ^^
Depends on what you want to do. The X380 has a tremendous range in excess of 1 mile running FPV and
stock transmitter over flat ground. You have to spend some money on a FPV transmitter, camera, mount,
monitor or goggles and cloverleaf antennas to do that. You will not have OSD or a gimbal and the cost
will exceed the price of the UPAir One loaded. I doubt that the UPAir One has the range of the X380.
The X380 has a BIG PLUS since it accepts modifications and it's a good reliable flyer that has proven
itself.
I've read some older reviews and they are only a month old. Some of the fellas might have gotten several
with problems. Range was part of the problems on FPV which is serious if you are flying FPV. The quad
is probably using a low powered transmitter and then the receiver is using dipole antennas instead of
the cloverleaf antennas which is a handicap for FPV range and quad video dropout when direction changes.
I would say the the X380 has more range and can take modifications which is a plus if I was worried about
range I would go with the X380 even though modifying it to match the UPAir would cost more.
Thank you for this video I just bought one from a pawn shop with no instructions now I can actually fly it thank you again..👌✌️✌️
I got mine yesterday and I'm extremely surprised and hyped
You may have better recommendation. I would like to be able to send drone to a gps cord such as real home. And also would be nice if video included data like heading altitude etc. I am doin simple home surveys to see if there is line of sight to wireless towers.
In altitude hold mode if the speed increases and the pressure drops it should think the altitude increased and therefore it should descend. Probably they included some algorithm to compensate this and that is why it goes up. Or for whatever other reason. :)
Yeah, that's got me scratching my head also. But not going to worry about it too much as this quadcopter is really meant for position hold flight.
Awesome video again! I would love to see some (non-TH-cam compressed) 2K footage if you can do that.
That one is impressive and that flash sale you can't beat that price👍
Yes, I have a view slot on the front of the screen. But goggles are much better.
Hey Quadcopter 101! For a novice flyer, would you recommend this UPAir ONE or the Hubsan H501S? Thank you, sir...and keep these great videos coming!
Is it a phantom knock of. The battery and the proellers and the design looks just like it :D. Or Phantom is a knock of of that
oh yea and the controller to
It is just simply a good battery design
Nerd Gamer K :D
That quad looks super awesome !
thanks for the great review I'll be purchasing it in a tomorrow keep up the great work.
BEfore I watch.... AT LAST A REAL Flight review!!! :-)
Finally we are seeing this class of quad with these features price point drop. I figured this would happen and gives
the likes of DJI and Yuneec some competition.
Thanks.
19:36 lol we can see he had some fun in the sand with his car before this vid
DOUNUTS!!!!
I Like it for the price but I am concerned about replacement parts and Batteries which Gearworst says they cannot ship to the USA right now.
Banggood is not supporting this product. Can't even get batteries for it. Manufacturer needs a much more professional retailer.
Did you check Amazon?
I saw the extra batteries for sale on Banggood.
Have you tried other camera cards?
First I want to say is "I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE" this quad is great! I have the Hubsan H501s, which I totally LOVE!
First quest- I assume it is brushless?
What is the advantage to altitude hold when you have GPS and Headless? I never use altitude hold on my quad. Does it have follow me?
I do Love the fact that it has the gimbal with the camera and at a reasonable price. This truly may be my next one. Thank you again for the review
PS I'm so excitedly at I can't wait. I'm moving to Florida in 24 days and my quad is gonna have a lot of air time.
Hi yes this does have brushless motors!
Altitude mode is when you want to keep a altitude and on most drones you are restricted to a certain speed in gps but altitude mode runs free
Also this does not have follow me which is a bit of a bummer
you should mention that if you live in the US you need to registor this quadcopter
It's listed in the video description, click Show More.
good stuff, iam so happy in canada we dont have to worry about that stuff not yet any how even if we did ..id not feed into the money grab cause to be thats all it is and another way for them to control people more , its not going to make the morons stop at all that are not being responsible
how do you change the field of view and also how long does it take to charge the battery? any help with these would be greatly appreciated
Best answer....Ever!!!!
This really does look like a nice one. What is the approximate recharge time for the battery?
hello my friend, I'm from Brazil, I do not know if you spoke at the altitude that it goes ... what is the altitude and the distance that it reaches?
