Yeah agree with ya, if you are really in love with the panther platform, the 1992 till 2002 was unique by it self.. cursing around with that relaxing lazy-boy couch and old soft gearbox steering system and that cloudy ride suspension 😋 no matter it is a vic or gran marquie .. or a towncar 🥹

Ford at their best! I had a 1995 Grand Marquis with the handling package that was great . Drove it from Boston to Florida, to Ohio, and Virginia Beach. Unfortunately was totaled by a truck head on.. I walked away. I still have dreams I’m driving it occasionally. Panthers rule.
That's one very clean 99 Crownvic brother, that car is not only built like a tank but it'll outlast any EcoBoost powered vehicle Ford makes with ease.

Reminds me of my mom’s old 1998 Town Car. That thing is so clean inside and runs amazing. I wore my AirPods Pro 2nd generation to test the new Spatial Audio compared to my old ones and this was so accurate I got motion sickness due to me cleaning my room 😂 Love the video keep them coming!
Still one of my favourite cars, It's so sad we can't have cars like this anymore... I'd love to own one, but they weren't sold in Spain, so it's really difficult to get one.
its a shame though :/, but the whole is about making money, if all cars were made reliable like this, no one would need to buy another car, and maufacturers would go bankrupt because there's no proft of people buying new cars, that's why new cars aren't reliable :(

Despite owning a Tesla, which I really love, I still want a Crown Vic as a weekend or nice summer day car. The V8 just sounds so nice. The offers for Crown Vics in Germany are really bad, with too many miles, etc. I’m thinking of importing a Crown Vic that has lived a life as a "granny’s Sunday church car" in nice condition and taking care of it. :)

I am in love with how comfortable and robust it is at the same time, a legitimate American car, unfortunately Ford did not sell it in Brazil, the biggest model was the Taurus.
They just don't make them like this anymore. They need to & people should be demanding it. These cars are one of the most comfortable rides ever.

Absolutely mint, I have a 2011 ex njsp unmarked cvpi that just hit 210,000 miles and it runs like new. You can't buy a car as dependable or as comfortable as these (or there panther platform counterparts) anymore.

I'm late to the party...I just found this video. You have a beautiful car as well. I got a 99 LX with 12,478 on it. Picked it up from a lady in May. I won’t post the links, but I have a walk around vid and POV as well. Take a peek if you'd like. It's crazy, when I put on replacement air bags on the lift at the shop (only new thing on it) I got to see how clean it was underneath. No rust and all of the stickers were still clean and white with barcodes. Not sure it has ever seen rain!

I bought my 99 grand marquis for $600 with 46,000 miles. The guy thought the motor was blown…just needed an ignition coil and a new intake manifold. I love that car. It’s amazing. They’re were really built to last. I think of them as a commercial grade commuter/service vehicle. Meant to eat up mileage with ease all while being safe and very comfortable. Nobody gets why I have so much love for the car until I show them the build quality and take them for a ride. Good purchase. Keep it clean and don’t mod it…maybe install dual exhaust if you don’t have it, They gain a few more HP

I think I see an all-plastic intake manifold. You'll want to swap that out for the new design before the thermostat housing breaks and you overheat.

@@PaulsPlace Up here in Ontario I had a low mileage Grand Marquis but the original owner never rustproofed it. Once the rust starts, you cannot stop it.

Is this version single exhaust or dual exhaust? Because the dual exhaust accelerates better than the single exhaust
It’s just the single exhaust. It is a little slow, but I have some small upgrades planned.

Ford Victoria with dual exhaust comes with a power of 220 horsepower, while the single exhaust version comes with a power of 205 horsepower, so the dual exhaust gives a big difference in performance
