After the Shibuya incident everything changes in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen as first off, we find out that atleast 10 million cursed spirits have been released into the streets of Japan by Kenjaku, and on that note his reappearance has created quite the commotion among the higher ups, who believe him to actually be Suguru Geto who they previously thought Gojo executed, meaning when Geto appears again the first thing they do is sentence him to execution again, however because they believe that Gojo actually left him alive when they last fought, they deem Satoru Gojo as an accomplice in the Shibuya Incident meaning he’s been permanently exiled from the Jujutsu World, and they’ve actually made it a CRIME to remove Gojo’s seal from the Prison Realm which they intend to keep him in for the rest of time. Now ontop of this, with Gojo no longer around, this means the higher ups were able to lift the suspension of Yuji’s execution as they order that it must be carried out IMMEDIATELY, and before we talk about who they chose to do just that, we should also talk about the fact that our beloved Principal Yagamichi who took in Yuji in season 1 of the anime, is actually now named as a criminal, because they believe he’s the mastermind behind Gojo and Geto’s plot during the Shibuya incident, so as Principal Yaga goes for a walk, he’s unfortunately executed by Principal Gakuganji, but in his last moments something interesting happens.

Just to correct this the higher ups knew this wasnt suguru. But used kenjakus apperance as suguru as an excuse to put a ban on saving gojo. Gojos presence was too great in the jujustu world so despite his very needed presence the higher ups put the ban in place to preserve their own power. So yes they're stupid but not as stupid as implied in this video.

Well, because Gojo is against killing yuji. Sukuna is no longer in control of yuji and no, due to binding vows, even if Sukuna switch with yuji for one minute, he wouldn't be able to kill anyone.

@@kiattim2100 any knowledge about Sukuna and a biding vow isn't part of the equation. The only people aware of that are... Sukuna... no one else. And that binding vow is moot because Sukuna can ultimately ignore it anyways . The higher ups have no real info and are just jumping to conclusions and trying to appear like they have some sort of control

NGL Yaga's Death are so stupid. He died because of a dumb reason and also he didn't fight back. It doesn't make sense 😭
I like him getting attacked and i'm even ok with his death in the story, but the thing i also hate is that he didn't fight back fully, reeaallly dumb imo. I think it would've worked way better, story wise, if they just made the guitar principal strong enough to kill Yaga while he's going all out because then it would've still made sense. I mean the higher ups have bullied Yaga all his life, suppressed his true abilities because they were afraid of him, and he just takes all of it. And then they want his life too and he's just like "ok, sure"? Nahhh, makes no sense.

You know, I kind of dropped JJK after the Shibuya arc, and after the Zenin clan massacre because the series becomes way too depressing even for me, still love it just lost faith in it now.
True, and some of those deaths don't even make much sense. But it also feels like there was no premise for it in the beginning.
Feels like Gege just wanted to be all edgy and make the story as sad and depressing as possible without realising that, if you keep killing characters senselessly, the audience will either become numb to that or stop caring about them.
Which, i think, is what happening now to most fans. Everyone just wants to know how this shit ends.

I don't even fully believe that the higher ups in the sorcerer world even think Gojo turned evil. Theyve always despised him and his power and see this as a golden opportunity to keep him away.
I never read the manga, just finished Season 2 and honestly I don't know if I want to keep watching this. I enjoyed a lot of the character stories, the women and people with disabilities were very well portrayed, and usually I can handle really long fights, I mean I've been a DBZ fan since diapers and those fights go on forever, but the last like 4/5 episodes of S2 were an absolute CHORE to watch.
The fight between Yuji and Patchface went on forever, and Yuji spams the same 2 moves constantly, the fight wasn't that interesting to watch. All the blood spilled and all the death, and Yuji, like everyone else in this godforsaken anime, takes wayyy too long to just actually deliver the final blow to kill the asshole and instead Suguru grabs him up and unleashes hell. I don't think my problem with the show is the long fights, it's the fact that there's no payoff at the end.
I'm convinced the Mangaka must be into edging, and I am not. There's only two seasons and the power creep is insane, which means this story can't go on for that long, this acceleration is unsustainable. I think Chainsaw Man handles relentless acceleration better. Cooldown periods would be useful for this story. I think Yuji should have killed Patchface and Geto gets away with Gojo, which would set up the plot for the remaining characters to go and hunt him down to free Gojo, without doing the whole 10 Million curses being unleashed on the world. This whole "loved characters are now being treated like criminals because of some corrupt "higher ups" to where even Yuta wants to kill Yuji" thing just isn't sitting right with me. I'd rather the one old man who tried to have the Kyoto students kill Yuji be corrupt, and the rest just be old-fashioned than to waste time on this whole big corruption subplot. I don't know if it's a translation thing, but the moral and ethical debates between the factions feel clumsy and not well-established or fully thought through. If the Managaka wanted a story to be political I think he should have spent more time establishing all the characters as morally gray/morally diverse and actually put the main character through moral dilemmas. Yuji as a protagonist feels like he's helplessly at the mercy of those around him instead of having any real agency or thought. I would have liked it if he recovered Junpei's alive but warped body and decided, whether it was actually possible or not, that he was going to find a cure for the distorted humans, would have given him more agency and moral depth.