Hello again Mr 101..hope your well ...you say you like the upair. Have you considered trying the plus?
I had it first one, nothing but problems.
Bad FPV,
Bad Transmission range
ESC issues
Gimbal issues
That being said, I do believe you when you say that it is good.
Seems like the new company solved most of the issues and hope all the best for them.
I went with a Phantom 4 instead, and yes it can't compare because it is a whole different league of its own, but for the price I suppose the Chase is good.
Compared to the Hubsan X4 Pro ... what would be the best buy?
Thank you for this video! Just placed my order!
Sincerely from Sweden!
Great video! May I ask, can this do aerial videos? Is the video stable enough?
have you problem with this drone till now? I want to buy a drone but still thinking what drone is better between DJI Phanton 3 Standard with this.. i heard DJI P3S have a lot problems..
Thank you just got one for $50 with the better camera and extra battery. supper happy. Good job on the video Big Help.
Good and helpful review on this one. Now a question, will a Syma X8C 2200 battery work in the Upair One controller?
Much better with your previous Mjx x101 and syma x8g? Would you recommend this?
How appropriate is the UPAir One for a beginner? The out of the box looks easy, and it seems to have many advance capabilities. Will a novice be able to fly this as a first time flyer?
Just ordered mine via amazon prime ( should be here thursday )Looking forward to flying it
How did it workout?
great video how does it compare to the scarlet minivet?
hey man idk much about drones n there's so many different ones out there with so many different features.
Hi great review, dang i just ordered a hubsan x4 501s advance and now that i see this video i think i should of bought this one insted !!!
I flew my new upair one drone 2.7k 1.5 kilometers yesterday with good fpv could've went a little farther but didn't want to push it stock by the way
Salve. Da cosa può dipendere se dal radiocomando, mediante apposito tasto, non si riesce più a dare l'input "Registra Video" o "Scatta Foto"?
Grazie.
You, SeBy, and MicroRCFriend are my go to information of trusting resources concerning quadcopters. I appreciate all of the vids.
Do you know of a good replacement transmitter for inside the controller? mine is getting too hot and giving a fuzzy screen. put it next to a house fan and it get perfect picture. or maybe you know a better fix.
does the gimbal fit a gopro4? Also would you happen to know if the USB port in the gimbal lines up with a gopro?
Great review QC101 Do you do comparisons between drones youve tested? Im keen on either this drone, UPair One, or JYU Hornet S, or Mi drone. Which would you recommend
💥✨💥 WOW, 4 years later... does anyone know where I can buy a battery charger for this drone.??
I bought one for my daughter a couple years ago but lost the charger so I’ve never had it UP in the Air yet. Thanks if anyone does know and can offer that info. 🤟🏼
BIG QUESTION.. If you pull all the way down on the stick and keep holding down when you are at a high altitude ,will it turn off in mid air?
Good day sir . ..which one you choose this one or hubsan h501s advanced? maybe you can suggest others quacopter like this function!
Hello mr Q just got UPAir 2 Ultrasonic Can you do a review On this particular quad? I found the instructions terrible I still haven’t flown it yet
Thanks Quad and when u get that info pls share !! I really like this Quad .It's not the best but it's good for doing amateur flying.
pretty nice why does the screen keep cutting out on the controller
Do you think it is possible to mod the antennas with a kit so they go further ? up to a mile maybe ?
For the quadcopter, what's the difference between:
-The headless mode (IOC)
-Postion Hold
-Altitude Hold
Many thanks! :D
really want a DJI but have a budget for Chinese. can you control the camera angle from the remote? This sounds like a pretty decent option compared to 2x or 3x the price DJI
Yes. See the video at 15:32
I just purchased this unit and a different transmitter.
Can you make a video about upgrade the dampballs.
that was what is the plan unfortunately it has been quite windy here and I want the best possible conditions to test. I changed from 1080p at 60fps to 30fps and instead of 16m I decreased to 8m (why is there no 12m?), and low data rate. now just waiting for God flying conditions.
Hey thanks for the video ! Do you know how to repair the controller back to the drone ? Thanks !!
Is there any chance you could hang a small box of chips like shapes on it
This looks like another Phantom 2 clone, so if it works the same, you need to flick the right hand switch 8 to 10 times until the rear lights flash yellow.
Adrian Zagni and what is this app, please ?
